I have had Ivy for around 2 years and I have other pets and she gets very attached and very loving but gets tied to one person, lately she has become territorial with me over my other dog and bit her at one time, my cat also she bit, my 4 month old kitten died as a result of her attack. Also where I'm at now she has to be kenneled 24/7 only out to potty and interact with me and couple other people. She needs time and a special person that can take that time with her to help give her a better quality of life than I can. With my other 2 animals I cant take the risk of something else happening as a result of keeping her. She has had all her shots, been spayed, crate trained and house trained. Our adult son found a stray a while back and started taking care of her. Since then he has had several medical issues arise and he is not able to take care of her. We have small dogs already and they all get along without any issues. Unknown how she is with cats, we have some wild ones in the neighborhood and she doesn't seem to care. She gets along great with our young daughter.

Hello, I am reaching out once again to find a new home for my pit terrier, Ivy Mae. She is 2 and a half years old and has been with me for 2 years. I have been struggling for weeks to determine the best course of action for her. While she is very friendly and good with people, she does not get along with cats and requires more time and financial resources than I can provide for her training and care. I have contacted every shelter and rescue organization I could find, but have not had any success. If I cannot find a suitable home for her soon, I will be faced with the difficult decision of having to put her down, which is something I desperately want to avoid. Currently, I live with several cats, which is not by choice, and I cannot keep Ivy in this environment. She has been confined to a kennel for weeks, only going outside for short bathroom breaks. If you are unable to assist me, please let me know if there is another resource or individual who might be able to help.
