Story
Meet Leo! Looking for a big-hearted, big-pawed best friend? Leo is your guy! At 3 years old and a solid 100 pounds of pure love, this handsome hunk is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch!). Leo is full of kisses and adores being around his people. He’s a smart boy who listens well, is completely house-trained, and doesn’t even need a crate. He’s happiest going for car rides, soaking up adventures, or simply lounging by your side. Because of his size and his enthusiasm for life, Leo would do best in a home without other pets and with older kids who can handle his playful energy. Cats? Leo says “no thank you!” If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal, lovable, goofy best friend who will shower you with affection every single day—Leo is the one! Apply today to meet this gentle giant and make him part of your family! If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
Meet Ellie Mae! Ellie Mae is a 4-year-old Plot Hound/Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart to match her big girl size—she’s about 60 pounds of pure happiness! This smart, smiley girl is housebroken, listens very well, and even knows commands like “leave it.” She’s incredibly intelligent and has quite the personality—Ellie Mae is talkative, expressive, and always ready to tell you about her day. Ellie Mae is super lovey and adores humans of all ages. Kids? Love them. Adults? Obsessed. She shows her affection with kisses, cuddles, and her signature happy smile. She also does great with cats and would be perfectly content soaking up all the love in a home with them. When it comes to food and toys, Ellie Mae prefers not to share, so she’d thrive best as the only dog in the home—where she can truly be the center of attention (and honestly, she deserves it ). Overall, Ellie Mae is just a joyful, affectionate, smart girl who wants nothing more than a loving home and a human to call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a sweet soul and a whole lot of love to give, Ellie Mae might be your perfect match If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
This big man is big ball of fur and love.  He will want to be near you seeing what you’re doing all the time.  He is working hard to learn commands and is motivated by treats. He loves his scratches and will never turn away from them.  He likes spending his days lounging on the floor or going outside for playtime. He walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Balto does have an eye condition that makes his eye goopy, but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He is roughly 5 years old and 70lbs. He currently lives with 3 large dogs, 2 cats and 3 kids under 10 and he is great with everyone. At adoption events he enjoys when anyone pets him or shows him attention. Balto is an amazing dog that's ready to find his forever person to spend life with.          If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
Nova is a 2yo female hound mix that was a recent intake from Kentucky, where she had been living outside. Nova is very loyal, loving and affectionate. She just wants to love you and to receive love back After some excitement with dances when she taps her front feet, she is able to calm down quickly and once relaxed she loves belly rubs! she is treat and food motivated. She knows basic commands of sit, shake, and paw. She loves to go outside and run off some energy and then she returns, eager to receive treats and belly rubs. She is potty trained, crate trained and does well with other dogs. She walks well on a leash. She will need continued training so that she doesn't jump up on smaller children when she's excited to greet them. She has showed so much love since she has been here. Nova is ready to find her forever home.  If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
Dont let this face fool you, Rex is a ball of energy. Anything with stuffing in it is his favorite toy. While he does love kids of all sizes, he does not like toys being grabbed from him while he is playing and he has been know to try and snatch a snack or two.  With that in mind, he will be most comfortable with kids that are respectful and give space when needed . He follows his favorite people and would do well in a family where his people spend plenty of time at home or places he can tag along. He is dog friendly and cat curious.  He is housebroken and understands basic commands ( sit, stay) he just doesn’t always listen to them This sweet gorgeous boy is ready for his forever home!
