Story
Georgie is a sweet 2 year old heeler mix who loves outdoor adventures, playing with other dogs and snuggling with her humans. She'll hike with you all day every day or happily hang around the house. She is food motivated and enjoys training, would do best with regular opportunities to train and work her brain. She has been a wonderful dog, but since the birth of our 1st child, she has become protective of our home and anxious around visitors she doesn't know. She would do best in a quieter home that can slowly introduce her to new people inside the home with patience and structure. She does warm up to new people with gradual intro, then becomes very affectionate and excited to see her new friends. Once you're in, you're in! She loves other dogs, but does not like very young puppies. She is great with our baby, but anxious around young children. She is such a special, smart, sweet dog who we know will thrive in a new home! Happy to pay for training sessions to ease the transition.

Story
We adopted Kiya last spring. She has been trained to bike and walk on leash with little to no pulling. Very good with kids and other indoor animals. Has a very quite demeanor. And very good with other dogs when on leash. The reason we are looking for a new home for her is she need somewhere without chickens. We have continued training on this issue and its a habit hard to break.

Are you an outdoorsy, active human that's looking for the perfect adventure buddy? Guess what, I'm the perfect adventure buddy!! My name is Duggie! I am an adorable and sweet young guy. I'm excited for a family that can take me on adventures and teach me about the world. I'm learning a bunch of wonderful things here at the shelter like how to walk on a leash and take naps in my crate. I have the softest fur, the shelter staff joke that I feel like a little seal! I get along great with other doggo friends that love to run and play too, so if I sound like the perfect fit, come and meet me today!

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Cookie! I am a fun-loving goofy dog looking for a playful family. I am a well-rounded girl who loves playing with other dogs, going for walks with adults and kids, and playing with my toys. I have a lot of energy and a lot of love to give! In my new home I would like to learn new tricks: I already can sit and give my paw! I would probably do well with a cat in my home, as I've been casual around cats at the shelter. If I sound like just what you're looking for, fill out your adoption survey today!

This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello there, my name is Iris and I'm looking for a fellow tennis ball enthusiast because I think they're the best thing in the world. I am a silly and bouncy lady that has a whole lot of love to give. I have an old injury to my front leg that causes me to walk with a limp (from some arthritis) but it doesn't cause me much trouble. It just means I don't love to romp and roll with doggo friends these days, I much prefer those chill, just want to hang out friends. I'd love to meet you so please call C.A.R.E. or fill out an application today!
