Story
Hi, I’m Cookie 🍪 I am a five year old Australian Shepherd. I am bright, athletic, loving, and the best family member. I am the best girl and love people and children of all ages so much, I will smile and wiggle with happiness . I am crate trained even though I don’t need it, utd on vaccinations, spayed, potty trained, respectful of my home and love tennis balls and my bones. My preference is to be the only superstar in the home but with proper introductions, I may enjoy a new friend or two. If you would like to meet me, please contact Forgotten Souls Rescue and Rehab. ❤️❤️❤️

Hello Everyone! Our Australian cattle/Australian shepherd is a wonderful dog. His name is Marvel and he’s 7 years old. He’s a beautiful Red Mixed Healer. We do not have the room that he truly deserves. He’s a big lover and loves attention. He does have anxiety and isn’t a fan of walking on a leash but if there’s a yard or rooms he can explore he’d love doing that. Marvel deserves more space to roam and be more free than we currently have for him here with us. We’re looking for someone who will give him the love and attention he deserves/needs. He is a great dog and a good listener. Please feel free to contact me anytime if any questions or concerns. We love him but he just really needs more attention and space than we can provide. I know he’s 7 now but he’s still young and I just want a better life for him! Thank you!

Story
Sugar, our diabetic sweetheart ❤️ ❤️ 5 years old, 6.5 pounds ❤️ Good with dogs, cats and kids ❤️ Potty trained IF you pay attention ❤️ Great in the car She is super friendly and can go anywhere with you. We have taken her to a downtown event and even to a full day of garage sales. She likes to sleep in bed. She was from an Amish family so I would guess she is good with other animals like chickens and horses. ❗❗ She is diabetic but is doing great. She takes insulin shots twice a day. The cost of the insulin and needles is about $80 a month. She will need bloodwork every so often to check to make sure her levels are correct. Each vet has a different cost for this. Other things to know about a diabetic dog: 1. They eat their meals right before insulin so you can't just have food out for other animals they could get into. 2. Their food is important. She is currently eating science diet which can be bought from most any pet food store including TSC. 3. You do have to watch their activity. They can go low or high with their glucose. Thankfully, we have not had any issues while she has been with me. 4. They can live a long, happy life with a little extra care. Sugar was recently just spayed and had a full dental. Sugar is also safe here until that home can be found. We have learned she will bark when left alone and will try to eat a crate so our puppy proof living room is where she stays when we are gone. NO apartment living for her as your neighbors will turn you in for noise 🫣🤦. Otherwise she is quiet and the most perfect girl. I had a lot of people reach out when I first posted her. PLEASE talk to your whole family before applying. Talk to your vet so you are well prepared on adding a diabetic dog to your family. This is a lifetime commitment so please give it some thought ❤️

Story
HELP! Tiger is a pig stuck in a dog's tiny body. He snorts better than those champions at the fair. He would love to win an award of his own someday. He is also up to challenging any grown man for a snoring contest. Ok, in reality he is a 5-year-old Chihuahua that weighs 10 and 1/2 lb and really should be closer to 8 lb. He's looking for an exercise partner and a diet but don't tell him that. The d word is forbidden. He does like his food. He came to me as an owner surrender with another chihuahua. He is good with dogs and cats but prefers a home without kids. They can be scary. He is definitely shy when first meeting but then becomes a lap dog. He just needs to be given a chance or maybe some food lol. Reach out for more information today as he just got here and we're learning more about him everyday.

Story
Welcome Pablo and Nikky! These two seniors came to us after their owner, unfortunately, had to go into assisted living. The whole family is devastated that they had to be surrendered but knew it was what was best for them. Nikky has lived her whole life with her owner so now she is confused about what is happening and is a little slower to trust than Pablo. However ....pull out some treats and bam best friendship level is coming. She also does ok on leash and recently had bloodwork and a dental completed. I am told she loves her naps and while she doesn't mind any of the other animals here she doesn't seek them out to play or cuddle with. She has never been around kids so I'm going to say an adult home would be best for her. She is looking for a family that would give her a little time to settle in and not expect hugs and kisses right away. She is 13 years old and 18 pounds. Please share to find these seniors a forever home. They do not need to be adopted together as they are not a bonded pair. Pablo was added to the family a couple years ago and is now in a separate foster home.

Story
We are looking for the right home for our sweet girl, Dolly. This is not an easy decision, and we really want to find a family and environment where she can thrive. Dolly is a German Shepherd/Malamute × Border Collie/Standard Poodle mix and just turned five on 2/13. She is around 55 pounds and is incredibly sweet, affectionate and generally calm. She loves being petted and spending time with her people, but she also LOVES getting outside to run and chase squirrels! A little about Dolly: ❤️ Very sweet and loves affection 👧 Good with kids 🐾 Can do well with other animals once she becomes familiar with them 🦴 Responds to heel, sit and stay 🏡 Would do best with acreage or plenty of room to run 🐿️ Loves running and chasing squirrels ⛈️ Is afraid of thunderstorms 😊 Can get excited/hyper at times, but settles down well, especially with a treat Dolly would be a wonderful fit for someone with some property who wants a loving dog with room to enjoy being outside.
