Meet Shadow! Shadow is about 5-6 years old, 40 pounds, and has a medium active energy. She lives for the thrill of the chase! Squirrels and cats are her favorites, so we are looking for a home with no smaller animals for her. But she does fantastic with dogs her size or larger, both male and female. She loves all people and has done well around kids. She is a little excitable, so slightly older children are recommended. She is an athletic little girl and can clear a 6-foot fence fairly easily. So, supervision and a nice tall fence are recommended for her. She is a great size for apartment living as well. She has a good mix of energy and can be your active, on the go companion, and your little cuddle bug. And she loves to be held like a baby. She is house-trained and will let you know when she wants to go out. Overall, she is the happiest, sweetest, silliest little girl that just needs somebody to give her a chance to get back into a home! Come meet this fantastic little girl at our shelter.

Meet Bella! Bella came from a home, via a local shelter, where she was a loved member of the family until her owner unfortunately passed away. Bell is a chunky 60-pound girl, about 5-6 years old, and has a medium (a higher energy for a bulldog type of girl). She is adventurous and curious and always wants to follow her nose to an interesting scent. She loves the water and playing with toys. She loves people, but doesn`t always recognize her own size, so sturdy kids may be best. Bella is good with other male dogs and previously lives with a male pitbull mix in her home. Bella is an absolute circus clown who keeps everyone entertained with her silly antics and goofy personality. Whether she`s making you laugh with her antics, soliciting belly rubs, or soaking up attention from new friends, Bella is happiest when she`s around her humans. NO CATS please! Come meet this sweet barrel of a girl at our shelter!

Meet Matlin! Matlin was originally found by a good Samaritan wandering around by a school. He is about 2 years young, 53 pounds, and has a medium-active, but flexible, energy. He loves to run and play and is fantastic at entertaining himself if you`re busy. He loves to just grab a toy and flip it around for himself, or chew on it to pass the time. He would make a fantastic adventure partner as he loves to sniff and explore new surroundings. But he would also love to be your chill cuddle bug at home. This boy can do it all (he just needs a regular daily walk or play time)! He enjoys cooling himself off in the water or hunting for lizards in our play yards. He has done well with dogs, both male and female, with proper introductions (He just needs to get a little energy out on a walk first) and enjoys play. He had lived on and off with a cat and did enjoy a chase when they ran but never acted aggressively towards them. So, a home with a dog savvy feline friend may work, but slow and proper introductions are always recommended. Matlin loves everybody he meets, but can get excited and a little jumpy, so slightly older kids are recommended.This funny guy is about 53 pounds and has a medium energy. He was originally found by a good Samaritan wandering around by a school. He is housetrained and crate trained and is pretty good at entertaining himself. He loves balls and toys and will flop them around playing with himself. He does well with male and female dogs, with proper introductions (he just needs to get a little excitement out on a walk first) and enjoys playing and then hanging out with other dogs. He lived off and on with a cat and did okay. He was curious, and would chase some if they ran, but otherwise lived peacefully with them. So he may be suited for a home with cats, but we always recommend slow introductions to cats in a new home. He has done well with older kids, but very small children are unknown. This boy is very sweet and funny. Come meet this boy at our shelter!

Shylow came to us in September as a stray - completely emaciated, dehydrated, and terrified of people. We weren't planning to take in a dog, but we couldn't just leave him like that.Over the past year we got him healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We invested in professional training and put in a lot of daily work with him. He's made a complete transformation.He's around 2 years old, blue merle Australian Shepherd with striking blue eyes. He's fully deaf, but he knows his basic hand signals and responds well to them. He loves other dogs he's been properly introduced to, has that classic Aussie herding energy (he will try to herd you), and he's just a sweet, loyal dog who wants to be around people.He's been doing great with regular walks and doesn't need much more than that - he's not high maintenance, he just wants to be loved and included. He's been living in an outdoor kennel and he deserves a real home.We're happy to have you come meet him, or to bring him to you.

She loves playing with toys, chasing a ball, and splashing in the water. She is also a perfect passenger in the car and would make a wonderful adventure buddy—then happily come home and curl up with you on the couch.Olympia gives the best cuddles and simply wants to be close to her people. She loves adults and children, walks beautifully on a leash, and has done well with dogs her size. A home without small dogs or cats would be best.Olympia is truly the sweetest girl. Meet Bixby! This handsome, young guy is a total catch of a dog. Bixby is great with other dogs. He loves to run and play. No Cats please. Bixby has spent most of his life in the shelter and needs a low traffic home that will allow him the time and space needed to fully decompress and get comfortable where he is at. He bonds quickly with his people but can be overwhelmed with too many visitors and new experiences in the home too soon. A family with teenagers and up is preferable. He loves to run, play, and swim and be out and about. He has done well at events and lunch dates and minds his manners out in public. He knows some obedience like sit, shake, and down, did well in a crate at night and figured out the doggy door quickly. He is a very intelligent boy that picks up new commands and ideas very quickly, and he just needs that right home to put just a little effort into him.
