Story
Willow is a big-hearted girl with an even bigger personality. She’s a high-energy pup who loves to run, play, and carry her favorite toys everywhere she goes. Whether she’s chasing a ball, squeaking a toy, or zooming around the yard, Willow brings excitement and joy wherever she is. She would do best with an active family who can match her playful spirit and give her plenty of attention, exercise, and love. Willow is affectionate, fun, and full of life. After she burns off her energy, she’s happy to soak up attention and be close to her people. She has so much love to give and is looking for a home where she can be part of the family, continue learning, and have room to play and grow. Willow is ready to bring laughter, chaos, and unconditional love to the right home.

Story
Meet Roxi — a loving, high-energy sweetheart looking for the right forever home. 🐾 Roxi has been part of our family for the past 5 years after coming from a difficult situation. Despite her rough start, she has grown into one of the most affectionate dogs you could ever meet. She absolutely loves people, gives the best hugs, and wants nothing more than to be close to the ones she loves. If you sit down, expect Roxi to be right there beside you soaking up attention and belly rubs. She is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a great fit for a family environment. Roxi is also crate trained and does well with structure and routine. She has a playful, energetic personality and loves to run, play, and be involved in whatever her people are doing. Roxi does struggle with anxiety from her past and can get nervous in new situations. When she becomes anxious or scared, she may have accidents due to incontinence. We have worked very hard on house training over the years.

Story
Zues is a very dear to our hearts and is looking for a special home. Zues is looking for a home where he can be your one and only. He previously lived with older chiildren and other dogs. While he did well with the children, he did not do his best with the other dogs. Zues is scared of people that do not live in the home with him and we are currently working to build his confidence to help in this. He easily warms up to women and with time and effort will come around to men. He has such a lovey personality when given the chance.

Story
Annie at a Glance 5 years old - 65 lbs - Red Heeler - Medium energy - House-trained - Must be an only dog Adoption fee: $50 My name is Annie and I have been patiently waiting at FairyTails Pet Adoptions for my very own forever family. This spring I would love a cozy couch, a soft blanket, and a family who wants me right by their side. One of my FairyTails friends took me home for a little sleepover, and guess what? I was excellent! I played in the yard, came inside and relaxed on the couch with my chew stick, slept through the night uncrated without a peep, and had zero accidents. I even went out to a dog-friendly brewery where I politely accepted treats and charmed everyone I met. I am a medium-energy sweetheart who loves scratches, attention, and being near my people. I need to be an only dog in my new home. I just really love soaking up all the affection and giving it right back. Iff you know a family looking for a loyal best friend, a couch snuggler, and a constant companion, please send them my way. I promise to love them more than anything. 📩 Ready to make Annie’s wish come true? Email ftadopt@gmail.com to request an application or submit an inquiry on Adopt A Pet. Story
🌊🐾 Meet Moana 🐾🌊 The Moana you may know from the movies set sail across the ocean on a journey of courage, discovery, and finding where she belonged. Our Moana’s story began a little differently. She hails from Kentucky, and honestly, we don’t know much about her life before rescue. What we do know is that she and her sister found themselves in need of help through one of our rescue partners. FairyTails stepped in and welcomed three dogs from that situation, including this sweet little girl. At around 2 years old and 20 pounds, Moana is the perfect medium-sized companion. She has a beautiful tan coat, soulful brown eyes, and an adorable black muzzle that gives her a permanently thoughtful expression. Unlike the fearless adventurer she was named after, our Moana is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She’s cautious, reserved, and taking her time getting comfortable in her new surroundings. As a newer arrival, we’re still getting to know her personality, but so far she seems like a girl who would likely prefer being the center of attention as an only dog. Moana isn’t looking for someone to sail across the ocean with her. She’s looking for someone willing to take a chance on a dog whose story is still being written. Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who understands that trust takes time. And let’s be honest… she’s pretty stinking cute. ❤️ If you’re looking for a smaller companion and have room in your heart for a shy girl who deserves a fresh start, Moana may be waiting for you. Apply today and help Moana discover that her greatest adventure is still ahead of her. Email ftadopt@gmail.com to request an application or submit an inquiry on Adopt A Pet. Story
🐾 Meet River 🐾 River is a 9-month-old Shepherd mix weighing about 38 pounds, and what a difference a few months of love, care, and patience can make. When River first came to FairyTails through one of our rescue partners, he had been removed from a neglectful situation in Nicholas County. He was emaciated, weak, and missing much of the fur on his back, tail, and ears. He needed time to heal physically and emotionally while learning that people could be trusted. Today, River is thriving. His beautiful coat has grown back in, he has regained his healthy puppy energy, and he’s blossomed into a happy, active young dog. River has been attending FairyTails K9 Club training classes and is doing very well. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys learning new things, and is at a wonderful age to continue training and bonding with his future family. River would make an excellent companion for an active person or family who enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, taking walks, or simply spending time playing in the yard. He is smart, eager to learn, and ready for his next adventure. Dogs like River remind us why rescue matters. Sometimes they need more than a safe place to land—they need time, consistency, and compassion to become the dogs they were always meant to be. Now River is ready for a family of his own. 📩 Ready to adopt? Email ftadopt@gmail.com to request an application or submit an inquiry on Adopt A Pet. If you don’t receive a response, please check your spam folder or call 859-744-7729. All FairyTails dogs are fully vetted and ready to join their new families. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested, on monthly preventatives, professionally groomed, and loved. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes or in spacious suites at our facility while they wait for their forever homes.
