Story
I have had Akela since he was 10 weeks old, he just celebrated his 6th birthday 01/06/26. He loves to play fetch and anything to do with toys is his favorite thing in the world. He is great with people but absolutely cannot be around other dogs. I did slowly acclimate him to my ex boyfriends female dog and they got along well and live together for almost 3 years no issues. He would do great in a home with a fenced backyard and no other pets. He hasn’t been around children much and while I believe he would be fine, he doesnt enjoy being hugged on or poked/prodded so a house without children would probably suit him best. He is a very sweet dog and just loves playing and being outside but because he cannot be around other dogs and I do not have a yard for him, with his high energy level it is hard for me to give him the life he deserves. I am willing to drive him however far I need to, as long as I know he is going to a good home where he will be loved and well taken care of.

Story
Neo is a sweet, bouncy 1 year old mixed breed with a personality as unique as his adorable little “cowlick!” We think this handsome boy may be a blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback, Retriever, and Terrier — which would explain his playful energy, loyal heart, and that irresistible charm. He is just shy of 45 pounds and the perfect sized companion to join you on all your adventures! Neo was adopted from us as a puppy, but through no fault of his own, he recently found his way back to us when he wasn’t being properly cared for. Despite the bumps in his journey, Neo hasn’t let anything dull his shine. He’s still the same happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging sweetheart who believes every day is a good day to make a new friend! This fun-loving boy is full of pep and enthusiasm! He would thrive with an active family ready to include him in adventures, playtime, and continued training. Neo already knows “sit,” “down,” and “shake,” and while he could use a little polishing on his manners (he’s just so excited about life), he’s smart, eager, and ready to learn!Neo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all his vaccines — he’s all set to start his next chapter, all he needs is you! If you’re looking for a resilient, joyful companion with a heart of gold and the cutest face around, Neo might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see how quickly he’ll wiggle his way into your heart!

Story
Say hello to Ruby Tuesday! Ruby is around 1 year old and we think she is some unique kind of Bulldog (or some other type of Bully-Breed) Mix who is sweet as can be! Ruby Tuesday has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone she meets both shelter staff, volunteers, and visitors! Ruby came to us when her previous family was no longer able to care for her, but she is so excited for the chance to start life fresh and find a brand new family to love her! Ruby is a loving, people-focused girl who lives for attention and affection. If you’ve got hands for belly rubs, she’s ready to roll right over and soak them up! She adores being close to her humans and would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family and showered with love.Ruby would do best as the only pet in the home, as she does not seem to get along well with other dogs and prefers to have all the attention to herself. She’s happiest when she can relax by your side, go for easy strolls, and enjoy quality one-on-one time.Ruby Tuesday is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and has been given a clean bill of health by our vet. She’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will give her the forever home she deserves. Come meet Ruby Tuesday and let her wiggle her way into your heart!

Story
Murphy is a sweet 9-year-old mixed breed whom we adopted as a rescue puppy. She's been a wonderful companion and brings a lot of joy to our home. Now that we're retired, we're spending more time traveling, exploring the US by van. Unfortunately, Murphy isn't comfortable with van travel, so we're looking for a loving home where she'll receive plenty of affection, long walks, and outdoor adventures. Murphy adores being around people and children, and once she gets to know you, she's loyal and loving. She thrives in a peaceful setting and would be happiest as the only dog in the household, soaking up undivided attention and lots of cuddles. She prefers female companionship and can be hesitant with unknown men. She's healthy, weighs about 40 pounds, walks well on a leash, crate-trained, and is housebroken. Murphy would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys nature walks and hikes. We are committed to finding Murphy a family who will provide the loving home she deserves.

We adopted Kiya last spring. She has been trained to bike and walk on leash with little to no pulling. Very good with kids and other indoor animals. Has a very quite demeanor. And very good with other dogs when on leash. The reason we are looking for a new home for her is she need somewhere without chickens. We have continued training on this issue and its a habit hard to break.
