Dog’s approximate weight: 50lbs
Animals story: (were found and reason for rehoming): Roscoe is a 7 year old rescue. He’s about 50lbs, healthy, and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. He loves people and other dogs, he’s lived with small and big dogs and plays well. He’ll be just as happy to run around a backyard as he is to lounge on the couch.
He’s affectionate but also likes to find a quiet place in the house to relax. Roscoe has some anxiety around storms/fireworks and finds comfort in his people as well as smaller spaces and crates during times of stress. He's an intelligent, friendly, lively and loving dog.
Our family has made the very difficult decision to rehome him after he has shown us that he’s uncomfortable around our toddler, although we believe Roscoe would be fine with older kids. We’ve worked with a behaviorist for the last 4 months but we hope to find a better, safer situation for everyone by rehoming him with the right family.
