Story
Chance is a handsome and fun loving Standard Poodle mix who is looking for love! We think this cutie is around 1 year old and he is ready for adventure! Chance came to us as with his pal, Diana when they were both found as strays who were never claimed by an owner. We aren`t sure why no one would want to come for sweet Chance, but we do know that he is ready to find a brand new family to love and play with! Chance is an outgoing and social boy, he enjoys meeting new people and seems to like playing with other friendly dogs both big and small. Goofy Chance has lots of energy and we think he will thrive in an active home where he can get lots of exercise and playtime! This big handsome guy is still working on basic commands and manners, but he is smart and eager to please so we think working on training with his new family will be a great bonding experience for him and his humans! Chance is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines! Chance is ready for his second chance, come meet him today and fall in love!

Story
Addie is a gorgeous and fun-loving 8 month old Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for an amazing forever home to call her very own! Addie came to us when she was adopted from a shelter in the Front Range, but her new adopters quickly realized that she is active and outgoing gal who and lots of exercise and play time, which was more than they felt they could provide for her. Luckily Addie has had lots of fun hanging out here at our shelter (and in a super fun foster home) while she waits for her forever family! Addie is a social butterfly who loves to to play, explore, and make new friends! Addie has done wonderfully with meeting new humans, but she can bet a bit nervous around new doggy friends. Addie will require a proper, slow introduction when meeting new dogs to ensure that they can be pals, as Miss Addie can be a bit dog selective with her canine companions. She can also be a bit vocal on leash when seeing new dog friends. We think Addie is going to thrive in a home where she can get lots of love and attention! This gal can be a bit anxious when left home alone, so we know she would love a family who is excited to take her places and let her experience all kinds of new adventures! Addie is going to be an amazing hiking and outdoor pup, the perfect mountain dog! Miss Addie is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines... All she needs now is a family to love! Don`t miss your chance to meet sweet Addie today!

Story
McPupNugget is ready for adventure! Despite having quite the goofy name, this boy is a wonderful pup and would make an amazing adventure buddy. McPupNugget just arrived to our shelter from a rescue in New Mexico and we are so excited to help him find his forever home. Even though we have only known him for a short time, we have learned so much about his personality. He loves people and other pups and is already learning all about leash walking! This handsome guy is already neutered, microchipped, dewormed, HW tested and up to date on his vaccines!

Story
Roscoe is a handsome as can be Husky boy who is looking for his perfect forever family! This gorgeous boy came to our shelter as a stray who was not reclaimed by his owner, but we think Roscoe is excited at the chance to have a fresh start with a loving new family who will take him on all sorts of fun adventures and explore the world with him! Roscoe is a super friendly pup, he has a loving demeanor and is quite social, he makes new friends quickly and has done extremely well meeting other friendly dogs here at the shelter. We think Roscoe would do well in a home with polite kids, but may do best in a home without cats or other small critters. Mr. Roscoe is an athletic dog who leans into his Husky instincts, he is going to do best in a home where he can get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and both mental/physical stimulation! We think this sweet fluffy guy would be the perfect fit for an active family who enjoys hiking, camping, and getting outside to play! Roscoe is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Don`t miss your chance to meet this lovely Husky boy today!

Story
Meet Ashleigh!Ashleigh is a stunning 2 year old bully breed-type mix who’s ready to find a family she can finally call her own! Sweet Ashleigh was adopted from our shelter a few months ago, but has recently returned when her new home was just not the right fit for her. Ashleigh first arrived at our shelter as a shy, shut down, and unsure stray; but with patience, compassion, and consistent love, she really opened up to our staff and volunteers and we saw a young pup who needed time and patience to teach a nervous girl that there really is some good in the world. Ashleigh has a gentle spirit and so much affection to give. Once she feels safe with you, she’ll happily share her soft snuggles, wagging tail, and even the occasional burst of playful zoomies! This girl loves her toys and is happy to play by herself (but would much rather play with you!) She’s done incredibly well with other dogs here at the shelter and may truly thrive with a friendly, confident canine companion to help guide her and keep her company. Miss Ashleigh will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She does experience separation anxiety, so she’s looking for an experienced, patient home that can help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. A calm environment, possibly with another well-mannered friendly dog or a loving human who works from home, would be wonderful for her! At this time, because she can be anxious and easily overwhelmed, we think a home without young children would be the best fit for her. If you believe that the most meaningful relationships grow from understanding and gentle reassurance, Ashleigh might be the perfect match for you. Come meet this special girl and see just how rewarding it is to help a shy pup shine!Ashleigh is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines — she’s all set and waiting for her perfect forever home, we know her humans are out there waiting for her!

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Lexi and I'm a petite little lady! Like you come to expect from a cattle dog; I am active, fiercely loyal and cuddly as can be. I am also nippy and obsessed with herding things, including cars and cats. I take a minute to warm up to strangers but once I know you I'm all in with cuddles and fun. I can keep up on any hiking trail or adventure. My perfect home will be out in the country, with limited traffic and visitors. I prefer a quieter home where I am the only pet but I don't mind hanging with other calm dog friends when we're out and about. I would prefer my people be adults or older, respectful teens. If I sound like the perfect companion to your lifestyle, please fill out an adoption survey or call C.A.R.E. today. I'd love to find my new family soon!
