Sadie's requirements ✅ Comfy, warm beds ✅ Nap time at least 4 times a day ✅ Soft food given ✅ Soft pets She really is an easy dog. Her downfall is her last owner never took her outside to potty so she will use potty pads or will need diapers. THIS IS NOT HER FAULT! Could she be potty trained? Probably but I can't guarantee it. She is 12 years old and just wants somewhere to live out her retirement life with no plans and sleeping in. She enjoys sleeping in bed but will take a dog bed if needed.

Tina is an older girl at 10 years old that just wants to sit next to you in the couch or be carried around. She would make an excellent partner for someone who just needs company. She was from a hoarding case and does well with other dogs. She would probably love to live with another small dog. Her past home did not take the dogs out and they used potty pads. In her current foster home she is just using diapers. She was slow to really open up at her current foster home but within a few days she was wagging her tail and pawing for attention. She is getting a dental as her two remaining teeth at unfortunately rotten. So she will be toothless. She is looking for her retirement home!

Kevin says ..1..2..3... READY! Run, run, run. This playful guy has really come out of his shell. Tessa (foster mom) has done a wonderful job with him and he loves her. He would love a family with another dog and one that will give him lots of outside time. He LOVES it. He enjoys just playing, sniffing and watching. He was an Amish dog and living outside is what he is used to. He is crate trained and obviously lives inside at his foster home but we want to be realistic and up front that he still really enjoys his outside time. He isn't going to be a couch buddy right away. Merry is a 13 year-old Bichon-Poodle. I took her in when my dad was no longer able to care for her due to his dementia. She is very loving and smart. For 13, she acts like a puppy! Merry recently had her annual check up and she is in excellent health. We are looking to rehome her because she doesn’t do well with my other pets. Ideally she would be the only pet, where she can be given all the love and attention. She is low activity and would be wonderful for an older adult who needs quiet companionship. I love her dearly but know that she would be a wonderful companion to an older adult who might be lonely.

Story

Rocco is a loving, sweet playful dog with a lot of energy. He just turned a year old about a month ago. He is very protective and territorial. He is very strong. Needs an owner that can give him walks because I am pregnant and my shoulder and wrist is hurt and I cannot give him the attention he needs. He does chew up things and needs an owner that can continue to train him not to do that. It takes a lot of time and energy and with me being pregnant and always sick I cannot keep up with his busy ways. He does great playing with my autistic son and we wish we could keep him but it’s not in the cards for my family. I want him to be able to live his best life not spend a lot of time in his cage because I can’t give him the attention and training he needs. Hoping someone will help us because the thought of bringing him to the animal rescue mission, and then potentially putting him to sleep breaks my heart.
