Story
Georgie is a sweet 2 year old heeler mix who loves outdoor adventures, playing with other dogs and snuggling with her humans. She'll hike with you all day every day or happily hang around the house. She is food motivated and enjoys training, would do best with regular opportunities to train and work her brain. She has been a wonderful dog, but since the birth of our 1st child, she has become protective of our home and anxious around visitors she doesn't know. She would do best in a quieter home that can slowly introduce her to new people inside the home with patience and structure. She does warm up to new people with gradual intro, then becomes very affectionate and excited to see her new friends. Once you're in, you're in! She loves other dogs, but does not like very young puppies. She is great with our baby, but anxious around young children. She is such a special, smart, sweet dog who we know will thrive in a new home! Happy to pay for training sessions to ease the transition.

Story
Chino is a rescue and is around 7-8 years old. He absolutely loves humans but does not do well with other dogs. He has the potential to do well with small dogs but the introduction will have to be slow with lots of patience. Chino doesn’t do well with children as they overwhelm him and would be better in a home with no kids. Chino also has separation anxiety and will need lots of patience and reassurance. It was recently discovered that he has a few tumors but they are not believed to be aggressive forms of cancer. Chino is so very loved but is being rehomed in order to improve his quality of life in a home with a little less chaos and a lot more quiet where there are no kids. Please help us find a good home for him where he can live out the rest of his life having fun and thriving.

Story
Meet Kiara!Kiara is a beautiful 10 month old mixed breed girl with a great big heart she wants to share and an even bigger love for adventure! This sweet girl originally came to our shelter last year when she was saved from New Mexico by our pals at Rescued Pets Movement. Kiara was recently returned to the shelter when her previous adopter realized they couldn’t give her the time and activity she needs to truly thrive. Now Miss Kiara is ready to find a home that can keep up with her fun, active spirit!Kiara is an energetic, playful pup who loves to run, explore, and experience the world around her. She would do best in an active household where she can burn off her energy in positive ways—whether that’s hiking, long walks, playing with dog friends, or exploring the outdoors. She absolutely adores everyone she meets, both humans and other dogs, and would likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion to play with! Kiara is a smart girl who is still learning her manners and basic commands, so she’ll do best with someone who is excited to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.Like many curious young dogs, especially herding breeds, Kiara has shown an interest in chasing wildlife, so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will be important for her safety and success in her future home!Kiara is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is ready to go home today! If you’re looking for a happy, energetic companion who will join you on all of life’s adventures, Kiara might be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl—you just might fall in love!

Story
Meet Indie!Indie is a beautiful and spunky 4.5 year old mixed breed girl who’s ready to find her forever home! Miss Indie was adopted from our shelter a couple of years ago, and she has recently found her way back to us through absolutely no fault of her own when her adopter experienced some health issues and could no longer care for her.Indie is an active, energetic, and playful dog who absolutely loves people. She’s outgoing, affectionate, and happiest when she’s spending time with her humans. She has a really goofy personality and loves getting any chance she can to romp and play. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, going on hikes, or just hanging out together at home, Indie is always excited to be part of the adventure.Even though Indie is an energetic dog who is always up for a good time, she’s also a great house dog—Indie is potty trained and does well in the home environment. Like many enthusiastic pups, she could use a little work on her leash manners, but with consistency and some training, she’ll make a wonderful companion for an active household!Indie is not a big fan of other dogs, for this reason Indie will do best as the only dog in her new home. This girl needs somewhere she can soak up all the love and attention for herself! In return, she’ll give you a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s always ready for the next adventure.Indie is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all her vaccines. If you’re looking for a playful, people-loving dog to share life with, Indie might just be your girl. Come meet her—you may fall in love!

Story
Meet Baby Dirt! This extra special boy has come such a long way—and now he’s ready to find a family to call his very own! Baby Dirt is a 4.5 month old Great Pyrenees mix (with maybe a little Border Collie in there?) who is expected to grow into a BIG, beautiful boy!Baby Dirt arrived at our shelter as a stray alongside his mom, Momma Dirt and they were never claimed by an owner. These pups were found dirty, underweight, very hungry. We don’t believe Baby Dirt had ever been handled by humans before coming into our care, but despite his tough start, this resilient pup is learning every day that life can be full of love, safety, and joy! Now, Baby Dirt is blossoming into a happy, curious puppy who is beginning to embrace the world around him. He may still need a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his sweet and playful personality shines through. He loves gentle pets, is eager to bond, and is ready to join his people on all kinds of adventures!Baby Dirt does well with other friendly dogs of all ages and sizes, and he may even do well in a home with a confident, dog-savvy cat. Because he’s still building confidence, he would thrive in a patient and understanding home that can continue to guide him with kindness and positive reinforcement! This boy has already overcome so much—and he has so much love left to give. If you’re ready to help a gentle soul continue his journey and grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be, Baby Dirt just might be your perfect match!
