Story
Pit Bull Terrier Mix, female, ~2 years old, 64 lbs. River is a one of a kind looking dog and has a one of a kind personality to go along with her looks. She is a sweet, loving gal that loves her tummy rubs! Incidental radiographic finding during routine educational radiographs (x-rays) discovered a nonclinical injury to River’s right shoulder. Images revealed arthritic changes and bone remodeling with metallic fragments present to her right shoulder. This discovery is likely from a previous traumatic incident. Therapeutic recommendations target holistic joint support through traditional (dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, anti-inflammatory medications, etc.) and alternative (herbal medicine, laser therapy, acupuncture, etc.) modalities. She is currently being successfully managed with monthly Librela (monoclonal antibody injection) and bi-weekly laser therapy. River has such a positive attitude and does not skip a beat physically or behaviorally. She is an amazing gal! Before adoption, all dogs are spayed or neutered, Heartworm tested and on preventative, vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough), and are microchipped. The adoption fee is $120 For more information about this dog or for an adoption application, please contact Amy at ridgewaterpawsandclaws@gmail.com

Story
Just look at how adorable she is! Meet our cutie patootie River! River is a 2yr old pitbull mix. She came to us from Ridgewater college after working with the vet tech girls so she is used to tons of people and loves everyone! This little lady is adorable with her toys, always likes to be carrying one around with her. River was in a play group at the college with another dog and did wonderful, she just isn`t very good at sharing her toys with other dogs. She met some kids around 4yrs old and up and did amazing! River would prefer a home without cats. She is an absolute lover too and walks well on leash! Adoption fee is $200 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! Story
Calling all large breed lovers! Meet our handsome 10mos old boy Cooper. He is an absolute ham! We currently have him down as a St. Bernard/Cattle dog mix but he has quite the mixture of breeds as we have his DNA test! Currently Cooper is 80lbs of love. Cooper does fabulous with other dogs and is a sweet, playful boy. One key way to his heart is through his stomach with some super yummy treats. He would prefer to live in a home without cats. Coop has been around kids aged 4 and up and did well, just can sometimes be a bit much with them when he`s playing as he`s still a puppy and unaware of his size. Adoption fee is $200 plus tax.
