Story
Mia is a female pit bull mix, she is about 1.5 years old. We are looking to rehome her due to her and our other dog not getting along well and got into a fight. They are both female and our other dog is not fixed so that may be the issue but to be safe I would recommend a home with no other dogs. Mia is spayed and she is house broken. She is a rough player and likes heavy duty toys and bones. She listens well and will stay in the yard with you. She is also really good with children. We really do not want to get rid of her but we do not want the fights between our dogs to escalate. She is up to date on all her shots as well. If you have any questions please let me know!

Story
CROSSPOSTING for another rescue group Meet Mister! This is my new foster boy, Mister. I am fostering him for Tall Tails Rescue and Transport. He’s about 2 years old and when you look up “Velcro dog” in the dictionary, you see his picture. He’s a combination of sweet and silly. He gets along just fine with other little dogs and was uninterested in the cat. His favorite obsessions include: 1. Stealing foster moms shoes. Not chewing them, just moving them to a new location. 2. Scaling walls and jumping leaps and bounds to get to his human. (Again, not destructive, he just has a touch of the Single White Female gene. Obsess much?) 3. Chewing his bully stick. 4. Taste testing every single bowl of food, just a nibble. He’s making sure it’s safe to eat. Mister also appears to be housebroken. He has not peed or pooped or attempted to mark in my home. He is a chihuahua mixed with kangaroo. He would love someone to share EVERYTHING with. If you’re doin it, so is he! A smart boy with so much love to give. Currently in NY but can be adopted anywhere if you’re willing to drive for him. Email talltailstransport@yahoo.com for an application.

Story
9/15/23... Millie is doing much better and her skin issues seem to be under control now. She is on a special food which is inexpensive. Millie may be an older gal, but she is still full of energy and loves to play and hang out with other dogs. 12/19.... Millie is currently on hold until we can figure out her skin issues. Thank you for your patience. Meet beautiful Millie. Millie is a senior who enjoys shorter walks, daily naps in her favorite recliner. She also enjoys helping her foster mom with some gardening although she'd rather sit on the porch and supervise. She really loves women and seems leary of men who wear hats. She will bark when people come to the house. She will continue to bark until she gets the cue from her foster mom that it is ok. She is crate trained and housebroken. The perfect home for Millie would be someone who is home most of the day and can just let her relax and enjoy her senior years. She would also benefit from having another laid back dog in the home. We do not know how she would do with cats. If you are the perfect family for Miss Millie, please submit an application. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, spayed and also received a dental. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335

Story
10/22/23.... Buddy was found as a stray who was never claimed. Buddy had MANY cysts all over his body which needed removed. He had approx 30 in total. All have been surgically removed and Buddy is now healing and doing well. He is up to date on vaccines, has been dewormed, microchipped and neutered. Buddy does well with children.... he is good with other dogs, but would also do great as an only dog. Cats are unknown. An active family with someone home more than not would be the perfect fit for Buddy. Buddy is crate trained although he isn't a huge fan. It would be great if there is someone out there that knows this breed. A fenced in yard is a MUST because Buddy does like to go explore when given the opportunity. There is a chance that another cyst could occur in the future. If you're interested in meeting this handsome boy, please submit an application. All pets currently in the household must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335

Story
Meet Asher.... this little guy and his siblings are 12 weeks old. We assume they were released from the mill, as they do not look like labradoodles, but more like labs. These boys are a very dark choc color; almost black. Asher is your typical puppy.... loves to romp around and play and take naps. He loves other dogs and his foster home has young children also. Asher will be a large boy once fully grown. Remember he is just a puppy, so you will have to train him. His foster family is working on the housebreaking, but puppies get busy and forget. If interested in meeting Asher or one of his siblings, please submit an application. Please note that current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a health issue. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335

Story
This beautiful loving lady is Princess a 5 year old pit/beagle mix. Princess was a owner surrender because of a landlord who just truly never took the chance to get to know princess. Princess was only judged by her name “pit” and honestly princess is the shining example of what the breed stands for. Princess is loving, kind and is honestly the best dog anyone could ask for. Princess barks or whines to go out she doesn’t need a kennel and even walks politely on a leash! Princess is even a HUGE fan of kids of all ages! This lovely lady is also a fan of dogs of all sizes and even cats! There’s really nothing bad about this cute little pint sized pitty. Princess loves to cuddle and play which makes her the perfect family pet! Princess would do well in almost any home as she seems to adjust well with some cuddle time. If you would like to meet this lovely lady, please submit an application. Please note that all current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335
