Story

Woody is your typical German Shepherd. Playful, but always “on duty”. He guards the yard, and protects his family. He’s an extremely loyal dog and we hate to have to re-home our boy but we are relocating to a new state and are unable to bring him along. I purchased this beautiful guy in 2020 as a puppy. He loves being outdoors mostly but as he is getting older he needs to come in at night. He needs space to run, so a person with a large yard/land would be ideal. He loves playing fetch and he loves treats. Ideally I’m looking for an experienced dog owner in this breed who knows how to handle their unique personality. He loves playing in the snow, running through the summer sprinkler and honestly loves to take naps on the porch too. Would be great for a single or married couple who has lots of time to devote and love on him.

He's spent his time at the shelter recovering from some serious injuries, but he has been a real trooper the entire time. He LOVES toys and can leap to the highest of heights to catch his bouncing ball!
