Story
We pulled Hopper (aka Hops) from a Kentucky shelter on 12/31/25 to save him from euthanasia He’s an 11 month old tripod puppy that is super friendly and loves to play. He is still working on basic obedience, but has no issues taking his toy to a dog bed or laying on the couch next to you to chew it. He had his leg removed in November 2025, so he does get a little fatigued as he’s learning to walk and run on 3 legs, but it doesn’t keep him from playing with other dogs or running circles in the yard. He also has a lot of other great qualities, including: ✅ house trained ✅ crate trained ✅ cat friendly ✅ dog friendly (male and female) ✅ people friendly/older children (ages 10+) ✅ no resource guarding ✅ loves attention and giving kisses ✅ leash manners with easy corrections We do ask that he goes to a home without small children as he is easily excited and still learning manners. Hopper is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

Story
Valhalla is an approximately 3–year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix girl that we thought had found her forever home, but unfortunately has made her way back to us after showing that she would be much better suited to life in an only-dog home. Valhalla is a sweet little goof ball with so much personality! She loves to play with her family, and keeps everyone laughing as she appeases everyone’s need for pets and snuggles. She’s definitely people and attention driven, as she is the biggest people pleaser you will ever meet! Valhalla does need to be the only pet in the home. She has shown that her prey drive is too great to be around little dogs or cats, and she is a bit too jealous of even bigger dogs in her space. She is potty trained and crate trained, but does need a secure fenced in yard in her forever home. Unfortunately, we do not have any open foster homes for Valhalla to come back to, so she is having to make her way track to boarding until a foster or adopter can be found. This can be quite challenging, as only-animal homes are very hard to come by. However, we promise if you take a chance on this girl, she will repay the love ten-fold! If you can open your home to foster this girl, you can apply to foster through the link in our bio! Fostering is FREE, as we take care of all food, vetting, crate, collars, leashes, etc. you could need! You just provide the love and the occasional ride to adoption events. If you think this sweet girl would fit in your forever family, you can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt Her adoption fee is fully sponsored!

Story
Meet Newton! 🐾If you’re looking for a best Newton is ready to apply for the job!At around a year old, this handsome guy has never met a stranger. He adores people, gets along great with other dogs, and even enjoys making feline friends. His favorite things include stuffing his toy collection to the brim, going for car rides, curling up on the couch with his people, and finding any excuse to play.Newton’s story started with more challenges than any dog should face. After being left to survive on his own, he grew up with a broken leg that healed on its own. But don’t tell Newton he’s any different—he certainly doesn’t think so! His leg doesn’t slow him down one bit. He happily zooms around, gives the best hugs, hops onto the couch for snuggles, and can even clear a fence. Because of his athleticism, he’ll need a securely fenced yard with at least a 6-foot fence. He’s already crate trained and potty trained, and he’s working hard on his leash manners. Like many young dogs, he can get excited when he spots something interesting on walks, but he’s eager to learn and thrives with positive guidance.Newton is the total package: sweet, resilient, playful, and full of love. Now all he needs is a family to call his own.Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt Newton today!https://www.bluegrassbullyrescue.org/copy-of-adoption... See less

Meet Sea! Looking for a puppy who’s equal parts smart, playful, and adorable? Meet Sea, a handsome little guy from our Salt Litter who’s ready to add some flavor in his forever home!Sea is a quick learner who loves making his people proud. Whether he’s earning treats or soaking up praise, he’s always excited to learn something new. He’s making great progress with potty training. This sweet boy is crate trained and actually enjoys relaxing in his crate when he needs some downtime. He’s also learning leash manners and is picking things up with ease. When it’s playtime, Sea is all in! He loves toys of every kind… although fair warning—he’s a bit of a toy destroyer, so durable toys are definitely his favorite! He enjoys romping around with other dogs but also appreciates having some quiet time to recharge.Sea is great with kids and does well with other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Like any young puppy, he’s still working on a few things, including barking at his reflection or unfamiliar dogs until he realizes they’re friends, not foes.If you’re looking for a fun, intelligent, and affectionate puppy who’s eager to learn and ready to grow alongside his forever family, Sea might just be the perfect match for you! ❤️If you are interested in meeting Sea click the link below:https://www.bluegrassbullyrescue.org/adoption-process

Story
Reese Puff is a great boy!!!He is in his teen age stage right now so he is full of fun play times, hysterical parkour moves outside and silent drives to the store or home. He has loved all other dogs he has met and even appreciates the feline friends that he has made. He is very good in his crate and is completely house trained. He loves walks and going on adventures. As far as toys goes he does enjoy them, the mighty stick is by far his favorite. ❤️ He is not a good fit for a home with kids because of his activity level. And of course every teen has their quicks. He has been working very hard and has made some excellent progress with the help of a trainer!!! He is extremely smart and would love to bond with his new family with his training and gaining confidence with him. So are you looking for a young guy that is as sweet as the cereal he’s named after? What about someone that is happy to have a stick instead of a Gucci bag to chew on? Or maybe you’re looking for an active teen that enjoys his doggy/kitty sibling for a while then is ready to curl up in his crate with his stuffy for nap time? Reese Puff is all that and more!If you are interested in meeting Reese Puff click the link below:https://www.bluegrassbullyrescue.org/adoption-process See less
