Story
Meet this sweet boy looking for a second chance ❤️ He used to belong to an elderly woman who loved him deeply and raised him to be calm, loyal, and obedient. Sadly, she suffered a fall and had to be moved into a nursing home, leaving him behind. Since then, he has been staying with family, but because of territorial issues with another dog in the home, he has had to stay tied up most of the time. That is no life for a dog like him. He is a good boy, well-behaved, and deserves a safe home where he can run, feel loved, and be part of a family again. He has already lost the person he knew as home. Please help give him a new beginning and the life he deserves. If you can foster or adopt, please reach out. Please share to help change his life. 🐾

Story
Meet our little rescue dog.   After talking to the Cat House neighbors it appears he was dumped. Staff immediately scooped him up and whisked him away to the vets.  Once at the vets, we learned someone used him as target practice.  We couldn't believe someone would do this to this gentle kind dog.  Regardless of the abuse he's encountered, he's a really sweet dog.  He's about 20-25 pounds and fairly young. Little Black Dog hangs out all day with about 30 cats, a small resident dog, and also visits with the senior dog Buster.  He's learning how to walk on a harness leash and happy to report he's making great progress.  His favorite pass time is playing fetch with his favorite squeaky toy.  We hope someone with patience and a big heart can give him a loving forever home. Story
Meet Milo, a gorgeous golden boy with the cutest smirk smile! At about 15 pounds and 9 months old, Milo is the perfect cuddle companion. Milo is shy and prefers women, but with patience and affection, his sweet and loving personality shines through. Milo is looking for a quiet home without young kids and without a lot of activity. He loves to be held and prefers to sleep next to a human at night. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. In his foster home, Milo is very respectful of the cat. Milo lives to make his person happy. Milo has a long body which might indicate some Dachshund in his lineage. Milo is already neutered, micro chipped and up to date on his vaccines. He is being fostered in Hollister, CA.August 14, 2026, 3:52 pm
