Story
Star is a gentle giant with a big heart. She’ll bring great joy and companionship to your home. We’ve enjoyed our time with her but unfortunatley where we are moving to where there isnt nearly enough space for her. She is accustomed to having a big yard to run around in and gets along great with other animals. Star is truly a great dog and will be a great addition to any family she joins.

Story
I’ve had my sweet boy for 9 years. It pains me to say I can no longer take care of him financially. He’s aggressive at the vets at well so even if I had the money it would be difficult to get him seen. He has bleeding elbows and is so sad and in pain all the time and I feel so guilty. I love him so much he deserves better.

Story
Poor Papa was on death row in a kill shelter because he wasn't getting along with other dogs in that high stress environment. He now seems to be able to have friends and enjoys the company of other dogs. Papa is 4 yrs old and weighs about 67 pounds. He looks to be an American Bully and St. Bernard mix. We say that because of his longer, thicker coat. Papa is a big mush of a dog that loves to play and cuddle. He also gives pretty good kisses! Papa is housebroken, UTD on all shots, neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and on regular heartgaurd and flea control. Papa would do well in any family, adults and families with kids. He loves his walks and car rides. He loves to explore new places and meet new people. Papa is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face! If you meet Papa, you will fall in love. He's just "That Guy"

Story
Ever want a dog you can flip into 'sport mode'? It's me! Pick me! I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. About me: my name is Poe, I am about 2 years old now. I'm a neutered male with a factory tail. To apply to adopt go to lostangelsanimalrescue.org

Story
Meet Kenai: The Miracle Puppy Ready for His Forever Home! Kenai is not just any puppy—he’s a true miracle! With a heart overflowing with resilience and love, this little fighter is ready to embark on a beautiful new journey. APPLY HERE: https://linktr.ee/savinglivy Kenai’s story began at the Halifax Humane Society, where he came to us as an emergency bottle feeder after a heartbreaking start in life. Tragically, his mother ate five of the puppies and injured two others. The first of the surviving trio passed away peacefully in his sleep, while the second had to be humanely euthanized due to severe internal injuries from the attack. This was a completely preventable litter, and it serves as a stark reminder of why breeding is discouraged and harmful to our community. Seven innocent puppies had to suffer because of this situation. But Kenai, the last survivor of his litter, defied the odds. He quickly grew stronger in our care, blossoming into a joyful and energetic boy who radiates happiness. Overall, the name Kenai evokes a sense of adventure, nature, and resilience, making it a fitting name for a puppy like Kenai who has overcome so many challenges. Now, Kenai is a healthy, spirited pup looking for a family to call his own. He’s fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, flea treated, and neutered, making him completely prepared to join his forever family. Plus, he’s crate and leash trained, ensuring a smooth transition into his new home. Kenai thrives on love and companionship, so he needs a family that can offer him plenty of both. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for this playful boy, giving him the space to run, play, and explore. To help Kenai continue to grow and thrive, we’ve partnered with a professional trainer who will provide complimentary training support with his adoption, thanks to the generosity of one of our board members. If the training is completed before his adoption, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of his enhanced skills and behavior. Are you ready to open your heart and home to Kenai? He is good with other dogs, cats, kittens, and children, making him a wonderful addition to any family. Apply today to meet this amazing pup and start your journey of love and companionship together! ##2016772##

Story
Sophie was found as a stray very underweight and with skin issues. She can still gain a few pounds, but has turned into an amazing girl. Sophie is between 5-6yrs old and weighs about 38lbs. She is UTD on all shots, microchipped, spayed and on heartworm and flea prevention. Sophie is a special girl who lives part tie with an autistic 7 yr old boy. She is very child and dog friendly. She is happy playing in the yard, or streaming Netflix n the sofa with you. We are still working on housebreaking her, but it should not be very difficult. Sophie has no bad habits, and all the good ones! Gentle and kind, she has no food aggression or toy aggression. Sophies weight should be about 43lbs when she is done gaining. If you would like to know more about Sophie, or see more pics, just contact us. She deserves a forever home with people that will show her the love she craves.
