Story
Hi, I’m Cookie 🍪 I am a five year old Australian Shepherd. I am bright, athletic, loving, and the best family member. I am the best girl and love people and children of all ages so much, I will smile and wiggle with happiness . I am crate trained even though I don’t need it, utd on vaccinations, spayed, potty trained, respectful of my home and love tennis balls and my bones. My preference is to be the only superstar in the home but with proper introductions, I may enjoy a new friend or two. If you would like to meet me, please contact Forgotten Souls Rescue and Rehab. ❤️❤️❤️

Sugar is available for adoption.... Again. Please only apply if you are serious! I am looking for a foster to adopt home within an hour or so of Sturgis, MI. ❤️ 5 years old, 5 pounds ❤️ Good with dogs, cats and kids ❤️ Potty trained IF you pay attention ❤️ Great in the car She is super friendly and can go anywhere with you. We have taken her to a downtown event and even to a full day of garage sales. She likes to sleep in bed. She was from an Amish family so I would guess she is good with other animals like chickens and horses. ❗❗ She is diabetic but is doing great. She takes insulin shots twice a day. The cost of the insulin and needles is about $80 a month. She will need bloodwork every so often to check to make sure her levels are correct. Each vet has a different coat for this. She takes 0.5 units which is a VERY small amount. Other things to know about a diabetic dog: 1. They eat their meals right after insulin so you can't just have food out for other animals they could get into. 2. Their food is important. She is currently eating science diet which can be bought from most any pet food store including TSC. 3. You do have to watch their activity. They can go low or high with their glucose. Thankfully, we have not had any issues while she has been with me. 4. They can live a long, happy life with a little extra care. Sugar still does need to be spayed and have a dental but she needs to gain another 3-4 pounds before that can happen. So I would like to find a foster to adopt home somewhat local. Sugar is also safe here until that home can be found. We have learned she will bark when left alone and will try to eat a crate so our puppy proof living room is where she stays when we are gone. NO apartment living for her as your neighbors will turn you in for noise 🫣🤦. Otherwise she is quiet and the most perfect girl. I had a lot of people reach out when I first posted her. PLEASE talk to your whole family before applying. Talk to your vet so you are well prepared on adding a diabetic dog to your family. This is a lifetime commitment so please give it some thought ❤️

Story
Estelle is such a HAPPY, HAPPY GIRL! ❤️ Good with dogs ❤️ Good with cats ❤️ Good with kids Sleeps for 10 hours soundly at your feet. LOVES car rides. LOVES relaxing outside. LOVES naps. ❌No apartment living. She will bark sometimes when you are gone. ❗ Will need to take her out consistently and she will do better going out to potty with another dog while you hide and just watch her lol. If you go out with her all she wants is for you to pay attention to her and she forgets what she is doing 🫣🤷. She will make someone a great companion!!❤️🐾 She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, had a full dental and a urinalys. Reach out today about adopting Estelle! Located in Sturgis MI.
