Story
Bambi is a beautiful example of a Dutch Shepherd and all traits that come with owning this breed. Bambi loves to have a task to do; whether that's practicing scent work, chasing her ball, solving a puzzle, or spending hours running, she's a busy girl who has unbelievable intelligence. Bambi's favourite pastime is splashing in a pool or launching herself through the water of a hose, she is a true water dog. She is a highly loyal dog who loves her people and is willing to tag along for any adventure alongside them. Fetch and scent games are great fun in her world and she is fast to join in on new activities. She is looking for a home that is very familiar with her breed! Breed experience and knowledge is highly important for Bambi as a Dutch Shepherd requires a certain lifestyle. Bambi is definitely not a dog for a beginner owner. Her new home will have to be one that has the time to work with training with her, Dutchies have a mind of their own and require even more stimulation and engagement than an average dog.Bambi is looking to be the only dog in her future home and isn't ready to have a canine sibling at this time. She is also not suitable for a home with young children given her strong breed. If you are a Dutch Shepherd fancier Bambi may just be the one for you! Bambi is everything desirable about the Dutch Shepherd breed. She is highly intelligent, loyal, and beyond fun to work with! If Bambi sounds like the right fit for you, please fill in an application below! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: Black Brindle Weight: 25.1 Age: 0yrs 10mths 0wks
