Story
This guy is just the cutest! Lake is such a lover and a great age at 2.5years! He does great with other male dogs and is currently in a play group with another male dog. Lake has lived with a bunch of children but prefers that they are at least over toddler age so they can understand boundaries. He does fabulous with ages 4 and up. One of his favorite things is just cuddling up with you. He doesn't walk too bad on leash, pulls a bit but not terrible at all. He passed his cat test wonderfully! His adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we'd like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. We can cat test here at the shelter. If you have questions, please email or call us and we'll answer your questions the best we can. Potty training is not guaranteed nor implied. Story
**currently in a foster home, please ask us to meet with her! Lets just say that 1.5yr old Loyalty has her name for a reason! This beautiful girl will give you her heart and soul. She just wants to be with you, cuddle up with you and get snacks from you. She does know sit and shake. Loyalty is what people would call a "pocket pittie". She may be 49 pounds but she is 49 pounds of muscle. This little lady stands very short but is quite stout. She can be pretty dog picky so she would need to have a meet and greet with another dog to know if she's approve. She is currently in a play group with a larger male dog. She likes more submissive dogs. Loyalty has been around goats, chicken, peacocks and feral cats. She was cat tested and passed! Loyalty also met some children and seemed to really love being around them!Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! Story
Man oh man can this guy lay some puppy dog eyes on ya. Meet Kafu our almost 11mos old big lab mix boy. Currently he weighs in at almost 85lbs! Kafu is a big dog lover and loves to just zoom around our yard with his current playmate. He can be a bit nervous at first meeting new people but warms up quickly! He has quite a lot of energy so he will do best in an active lifestyle with another dog. He hasn't met any kids or cats yet but that can easily be done! Adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Story
Meet our beautiful 4.5yr old Miss Willa! She is a big old sweetheart! Willa is still a bit on the thin side but we are working on it! She has tons of energy to spare and would love an active home! Willa hasn't met a lot of dogs but has shown to be a tad picky so we'd need to do an introduction with another dog to see if it is a love match! So far she hasn't met any kids nor been cat tested but both can easily be done! Adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news!
