Mia was found as a stray, presumably dumped after having puppies. She took a little while to warm up to us, but she is now a typical hilarious husky, complete goofball clown, that loves everything with a squeekie. She also loves playing with her BFF Max, who is also listed here.

Mr. Danny Devito (Named that because he's short compared to most of our dogs, and a little funny looking) is a great little dog. He loves his toys, and clowning around. He does great with other dogs, he will be fully vetted 7/21/23.

Story
Reno came to us out of the local shelter. He had a big tumor on his chest, and a severe eye infection. He has since been fully vetted and neutered. The eye infection has cleared, but Reno does have chronic dry eye that will require lifelong medication. Reno's eye sight is compromised, he can see, but has a tendency to bump into things. He doesnt let it slow him down when it comes to playing with the other dogs.

Story
Frank the Tank is a little pocket sized bully breed. He loves every person he has ever met, but tends to be a jerk to other dogs, must be an only dog. Very low energy, loves lounging on his bed, or sitting on the top step of the swimming pool. Wears himself out if you're walking more than half a block. He has the funniest facial expressions/personality.

Story
HAPPY HAGRID NEEDS A HOME! This big boy is a cuddly sweetheart who enjoys naps, cuddles, running, jogging and splashing in water and playing with his toys. (Did we mention this water boy likes splashing in puddles?) He was the biggest of his litter and he's not finished with growing. He is making good progress with leash training and he knows how to sit. During his last vet visit he tipped the scales at 54 pounds. He is people oriented, a total lovebug and has an impressive WOOFY bark. Hagrid does great with larger dogs, however he does chase cats because he wants to play with them. (The cats aren't thrilled with this, as you might expect.) Like all teenage pups, he would greatly benefit from dog training and experienced (large) dog owners. Please note: The adoption fee for Dog 25319 (Hagrid) is $75 (not subject to any discount or special offer).Dog 25319 (Hagrid) needs a home with no cats.More information & application [ts=1715310183&src=aap]

Story
For those of you who don’t remember Syd, she is the pit mix puppy who was attacked by another dog, spent time at @kingsburgvet and surrendered to PC. Syd has had a long recovery time, besides the initial injuries from the attack she had difficulty breathing. Our wonderful vet partner @kingsburgvet did various testing, x-rays, bloodwork, & cultures. While they were able to eliminate some disease concerns, we never were able to pin down the exact issue. Syd has a crazy overbite and still snorts when she breathes so it may be possible that her anatomy also contributed to some of her early breathing issues. The vet along with her foster mom provided Syd with supportive care to help get her thru the worst of her issues. It was touch and go for awhile and not being able to figure out a definitive answer was frustrating for everyone but we are just glad that she is doing better now and growing into such a good girl. Syd has been raised in a home with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and gets along with everyone. She is crate trained, housebroken, very treat motivated and is lower to medium energy level. She has completed her puppy vaccine series, microchipped, flea tick treated, dewormed, received her rabies vaccine and spayed. If you would like to be considered for the adoption of a dog or puppy, please follow the steps below and submit an application through our independent process (Petfinder “matchmaking” emails are not part of our process and we are unable to respond to them). If you have questions you must reach out to us as we do not have the capacity to individually contact all applicants.
