Story
Sunny is a playful and endearing 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd who weighs 33 lbs. He has a friendly, loving spirit and adores spending time with people, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Sunny walks great on leash and makes a wonderful companion for adventures or relaxed outings. He loves to play with other dogs and has experience with both small and large pups—he’s always looking for a friend to run, chase, and play with. His joyful energy and affectionate nature make him a true delight to be around. A meet and greet at the shelter is required to ensure Sunny is a perfect fit for your family and any current pets. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Jess enjoys toys, playing tug with his brother, and finding interesting places to rest his furry body (his current favorite spot is the towel shelf in the puppy room). He is working on crate training and potty training in foster care (and on his modeling portfolio in his spare time). Jess appreciates an older dog who will teach him how to play, but rough playing sends him hiding under the furniture. He is good with kids and loves to be outside, roaming and sniffing around the yard. Jess is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Jess is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Dash enjoys playing tug and getting older dogs to wrestle with him by weaving in and out of their legs. He loves attention and affection and just can't wait to be noticed and touched. He is sweet, playful, and can be a little bolder than his brother. His favorite time of day is mealtime (all three of them!). He is working on kennel training and potty training in foster care.
