Story
Luke is a sweet and energetic Plott Hound mix. He loves to run and be out in nature and then relax afterwards. He’s 7 years old, but is sometimes confused for being a puppy cause he’s in such good shape. Once he gets his outdoor playtime in he turns into a real couch potato. He loves treats especially if they’re meaty. He enjoys the finer things in life. He’s a great dog.

Story
COMES W SUPPLIES & HEARTWORM PREVENTIONMeet Ellie! The sweet, sunshine-loving girl!At just a year and a half old, she’s the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate companion. She absolutely loves people and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give her, whether that’s cuddles on the couch, tagging along for daily adventures, or playing fetch in the yard (fair warning… she may not return the ball every time ). She’s been in a loving foster home for the past 9 months after being surrendered as a puppy, and in that time she has learned how to be a dog and grown into a confident, happy girl. She loves to run and play outdoors. Her goofy personality shines through when she’s got a space to roll around in and soak up some rays.Ellie is dog selective, so she’d do best as the only pet or with a well-matched, larger canine companion after proper introductions. She’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to thrive, play, and be loved as much as she loves

Story
This is GiGi, she’s a beautiful mix she’s playful and big and super friendly. We took her from someone that kept her outside all day without any interaction. We had every intention of keeping her, however, she doesn’t get along with our 11 year old pit that we’ve had since 6 weeks old and not through any fault of her own but our original pit doesn’t take to her. We also have a small terrier mix that Gigi gets along with just fine so looks like she doesn’t have to be the only pet in the house. If you’re looking for a loving super playful dog this is her. Not too sure what her mix is.

Story
Hello! My name is Beans and I am 5 years old. My parents rescued me when I was 2 and have had a blast growing and learning with me every day. I was owned by 3 previous owners, some who seemed unkind, but I an full of love to share with everyone. I am a mostly relaxed dog. My favorite place is on my bed (or on yours) and love to spend the night time cuddling. I also love going for walks or just hanging out outside. I am definitely a velcrodog, right now I am 100% my moms shadow, and sometimes this can lead to a bit of anxiety. However, I actually do very well when home alone, it just took a little bit of time for me to get used to it.I would do best in a quiet home as the only child, although I do well with older children. Little ones are a bit stressful. I hope I am the right pick for you!

Story
I found sweet Dee on the side of the road 4 years ago and have been trying to find her a loving home ever since. She is currently staying at my grandpa’s, but he isn’t able to properly care for her. I visit weekly, take her to the park, and care for her, but she deserves a real home with daily love, attention, and activity.Dee is very sweet and loves to snuggle, play, and explore. She has been around other dogs before, but over the past year or two she has become nervous and can get overstimulated due to not being around other dogs (my sister dogs passed onto heaven). She did play with another dog recently at the park and just needs patience and proper introductions. No cats (she will chase them). I think she would do well with kids.I am currently working on leash training with her pulling. She needs someone patient and consistent. I am also open to working with a foster or adopter and can help with walks or support if needed.I got her spayed. I will always be there to support her.

Story
Senior dogs make such great house guests. They are typically more relaxed and already know household rules. If this is the type of dog that might fit in your household, then we believe Hope is for you. Hope is confident on her own but thoroughly enjoys affection from people she trusts and would prefer to be a lap dog. She's an 10-year-old senior black mouth cur who weighs around 53 pounds. Hope enjoys other dogs that have an independent personality, another senior would be ideal. If you think Hope would make a great addition to your family and you own your home in either Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Lake, or Osceola county FL, then please read over our adoption process and fill out an adoption screening form here: https://mettarescuefamily.org/adoptable-dogs   ##1193524##
