Story
Meet Charli! Charli is a lively 3-year-old altered female who came to us as an owner surrender because she wasn’t getting along with the other pets in the home. Because of this, we believe Charli would do best as the only pet, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself! This independent girl is full of personality. While she enjoys doing her own thing, she still loves affection and quality time with her humans. Charli has energy for days—she’s a big fan of chasing tennis balls, running around the yard, and showing off her signature zoomies! Charli is still working on her leash manners, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to help her continue her training and learn how to walk politely on a leash. With consistency and love, she’s sure to improve in no time! If you're looking for a fun, active pup with a playful spirit and a little sass, Charli just might be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Magnolia—affectionately known to our staff as “Grandma”! This beautiful 14-year-old unaltered female Lab mix came to us as a stray from Somerset, and she has completely won our hearts ever since. Magnolia is the definition of a gentle soul. She loves being around people and has a calm, comforting presence that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. As an older gal, she spends much of her day curled up on cozy blankets enjoying her well-deserved naps—but don’t let her age fool you! Magnolia still enjoys leisurely strolls and even surprises us with short, joyful bursts of zoomies. She doesn’t seem to mind the company of other dogs, though we do require a meet-and-greet with any dogs already in the home to ensure everyone gets along. We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet, but we’re more than happy to provide a cat test upon request. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow companion with a heart full of love, Magnolia may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Jasmine – Sweet, Shy, and Full of Energy Jasmine is a 4-year-old altered female Great Dane who came to us as a stray after being found roaming in Somerset County. Since arriving, this beautiful girl has been slowly learning to trust and showing us just how affectionate and lovable she really is. Jasmine is a big girl with an even bigger personality. She loves attention and will gently nudge her head under your arm for affection when our staff spend time with her in her kennel. She’s also very treat-motivated, which is a huge help during training sessions! Jasmine is full of energy and will need an active home that can give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Whether it's a long walk, a fun play session, or engaging training activities, this girl thrives when she’s on the move. That said, Jasmine is timid when meeting new people and may need multiple meet-and-greets to feel safe and comfortable. She’ll do best with a patient, experienced adopter who can continue the training and confidence-building our team has already started. . Please keep in mind: Adoption applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. If you’re ready to invest in a sweet, energetic girl who just needs a little help blossoming, Jasmine may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Meet Kamatzu! Age: 2 years | Sex: Male (Altered) Kamtazu is a stunning red boy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! At just 2 years old, he’s the perfect mix of youthful energy and laid-back charm. He absolutely adores his people and lights up the second you grab the leash—he even does a little happy dance to show you just how excited he is for walk time! Kamazu is also a big fan of hugs and cuddles. He’ll happily snuggle up beside you for a cozy nap, making him the perfect couch buddy. Whether it’s going on a fun walk or just lounging around at home, Kamatzu is the ideal balance of active and lazy. He is dog selective, so any potential doggy siblings will need to do a meet and greet first. He tends to favor female dogs over males and does best with slow introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s full of personality and snuggle potential, Kamatzu might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see his happy dance—and cuddly side—for yourself!

Meet Pepper! Pepper is a 10-year-old altered female who came to us with her best friend, Osa. She’s a sensitive, nervous girl who doesn’t always love big changes, so we believe she’ll do best with multiple meet-and-greets to slowly build trust with her forever family. Once Pepper feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. Her favorite word in the world is “walk”—just say it, and you’ll see her do her happy dance with lots of tail wags! She’s also a very smart lady who knows plenty of tricks, including sit, stay, lay down, and shake. On top of that, Pepper is house-trained and has wonderful manners. Pepper is looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. In return, she’ll give you all the love and loyalty of a true best friend.
