Story
Shiloh and her brother Sawyer are looking for a good home. We would like to keep them together but understand that may not be possible. They are 2 years old. We brought them home when they were 8 weeks old. Approximately 6 months later, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sawyer is approximately 80 lbs and Shiloh is approximately 70 lbs. They were trained to a doggy door; however we have had to keep them outside lately. They are very strong. With RA, I do not have good balance and have fallen a few times because of their strength.

Timmi & Tammi are handicapped. Timmi is deaf and blind. Tammi is deaf. They are very bonded to each other. Even though they are handicapped they are very happy, playful puppies. When they are playing they appear to be perfectly normal. They wrestle with each other and play with toys. They are very gentle and easy going. We are not asking for a fee, but a potential adopter will have to fill out our application and have it approved. You will also have to demonstrate that you are capable of caring for these sweet babies for the rest of their lives. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Ashley (ha.evans@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › He's all ears & personality !Meet Archibald Archie is a 2ish mixed breed boy who is living his best life. This does not mean his life or current situation is perfect but from where he came from it’s the best he has had. When I picked up Archie he was on Death Row and he had a clock ticking on his life. It was not his fault. He had come from a hoarding case and the county he grew up in did not have the resources to care for all the dogs that needed help so he was scheduled to be a statistic. I think he knows this but if not I do and it makes our time more enjoyable seeing him grow and learn in a new environment with a second chance at life. Archie is not without flaws but neither am I (per my wife). Archie is doing well  with the other dogs in his foster home. Definitely not with cats. He does show some prey drive with rabbits and squirrels on walks and hikes but not too much more than any other dog his age. Archie can also be a little mouthy and while he does not bite, he likes to play a little rough but he does respond very well to correction when this happens. With that being said he is also a fast learner and has shown great improvement (unlike me per my wife). He is potty trained (his first 2 days were rough but no messes since) and has responded very well to consistent routine and attention. He can sit and stay and is walking much better with his harness. He can be a ball of energy but he tires pretty quickly and then likes to just chill after hikes and walks. Archie is a happy guy who likes to please and does best when he has something to do and loves just hanging out with any human who can give him some attention. If you are looking for a good buddy who will appreciate your love and friendship then please let us now when you would like to meet Mr. Archibald.Applications can be submitted at http://care.rescuegroups.org!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 8:17 pm

Story
Molly is a beautiful pup with lots of love to give! She may take some time to seek attention from new people, but once you're in her fan club, Molly greets with a full-body wiggle. She is generally good with other dogs and would be a great playmate for a young, active pup. She would do best in a home with a fully fenced backyard. Molly needs a home without cats, staff would be happy to schedule an introduction if you have another dog in the home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Chill. Happy. Content.Ralph is a very special boy. He came to CARE seeming to not have had the experience of being an indoor dog - a hard life for such a sweet boy to endure. As it turns out, Ralph loves being an inside dog with soft, snuggly blankets and all the scratches and people to hang out with! Ralph is missing his rear left leg - so he's on the lookout for a home who will give him daily scratches and pets along his left side where he can't reach. :)  Ralph has 2 steps that he can manage in order to go outside, but may have trouble with more. Ralph is a low energy fur baby who is perfectly content with visits outside to do his business and then returning to find a great indoor sunshiny spot on a soft blankie or couch to enjoy his afternoon. He is about 70 pounds and looks like a shepherd / husky mix. We have no history about his past prior to coming to CARE. Since arriving in his foster home and adjusting to the luxury of the indoor life, Ralph is the most loving and gentle creature.  Ralph is neutered, potty trained, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. His adoption fee is $250.  If you are interested in meeting Ralph, the FIRST STEP in CARE's process is to complete the online adoption application through CARE's website at: http://care.rescuegroups.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 8:17 pm
