We are looking for a new home for him due to some behavioral issues we've been working on.Cotton is:• Treat trained and behaves well with other animals• Fond of walks and gets very excited for his harness• A fan of car rides and loves leaning his head out the window• Affectionate and kind with his peopleCotton has shown some food aggression in the past. While we have largely trained him out of it, he can still feel anxious if other dogs approach him during meals. Because he can be protective, we would prefer a home with older children. Hello everyone, I'm Manny! I'm a unique looking dog with a big personality. I was found camping in the woods on Mann St. but I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm a chow mix that loves to sunbathe, soaking up the summer rays. I'm happiest when I get lots of scratches, snacking on my favorite treats, or just lounging around. I have a small hitch in my step but this happy go lucky boy doesn't let that slow me down. I spent a lot of time alone at first, not sure who to trust. I was covered in ticks and scratches from trying to go it solo for so long. When I needed help the most, the nice people at Cass County Animal Control helped me come out of my shell. They cleaned me up and gave me a nice place to stay until I find my forever family. Since then, I've been able to let my true colors shine. I would love it if you came to visit me, take me for walks, and possibly take me home!

I did have one, but it fell through the cracks, so I’ve been living the shelter life. Although the humans here are great, I would love some permanent ones. I get along with dogs, cats and kids! I know sit and shake, and love to play with a frisbee! I recently went to TSC for an adoption event, and I did amazing with all the new people and places.
