Story
BearDog is a very sweet, 4ish year old shepherd mix who needs an assertive owner and someone who is experienced with reactive dogs. While Bear is great with people and adores kids and has never had an issue with my chihuahuas, he is very unpredictably reactive and aggressive to other dogs his size. If it weren’t this we would definitely keep him as he is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pal at home. He responds well to men a loves to play rough and Wrestle. He currently has lots of open space and is easy to train with an invisible fence. He is also trained to skijor and loves snow so it would be ideal to have an active family especially for winter activities as he overheats easily in the summer.

Story
Fluey is a FANTASTIC and very active doggy. Our family is heartbroken to need to find her a new home, but that is what will be best for her and our family. We adopted her from a shelter when she was about 1 year hold and she is 3 now. She has made great behavioral progress and knows many commands now (sit, stay, come, shake, lay down, slow, walk and off are ones we use with her most commonly). She is trained to be both on and off leash and comes on command. She is also trained with a beeper collar for longer off-leash hiking adventures. She is used to hiking and/or jogging 3 to 7 miles per day. The reason we are looking for a new home for her is because our youngest child is not able to give her enough personal space and this stress recently caused her to bite one of our family members. We were shocked and very sad when this happened, but we cannot risk this happening again and so feel it would be safer for Fluey, and everyone involved, if she is rehomed to a family w/out kids.
