Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 504-812-3730 Dog located in this city: New Smyrna Beach Dog’s Name: Roscoe Dog’s Breed: Mixed Dog’s Age & Sex: 7 years, neutered male Dog’s approximate weight: 50lbs Animals story: (were found and reason for rehoming): Roscoe is a 7 year old rescue. He’s about 50lbs, healthy, and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. He loves people and other dogs, he’s lived with small and big dogs and plays well. He’ll be just as happy to run around a backyard as he is to lounge on the couch. He’s affectionate but also likes to find a quiet place in the house to relax. Roscoe has some anxiety around storms/fireworks and finds comfort in his people as well as smaller spaces and crates during times of stress. He's an intelligent, friendly, lively and loving dog. Our family has made the very difficult decision to rehome him after he has shown us that he’s uncomfortable around our toddler, although we believe Roscoe would be fine with older kids. We’ve worked with a behaviorist for the last 4 months but we hope to find a better, safer situation for everyone by rehoming him with the right family. Personality: Goofy, happy, independent, loving House Trained and/or crate trained? Yes Any bad habits or things that need to be worked on with him/her? Pulls on leash, jumps Dog good with kids, cats, or other dogs? Yes dogs, unsure of cats, NO small kids - anxious/ too boisterous Animals vetting history (neutered/spayed, vaccinations, microchipped)?: neutered, vaccines UTD Any Supplies that go with pet (food, leash, collar, bedding, toys): can send leash, collar, bowl, food IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a leash and collar (if one is not provided) 2) Adoption fee of $50 to ensure a good home 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Drivers License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) Call/text Allison if interested in this pet: 504-812-3730

Story
We are looking for a new home for our dog Jake due to ongoing medical issues with my father who is currently taking care of him. He originally belonged to my brother who passed away suddenly in 2018. He is 8/9 years old and we have had him for the last 8 years. He is very good with children and small dogs. We are unsure how he is with larger dogs and know for sure he does not do well with cats. He is fixed, has a microchip and housebroken. He is up to date on his shots and flea/heartworm medicine. He is a very loving, playful and protective dog. We really want him to go to his forever home and are very sad it can't be with us.
