Story
Shiloh was rescued from a local shelter. She was extremely shy when we pulled her from the shelter and still can be shy when meeting new people or doing new things. She is most comfortable when she knows her surroundings. She is good with calmer, quieter kids and other dogs. She does not tolerate cats. Shiloh loves to cuddle and she's a great kisser! She will do best in a quiet structured environment. Since she doesn't like change, she never has tried to run away! A great dog for someone that works at home and is a couch potato! Story
Rooley was very sick when we first rescued her. She has come a long way! Rooley is a great dog with lots of energy. The boxer in her really comes out when she is playing with other dogs and she "boxes" them with her paws! Rooley loves lots of attention but is also very independent. She loves to go for car rides. She also enjoys long walks. She is good with dogs and kids but not cats. Story
Zeus is usually a pretty mellow guy unless he sees something he wants to chase. He gets along well with dogs he knows but needs slow introductions with new dogs. He is good with kids. Zeus had his back right leg amputated when he was a pup after being hit by a car. His front right paw needs special attention also due to the way it healed. Zeus also has reoccurring bouts with gastritis, so his diet needs to be monitored. Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tula was rescued from a bad situation. She had been tied outside on a heavy chain her entire life. She had been overbred and was pregnant when we got her. Her owner had multiple dogs that were not well cared for and he was going to jail so rescue stepped in and took the dogs. We ended up with Tula. Unfortunately, we did not know at the time that she was dog aggressive. She does love people though and can be a bit protective. She listens well and loves a good tummy rub. She is good off leash and likes to go for walks. She does get overly excited at times and jumps up. We do not know how she is with cats. Details

Story
"There is a gentleness in her eyes that I see. I hate to see healthy, non-aggressive animals euthanized". That was the email we received about weeks ago in regards to Eleanor. She was on her last day and no other rescue had stepped up to take her. We were really her last chance. 1 week later, and here she is with us. We named her after the finest car in "Gone in 60 Seconds". And, truly, if she got off her leash, she would be gone in about 0.6 seconds! Eleanor is painfully shy and scared but lets us love on her and doesn't try to get away. She does well in a crate. She needs work..lots of it, but in her eyes, we see hope too. She is not currently for adoption but can be sent to an experienced foster home. Reach out to us via email if you are interested in fostering Eleanor. She is a diamond in the rough.

Story
Meet McGee. We rescued this boy right before he was scheduled to be euthanized. He is such a sweet, loving boy that just needs some attention and training. He is doing great since he's been with us. He is now crate trained and walks well on and off leash. He is nearly housebroken (with a doggie door). McGee loves the other dogs here and is slightly submissive. He is also non reactive to the cat when on a leash. If you are interested in learning more about McGee, please let us know.
