Story
Sadie unfortunately was attacked, a few years ago, by two other dogs. After a couple of months of intensive medical treatment, including three surgeries, she made a full recovery. She is, however, disfigured; part of her face had to be removed. We think it lends her features some extra character! Now she is a sleek, well-fed, healthy girl who loves to run and play. A bit nervous with strangers, Sadie warms up quickly under a gentle hand. She listens well. Her favorite things include racing around a fenced yard, and chasing a ball. A very sweet and affectionate girl, she does need to be an only pet. Spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper shots, heartworm negative. About 9 years old. 240 522 7416 for more information.

🧡💛Jabbar who is now known as Barney is ready to start his next chapter in life here soon with a forever home! Is that with you? Barney is 4year old 80pd hound/rottie mix. We have had the pleasure of learning so much about this incredible guy the little we have had him. He is a very intelligent boy who isnt hard to please once he has learned to trust you. He's extremely loyal. He already knows cute tricks and commands. He would do best in a quiet home environment with a slower approach. We wouldn't recommend a home with children. He is dog friendly however he is scared of other extra large breed dogs. He's a very quiet boy we have only heard him bark one time in his time here with us. He makes the perfect couch potato. He is house trained he'll even knock on the door when he has to go to the bathroom. He is also leash and muzzle trained. He has extremely well house manners. Can we be left alone in a home and won't touch any food or anything on the counter. He is not crate trained which is okay because it is not needed for him. He will make someone a very nice companion if given the chance. Meet Moose 💕 The Dogo Argentino mix. Moose is the perfect adventure buddy, happy to explore new trails or simply bask in the sunshine. This gentle giant loves a good snuggle session and enjoys his own company with his favorite toys. He's the most loyal companion you could ask for. He walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and knows some basic commands. Crate training has also become second nature for him. Moose would need a home without other pets. He would do best as the only furry friend in the household. Moose respects boundaries and would thrive in a home with older children who understand his needs. Moose takes apoquel daily for allergies. He is being fostered in Annapolis, MD! If you're looking for a loving dog who will be your best friend, Moose could be your perfect match!

Story
Jack ended up at an animal control when his family was evicted. Sadly, his people were unable to reclaim him. A shelter employees reached out to us, asking if we could pull him as he was a special favorite of hers. This dog is the sweetest. He lives being with people, and will shake a toy and do a happy dance when you approach. He seems to be in pretty good health, except that he does have impaired vision and will sometimes bump into things if not supervised. Jack is housetrained and has lived either a puppy. He tested well with a cat here. We've had him vaccinated, heartworm tested, and neutered. 240 522 7416 for information about adopting.
