This chunky monkey came to us with his siblings from our friends at Underdog Rescue and Rehab in Moab, Utah. While Nutmeg may have had a rough start to life (he is recovering from some non-contagious skin issues) he’s thriving now and can’t wait to find a forever family of his own!Nutmeg is sweet, fun-loving, and full of puppy joy. He loves to play, soak up attention, and then curl up for a good cuddle session—he’s a true snuggle bug! With his friendly and social nature, Nutmeg should do well in a home with other friendly dogs, respectful kids, and possibly even cats!As with all puppies adopted from our shelter, Nutmeg would benefit from a family committed to ongoing socialization and positive reinforcement–based training to help him grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion dog.Mr. Nutmeg is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his age-appropriate puppy vaccines. Howdy Partner, say hello to Tex! Tex is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd Mix who is looking for a new family to call his very own! Mr. Tex was picked up as a stray roaming in Texas by a family who was traveling for the holidays. Despite being found in Texas, he ended up riding all the way to Colorado and found himself in our care!* Although he did not have a collar or a microchip when he arrived with us, Tex was in such good shape and was so social and well behaved we had a hard time believing he was just a stray dog on the street; we knew he had a family out there somewhere! Our team did some digging and we found his humans! Unfortunately even though they missed him terribly, they were unable to make the trip up from Texas to reclaim him - they asked that we find him a loving new family who will take the best care of him and give him all their love and attention, so that`s what we are going to do! Tex has been a gentleman since arriving at our shelter, but he is ready to find his new home and family and start living the good life again! Tex is a sweet boy who has done well meeting new humans and other friendly dogs here at the shelter, his previous family told us that he also does well with kids, cats, and even farm animals! Despite being almost 10 years old, Tex is still an active guy who is up for adventure! He would love to join you on your next hike as he loves to explore and also enjoys a good game of fetch to pass the time! This fuzzy boy has got hops and may need an extra tall and secure fence (or supervised outside time) to prevent him from escaping and taking himself for a stroll around the neighborhood.Tex is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines, he even got his pearly whites cleaned and can`t wait to give you lots of kisses! This handsome senior boy is ready to find love again - come meet him today and see what a good dog he is! *We do not condone relocating stray animals outside of the local area where they were found - if they were lost and have a family looking for them like Tex did, their humans would not know to look at shelters hours/states away. Meet Ashleigh!Ashleigh is a stunning 2 year old bully breed-type mix who’s ready to find a family she can finally call her own! Sweet Ashleigh was adopted from our shelter a few months ago, but has recently returned when her new home was just not the right fit for her. Ashleigh first arrived at our shelter as a shy, shut down, and unsure stray; but with patience, compassion, and consistent love, she really opened up to our staff and volunteers and we saw a young pup who needed time and patience to teach a nervous girl that there really is some good in the world. Ashleigh has a gentle spirit and so much affection to give. Once she feels safe with you, she’ll happily share her soft snuggles, wagging tail, and even the occasional burst of playful zoomies! This girl loves her toys and is happy to play by herself (but would much rather play with you!) She’s done incredibly well with other dogs here at the shelter and may truly thrive with a friendly, confident canine companion to help guide her and keep her company. Miss Ashleigh will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She does experience separation anxiety, so she’s looking for an experienced, patient home that can help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. A calm environment, possibly with another well-mannered friendly dog or a loving human who works from home, would be wonderful for her! At this time, because she can be anxious and easily overwhelmed, we think a home without young children would be the best fit for her. If you believe that the most meaningful relationships grow from understanding and gentle reassurance, Ashleigh might be the perfect match for you.
