Story
🐾 Meet CJ (Calamity Jane) — Our Beautiful Redhead in Rehabilitation 🐾 CJ is currently in rehabilitation and learning to trust the world again 💔➡️💗 She is a 6-year-old mixed breed, about 40 pounds, with a stunning red coat and a playful spirit just waiting to fully shine. On February 23, 2023, we rescued CJ after she had been dumped in the middle of nowhere for at least 6 days with no food or water. Despite everything she went through, she is still here — and slowly choosing trust again 🙏 🩷 CJ’s Progress: • She is learning to trust us more and more every day • Other dogs really help bring her out of her shell 🐶 • She LOVES to play once she feels safe She still has a long road ahead, but the progress she’s made already is incredible 💗 🏡 What CJ Needs: • A patient foster (or experienced adopter) to continue her rehabilitation • A calm, understanding environment • Another friendly dog would be a HUGE benefit for her confidence CJ is not a “ready-made” dog — she is a work in progress. But for the right person, she will be something truly special 🐾 She didn’t deserve what happened to her, but she deserves everything good that comes next 💗 🙏 Please consider fostering, adopting, or sharing CJ’s story to help her continue her journey

Story
MEET ARIES — HE JUST WANTS A HUMAN OF HIS OWN Aries is a beautiful red Husky, approximately 2.5 years old, who is looking for the one thing he wants most in this world: companionship. Aries came to us after repeatedly escaping from a neighboring property. He began hanging around our property and following us while we worked, almost as if he had decided this was where he felt safe. Then one day, he disappeared for two days. We worried something terrible had happened to him. Thankfully, Aries came back. We told our neighbor he could stay with us while we worked on finding him the right home, and something incredible happened — Aries hasn't tried to escape here. He absolutely LOVES people and wants to be wherever his human is. During a recent visit to a friend's home, Aries did wonderfully inside and seemed so content just being part of a household. When it was time to leave, he didn't want to go. Aries also rides well in the car and would happily be your adventure buddy or copilot. Approximately 212 years old Red Husky Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped Loves people and companionship Has done well with male dogs around him Has done well inside a home Rides well in the car Located in Selma, California Like many Huskies, Aries will need a secure home and a family who understands the breed and will give him the activity, companionship, and attention he deserves. His adoption fee is WAIVED for the right home, and we will send dog food with him to help him get started. Meet-and-greets and adoption trials are available. Aries has spent enough time wondering where he belongs. We're hoping his next car ride isn't just another trip back to rescue — but the beginning of his forever life

Story
NEEDS TO BE ONLY DOG. Or taken to training. Xena was out in the country for almost two months with a harness. Harness was embedded under her arm creating a wound. She was shutdown at first and would look away when we talked to her after trapping her. She was eating at dead animals before a good samaritan came and started feeding her daily. He had a worker feed her when he couldn't. The next day she was happy and kissing me. She loves her dog house because it's a safe place. We will be testing her with other dogs. She's 2 years old.

Story
🐾 Meet Coco — A Survivor Learning What Love Feels Like 🐾 Coco is a senior boy with a story that still doesn’t feel real 💔➡️💗 For five years, Coco survived along the I-5 corridor near Firebaugh — living off scraps, avoiding people, and somehow staying alive through it all. So many tried to help him over the years… but he was always just out of reach. That is, until his story finally changed 🙏 After dedicated searching, long hours, and a carefully adjusted plan — Coco was safely trapped and brought into care. For the first time in years… he could finally rest. 🩷 And rest he did — his first real sleep lasted over 24 hours --- 🩺 Since rescue, Coco has: ✔️ Gained weight and strength ✔️ Begun trusting his surroundings ✔️ Started showing his personality more each day ✔️ Learned that he is finally safe He’s gone from pure survival mode… to slowly discovering comfort 💗 --- 🐶 Coco Today: • Quiet and observant • Starting to “talk” and express himself • Enjoys being outside and near his people • Has formed a special bond and continues to build trust at his own pace He is still learning, still healing — and everything is on his timeline --- 🏡 What Coco Needs: • A patient, experienced home (when he’s ready) • A calm, secure environment • Someone who understands trauma and will allow him to continue building trust Coco is not being rushed. After everything he’s been through, he deserves the time and space to truly feel safe. --- Coco didn’t just survive… he endured the unimaginable. Now, he’s finally getting the chance to live 💔🐾 🙏 Please consider supporting his ongoing care or sharing his story #PinkyPaws #Coco #SeniorDog #RescueDog #SurvivorDog
