Story
Meet Thor and Babs! Thor and his sister Babs are an adorable duo ready to meet their new forever family! This duo was brought to the spca from life on a farm, so they are well acquainted with wide open spaces, fresh air, and sunshine. These days, their dream is a slightly slower pace in a cozy home snuggled by a fireplace, lounging with their humans, and having loving people to share it all with. They are happy and friendly dogs who greet people with big smiles and enthusiastic wagging tails. Walks are one of their favourite activities, and they do very well on their leashes whether that's going on a familiar stroll or exploring a new area they are sure to be excited. When they are not on a stroll or soaking up as much attention as possible, you'll often find them lounging together in the yard, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the calm moments. They're experts at relaxation and would love a home that appreciates the balance of cozy downtime with adventure sprinkled into the mix. Story
Max is a charming 7-year-old mix with the best of three breeds and a personality that's full of heart. Known for his adorable "wiggle butt," Max doesn't just wag his tail-he wags his whole body when he's happy (which is often when he sees his favorite people). He's deeply affectionate and thrives on human connection. Max can have some anxiety when left alone, so he'd do best in a home where someone is around more often, or where he can be supported with structure and reassurance.Max needs to be the only dog in the household, as he prefers to have all the love and attention to himself. That said, he's shown a sweet curiosity and gentle affection toward kittens, which might make him a good fit for a home with feline friends (with proper introductions, of course).Max is looking for a dedicated, dog-savvy adopter who understands that behind his big feelings is a big-hearted, loyal companion just waiting for the right person to love. Please submit an application through the link below for Mr. Max!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Red Brown Weight: 27 Age: 7yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Meet Eddy! Eddy is a loving dog who is ready to have a new start in life. This handsome guy has unfortunately learned in his past that life is not always kind. Because of his rough start, new things can often feel scary to him at first, but underneath that caution is a dog who truly wants to do well and try his best to impress people. Once Eddy has time to get to know you, his sweet personality shines. He is a devoted snuggler and can sometimes think that he is a lap dog. Eddy finds a lot of comfort being curled up with someone that he trusts. When he feels safe, Eddy will be sure to show off his playful side with his zoomies around the yard. Eddy's speed and lack of coordination when he gets the zoomies is sure to keep you laughing.Because of his past, Eddy is still learning some of the basics. He will need a patient adopter who will see progress in small victories and use positive reinforcement to encourage Eddy every step of the way. Eddy has not had the opportunity to live in the warmth of a home environment and so he is continually learning how to be a dog such as how to play with toys, and where to go to the bathroom. If Eddy sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 24.7 Age: 6yrs 1mths 2wks
