Story
🚨 We can’t believe WINNIE is still looking for her forever home! 🚨 This amazing mama raised her three puppies (all adopted!) and now it’s her turn to be spoiled and loved. 💕 Winnie is a classic terrier — full of spunk, smarts, and hunting instincts! She can catch mice AND birds, loves to run and play, and ends her day snuggled under the blankets with her person. She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. ✅ Great with dogs big and small — she’d love a playful dog buddy ✅ Good with cats (but may chase them off the bed for fun!) 🚫 Not a good match for rabbits, chickens, or small prey animals ✅ Good with horses and cattle ✅ Has done well with kids in foster care ✅ Potty & crate trained (but watch your shoes 👟) Breed: Rat Terrier mix (puppies were DNA tested) Spayed, HW negative, vaccinated, UTD on prevention 17 lbs, short legs + long body = 100% adorable Adoption Fee: $250 https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications

Story
I figured now was a good time to give Holly her own adoption post! If you are looking for a little lap dog, Holly is not the girl for you! 😅 This girl has energy! Holly loves to play play play! She loves a squeaky toy, a ball, or your missing sock. She is extremely food motivated and catches on quickly with the use of training treats. A home that is interested in trick training, agility, or other dogs sports would probably be an amazing fit for her. Holly goes easily into her crate with the use of a treat and is used to eating her meals in there. She will do almost anything for a treat! She will still have the occasional pee accident in her crate if crated for more than a few hours. She sleeps through the night in her crate with no issues. I usually let her out early to potty and then let her get into bed with me until I get up for work. We are working on perfecting her potty training and she is doing well, but with all puppies you can’t expect perfection and she will need continued training in her new home. Holly is fostered with other dogs and cats. She gets along with everyone but does like to chase the cats and give the other dogs more affection than they care for sometimes. She plays well with my 2 year old Chihuahua with a similar energy level. She prefers women and will require a slower introduction to men and children ( over 12 please). Once she is comfortable with you she will want to follow your every move and lick your face off! Her tail is always going a mile a minute and she loves attention. Her perfect home would be able to give her that one on one time she craves and allow a positive outlet for all her energy! Holly is a smart little girl and I know with more time and training she will blossom. $300 adoption fee 6 mo old Spayed , UTD on vaccines and prevention, HW Neg, microchipped https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications

Story
I currently have a purebred black Labrador who is AKC certified. His name is Doodle even though he won't respond to it. He has been around two kids, ages 4 and 2. He runs with them and is very gentle with them when he plays. I'm not certain how he is with cats, since he's never been around one, but he plays well with dogs. He is a very energetic and loving boy who will make a wonderful dog for anyone who welcomes him into their home.

Story
Gianna (G or GiGi) is a 6yo female pitbull. I have had Gianna since she was 6 weeks old. She is potty and crate trained. She loves to play and is very rambunctious and excitable. She not crazy about the water but is good with baths. She wants to be as close as possible and loves attention. She is funny and very intuitive. She's good around other animals and cats and people and can be overwhelming with excitability initially but calms down. She follows commands. And loves food and treats. She is so loving and wants to be near you or her sister Bella all the time, (see Bella's profile for further information). Gianna is active and curious.

Story
Bella is a 6yo female Brindle pitbull. I have had Bella since she was 6 weeks old. She is potty and crate trained. She loves balls and playing fetch. She loves to be carried around like a baby. Always has to be where I am located and wants to be as close as possible. There's not enough space to tell you all about her personality, her likes, dislikes. She has a humanlike personality. She is a protector. She's good around other animals and cats as long as she's introduced to them. She loses interest in them pretty quick and moves on her merry way. She follows commands. She doesn't chew furniture or any household things. She does like socks and will try to take them off your feet. When the cat brings in any "treasures" dead or alive, Bella will take it to her bed and protect it like it's her own baby. Bella is the "Mom" and she likes to correct her sister Gianna (G, Gigi) (see Gianna's profile for further information) when she gets too rambunctious. Bella loves the pool.
