Story
Captain is a sweet, affectionate, people-loving dog looking for a stable forever home. I am currently in the military and may be deploying soon. With my schedule getting increasingly busy, I cannot give him the consistent time and attention he deserves long-term. Captain is about 7 years old, healthy, and up to date on all shots. He has a medium energy level, does not bark, and loves affection. He is great with kids and enjoys walks and car rides. He does not tear up the house. Training: crate trained, housebroken, and knows sit, paw, and lay down. Dog friendly: he does well with smaller dogs and has lived with two smaller dogs for the past two years. With dogs his size, he needs a proper introduction. He is not aggressive, he just loves to play and can be overly enthusiastic at first. Captain comes with a crate, 6-inch memory foam bed, food container, bowls, toys, rear-seat cover, and a pet grooming vacuum.

Story
We took her in from an aunt and just have not had the time to break her out of the habits she came with. She’s roughly 4 years and is very loving but needs constant exercise and has a hernia from her umbilical cord. We were told that can be fixed when she gets spayed. At first she is aggressive or barks at people but she warms up to you. Not good with dogs for sure

Story
Needs a loving home. Gets very excited around other dogs. Wants to chase cats. Loves attention. Looking for home that’s willing to work with him. Potty trained. Crate trained. Kind of stubborn. Will chew if left alone. Probably bored. Renter left him. Would love to find him a good safe home. I have dogs and cats so can’t keep him. He can be very sweet! Loves to be with someone!!

We got Peach from an experienced breeder. She is wonderful and full of energy. I would love to find a caring person, someone who will take the time and give her what I cannot. My life is extremely busy and wish I had more time with her.

Story
Meet Trooper, a 1.5 year old bi color German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. He is a young pup with a heart full of enthusiasm and legs that never stop moving. (Also legs that can climb fences so a secure 6 foot fence is a must, a chain link fence will not work for this guy). Trooper is considered a high energy dog who thrives in a busy environment and would benefit from an active family that can keep up with his pace and is experienced with working dog breeds. He is the type of dog who waked up for adventure, whether it's a long hike, a good run or a mentally challenging training session. He learns quickly, bonds deeply and absolutely shines when he has structure and purpose. Because of his drive and zest for life, Trooper will do best with an owner who can give him the tools to effectively channel his energy and intellect in positive ways. He is not a couch potato but he is a dog who will repay your consistency with loyalty, affection and impressive progress. He has been around multiple medium and large size dogs and does well with proper introductions. He has not been around cats of farm animals. Trooper's adoption fee is $250 and he is located in a foster home in Port Orange. If interested in adoption, you can visit our Facebook page for more photos and videos (Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue) and then head on to our website at ddd.dbgsdrescue.org for adoption requirements and steps to proceed. Emails stating "Is he available" and "I'm interested" will not be responded to.

Story
Baby is a bit spoiled. He sleeps on my bed with or without me, requires a biscuit after being outside, and after his meals. He's a great protector, barks only if someone walks near the house or comes to the door, otherwise he's very quiet and sweet. I've had him for 6 years, but my health prevents me from talking good care of him any longer. I would love to see him go to someone who would like a very large lap dog, someone who can love and walk him properly. I don't go out much, but when he's left alone, he's well behaved. When I do have someone stop by the house, once I introduce them, he treats them well, gives them a few licks and sniffs, then retires back to my bed (which he thinks is his bed). Honestly, I'm afraid I might die alone and nobody will be here to take care of Baby.
