Story
Buddy showed up at the construction site I work at. I posted to try to find his owner with no luck. He’s young, sweet, and deserves a loving home. He is playful but also a snuggle bug. He would be a great addition to home! I would love to keep him but I have 3 dogs already. Rescues I’ve reached out to are currently full, so I’m hoping to find him a great home directly. Please message me if you’re interested in adopting or if you’re a rescue that can help find him a home.

Story
Meet Shadow! Shadow is about 5-6 years old, 40 pounds, and has a medium active energy. She lives for the thrill of the chase! Squirrels and cats are her favorites, so we are looking for a home with no smaller animals for her. But she does fantastic with dogs her size or larger, both male and female. She loves all people and has done well around kids. She is a little excitable, so slightly older children are recommended. She is an athletic little girl and can clear a 6-foot fence fairly easily. So, supervision and a nice tall fence are recommended for her. She is a great size for apartment living as well. She has a good mix of energy and can be your active, on the go companion, and your little cuddle bug. And she loves to be held like a baby. She is house-trained and will let you know when she wants to go out. She was reported to have some separation anxiety in her previous home, so somebody that is home more often, or willing to potentially put in the work to try and improve it may work best. But she may have a different reaction in a different home as well. Overall, she is the happiest, sweetest, silliest little girl that just needs somebody to give her a chance to get back into a home! Come meet this fantastic little girl at our shelter.

Story
Meet Olympia! This sweet girl is a little under 60 pounds (with room for a bit more), around 5 years old and has a medium energy. She enjoys chasing her toys and running around. She loves people and is a perfect passenger in the car. She is also good with other respectful dogs and likes to play. Cats and small children are unknown at this time. PLEASE NOTE: Olympia is recovering from a tick-borne disease and is doing great, but at this time will need to stay in the Fresno area so she can make her checkups with our vet in Clovis.

Story
Meet Matlin! This funny guy is about 53 pounds and has a medium energy. He was originally found by a good Samaritan wandering around by a school. He is housetrained and crate trained and is pretty good at entertaining himself. He loves balls and toys and will flop them around playing with himself. He does well with male and female dogs, with proper introductions (he just needs to get a little excitement out on a walk first) and enjoys playing and then hanging out with other dogs. He lived off and on with a cat and did okay. He was curious, and would chase some if they ran, but otherwise lived peacefully with them. So he may be suited for a home with cats, but we always recommend slow introductions to cats in a new home. He has done well with older kids, but very small children are unknown. This boy is very sweet and funny. Come meet this boy at our shelter!

Story
Meet Bella!Bella is a chunky, lovable 60-pound girl who is approximately 4–5 years old and full of personality. After her owner passed away, Bella lost the home she had known and found herself in need of a fresh start. She previously lived with a male pit bull mix and was ultimately surrendered to a local shelter.Bella is an absolute circus clown who keeps everyone entertained with her silly antics and goofy personality. She loves people and is the type of dog who wants to be involved in whatever is going on. Whether she`s making you laugh with her antics, soliciting belly rubs, or soaking up attention from new friends, Bella is happiest when she`s around her humans. She does have some playful bursts of energy and can be surprisingly spunky for a chunky girl, but she tires out quickly and is more than happy to trade playtime for cuddles and belly rubs. Bella loves people and has done well with children.Cats: Because of her strong interest in them, she is looking for a cat-free home. You could replace it with:If you`re looking for a dog with a zest for life, a joyful spirit, and a personality that will keep a smile on your face, Bella may be the perfect addition to your family. This happy-go-lucky girl brings fun wherever she goes and has an infectious enthusiasm for life that is impossible not to love. Come meet Bella at our shelter!Or a slightly more emotional version:Despite losing the home she once knew, Bella hasn`t lost her joyful outlook on life. She is full of happiness, love, and enthusiasm, and approaches each day with a wagging tail and a smile. If you`re looking for a dog with a zest for life and a heart full of joy, come meet Bella at our shelter!
