Story
Ever want a dog you can flip into 'sport mode'? It's me! Pick me! I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. About me: my name is Poe, I am about 2 years old now. I'm a neutered male with a factory tail. To apply to adopt go to lostangelsanimalrescue.org

Story
Chester has had it rough being the longest resident at Animal Services through no fault of his own. He is 6 and no one wanted him. But Chester is 75lbs of love If you love a dog with a great big head that you can cradle in your hands, Chester is the one for you.. Chester is great with children and knows to be gentle with them.He also loves car rides and is ready to adventure whenever you are! Chester is very smart and is currently in training for leash manners, stay, and recall. Chester is a loyal, playful soul. He does not get along with cats and can be dog selective, so he should be the only dog in the home. Chester is neutered, has all shots, is microchipped. Chester has also never had an accident in the house! Chesters adoption fee has been sponsored, so save your money for treats! He also comes with his next 6 months of heartworm prevention. Schedule a meet and greet and you won't be disappointed. He wants to be your bestie!

Meet Petey! He's a little over a year old and full of puppy energy. He loves to roughouse! Petey is neutered, has all shots and is housebroken. Petey is HW+ but started on slow kill treatment. Adopters will be given 1 years worth of low dose heart guard to continue treatment. Just one pill once a month! Also, Petey has never had an accident in the huse!! Petey loves to play with other dogs. He also likes to stream Netflix on the sofa at night, cuddled up to you. Of course Petey is adorable with a personality to match! If you would like to meet Petey, you won't be disappointed. And at only 30 pounds he is a great size for an apartment as long as he gets play time.

Story
This gorgeous boy had a tough start to life—he and his littermates were abandoned by their mother at just 3 weeks old and found huddled under a shed. Since then, we’ve lovingly cared for them, provided training, and made sure they’re healthy, happy, and ready for forever families. Now, this amazing pup is looking for the loving home he truly deserves. He’s healthy, up to date on veterinary care, and won’t need any shots until next year. Vet records and receipts will be provided at adoption. Why you’ll love him: Resilient and loving—he’s overcome a rough beginning and blossomed into a wonderful boy. Healthy, vetted, and ready to join your family. Smart, trainable, and eager to please. Adoption requirements: Because of his breed and energy needs, we cannot adopt him into an apartment. A home with a yard where he can play and thrive is required. Rental homes must show written proof that bully breeds—are allowed. Home checks and landlord/mortgage verification will be completed.

Story
We got him a few years ago from the animal shelter. He is a very good dog that loves to be the center of attention. He is great with other dogs and cats. Unfortunately my husband and I don’t have the time for him anymore since having our son a year ago. We want what’s best for him which we believe would be to a home with older children or adult who would play fetch or tug of war with him and who would take him out on long walks.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sasha – Small, Mighty, and Full of Personality!    Looking for a loyal companion who will be your ride-or-die best friend? Meet Sasha – a 45-pound bulldog mix with a big personality packed into a sturdy, compact frame. She’s looking for a very special home that will understand and appreciate her strong bulldog spirit.  Sasha’s Story & Personality  Sasha is a one-of-a-kind gal with a big heart—and big opinions. She’s selective about her people and her dog friends, and she doesn’t hand out her trust to just anyone. She prefers women and can be wary of men at first, but with patience and time, she can warm up once she feels safe. That said, she is not the kind of dog who wants to meet all your guests — she needs a home where people understand that not every pup enjoys being approached right away.   She’s a vocal little bully, known for making the signature bulldog “yelp-grumble” when she wants attention, wants to go outside, or is just announcing her presence. It’s not exactly a bark—it’s more of a quirky bulldog noise that will make you smile if you’ve heard it before.   Sasha is food-motivated, potty trained, and loves a good walk around the block. She enjoys a routine, quiet environment where she can feel in control of her space and bond deeply with her people.  Sasha’s Ideal Home  Because of her selectiveness and sensitivity to new people, Sasha would do best in:  A female-only home  An adult-only environment with no children A home with no other pets, where she can be the queen of the castle A low-traffic household with few visitors or guests    She’s not the right fit for someone looking for a social dog who wants to greet the whole neighborhood—but she’s absolutely perfect for someone who wants a loyal companion, a walking buddy, and a goofy, vocal, loving best friend.  The Right Person for Sasha  Sasha is looking for a confident, patient, and understanding adopter who sees her for who she is—a strong-willed, loving dog who just needs the right environment to shine. Once she trusts you, her loyalty is unshakable.   If you’re a bulldog lover or a fan of the “underdogs,” Sasha might be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if your home is the forever home she’s been waiting for.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 11, 2026, 7:35 pm
