Story
Inuyasha is a male labrador retriever mix. He is very loving and loves when you pet him and loves attention, he is also great with kids. He is five years old and house broken. The reason we need to re house him is because we recently found out that my young son is allergic to him and because of the allergy my son's asthma has gotten worse. My son has asthma and has to be on two types of inhalers and just recently has had a persistent cough. I cannot in good conscience keep exposing him to pet dander even though Inuyasha is the greatest dog. Inuyasha also gets along great with other dogs, he goes to a doggy day care intermittently and gets great reports. We want Inuyasha to go to a loving home with a backyard.

Story
Finny is roughly 6 years old. He is a rescue from family who wasn’t taking proper care of him. He is up to date on shots, fixed, house & leash trained. He doesn’t do well with chicken food. He is on a pure salmon food, otherwise he is perfectly healthy. He does have food aggressive towards other dogs. He tolerates my children. It’s obvious he doesn’t care for them with his growls, barks and running to his crate. He loves car rides, bacon treats and to sleep in bed with me. The ideal home for him would be someone who would be able to let him run within a fenced in backyard, a home without children or other dogs & someone who is home often due to his separation anxiety.

Story
Daisy is nearly 11 and is super loving. I’ve had her since she was about 3-4 and she’s super goofy and sweet. Unfortunately, my living situation has changed and I am unable to keep her. I really want her to go to a good home and she’d be the best as the only pet but does get along with other animals fine. She’s very food motivated and is always very excited to meet new people. She is up to date on all her shots and is fixed.

Story
He is a 7.5-year-old Lab/Great Dane mix (best guess), about 105 lbs, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. He grew up with my kids and has been a huge part of our family. He is a very sweet, loving boy once he trusts you. He absolutely loves his toys and playing, and he enjoys being close to his person. He also does not realize he is not a lap dog. He has allergies and sensitive ears, which I currently manage with loratadine daily. He tends to bond more strongly with women, and he is very protective and territorial of his home and owner. Because of this, he would do best with someone experienced with dogs, in a calm environment, and with slow introductions to new people. He generally does better with larger dogs and would probably not be a good fit for a home with small dogs or cats due to his high prey drive. I will not be charging a rehoming fee. I also have his crate, toys, food, ear cleaner, and allergy medication that will go with him.

Story
Hi I’m Garth! Will you let me lounge in the air conditioning and watch dog videos on TV? On second thought I prefer dogs I can play with! You can watch whatever you’d like. I don’t mind a snuggle but am okay letting my foster mom have the couch, I like to spread out on the floor. I am very social but super respectful of boundaries set by humans of all ages and other dogs, although I do wish they would all play with me. I’ve learned very quickly to wait for permission before leaving the kennel or walking through a door. I can swim but each time has been a failed puppy judgement of where the edge of the pool is, so it wasn’t really my choice. I’m demonstrating marked improvements on understanding house training and only doing my business outside. You might have to tell me twice that something isn’t meant for me to sniff or play with, but I will take the hint then and leave it alone. So far, I only prefer short walks and I’m not very good at picking which side to walk on, but I know I can get better at this too. Everyone keeps thinking I’m disguised as a German Shepherd puppy, but I’m actually an Anatolian Shepherd and Yellow Labrador mix. I was born Feb 21st, 2026, and weighed 19 pounds at my neuter visit on 6/22/26. Contact Paws of Hope at information@pawsofhope.org. I can’t wait to meet my furever family!

Reba's house-training is coming along nicely. She is said to be a mix of Anatolian Shepherd Dog and Yellow Labrador Retriever whose birthday is February 21st, 2026. Reba's weight on 06/22/2026 was 19 pounds.
