Good with kids, Good with dogs,
Story
Maggie just turned 1. She loves to play, especially tug of war, but is equally happy curling up on the couch with you. She craves attention and will "talk" to you if she feels ignored. She is very good with kids and dogs, not sure about cats. She will need training and some socialization as she's never been out of our yard. The decision to rehome her was not easy but we feel it's best for everyone. I have severe health problems that leave me immobile most days and my husband works long hours. Just feeding and letting her out to potty is a challenge.

Story
I was picked up as a stray and my owners never reclaimed me. I would do good in an active home that will take me on adventures. I'm a party animal and have a good sense of humor. The staff believes I am really smart so I should be easy to train. I cant wait to have a home to call my own, I would be very devoted to my owner. I know most of my basic commands and walk very good on a leash.

Story
She's such a good girl! She loves toys! And let me tell you she washaving so much fun chasing them, flipping them up in the air and chewing them. She was so OVER THE MOON to be out of the kennel that she thought her dog bed was one giant toy and chewed that up a little too. Of course this was HER day so I may have let her do it ??????. Hey, as long as she was supervised and didn't eat the stuffing! I was planning on getting a new one anyhow ??. Athena has been in a play group before so she's not totally anti dogs but she is selective as many dogs can be! Definitely not a fan of cats. But she LOVES KIDS ??. She has the energy to play, play and play some more. But the great thing is that it's not too much energy. She is great at keeping herself occupied. She had three toys and some treats and she was in heaven. I was able to get all my work done without any distractions. I would basically stop to play with her between projects. She was happy doing her own thing. Athena was really good on the leash and in the car. The only thing she will need work on is being housebroken, but that's easy, especially as smart as she is. Did I happen to mention that she knows "Sit, shake and down"?? She might know more but those were the only tricks I asked her to do. Anyhow, she really needs a good home... wink wink!! And if you aren't in a position to adopt, how about fostering? Give this girl a well deserved break from the four cement walls that are her home ??

Story
Meet this sweet 8 year old girl that keeps getting overlooked. Hear about her from her previous foster mom. Scarlett is back at the shelter now and we are looking for adopter OR another foster home. We really want to help her get her new start in life. ????Words from foster mom: I do have say she would do best in a laidback home with women. When she came to the shelter she had a real fear of men. She's fine with women so who knows what she experienced prior to arriving at the shelter. She did become quite protective of me when she was with us and didn't like to share me with my husband ??. She never got aggressive, but she would let him know that she wanted me to herself. She is extremely loyal and loves affection. She is also great on a leash, potty trained and loves toys. The best person for her would be able to be home with her a lot and able to give her daily exercise. She's older but still loves a walk. After her walk, she is a total snugglebum and has the absolute best "smile" ????. We have a dog and the two of them did great together aside from one argument that my guy started.. lol. Scarlet is a great dog, does really well in public places and enjoys getting out and about.
