SPECIAL ADOPTION FEE – Open to Foster-to-Adopt!*Located in St. CatharinesMeet Bea – Your Beautiful New Best Friend!Hi there! I’m Bea — short for bea-utiful, and trust me, my charm goes way beyond my name.If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who’s always ready for snuggles, adventures, and a little bit of silliness, then I might be the perfect pup for you! I’m a people-loving girl who thrives on human connection. I prefer to be your one-and-only furry friend — more love for me, more cuddles for you!I may be hearing impaired, but I make up for it with a big heart, a super sniffer, and a hilarious collection of sounds that will keep you laughing. I’m not shy about expressing myself! Because of my chatty personality, I’d be happiest in a home with space to be myself — so something other than apartment life would be ideal. One of the coolest things about me? I’m learning American Sign Language! My foster mom has been teaching me hand signals, and I’ve been picking them up like a pro. I love learning new things and showing off my skills.I do best in calm, predictable environments and appreciate a little time to settle into new routines. But once I feel safe, I’m all in — loyal, loving, and endlessly devoted. I enjoy the great outdoors (bug-chasing is a passion of mine!), and when we’re done exploring, I’ll be right next to you for a cozy nap.I’ll thrive in a home where I’m not left alone too often — I just love being with my people so much. With a bit of patience and lots of love, I’ll show you just how special I am.Ready to fall in love? I know I am. Let’s meet and see if we’re meant to be!Click “Adopt” and let’s start our happily ever after. 🐾With love,BeaXO

Story
Ruthie’s Ideal Home 💛Ruthie is an affectionate, smart, and playful 8-year-old girl who is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to thrive at her own pace. Once she feels safe and settled, Ruthie becomes an incredibly loyal cuddle companion with lots of personality and love to give.Best Home Match for RuthieA suburban or rural home where life is a little quieter and less overwhelming. She enjoys backyard time, sunshine, and long walks or hikes.A detached home with a fenced yard would be ideal, though she has adjusted well to condo living with patient guidance and careful management around other dogs.A family with teenagers, adults, or semi-active seniors who can offer her companionship, cuddles, structure, and daily walks.A moderately active household — Ruthie loves adventures and playtime, but she’s equally happy curling up for a long nap afterward.Someone patient and consistent who will continue using positive reinforcement and help her build confidence in new situations.A home where she can be the only pet. Ruthie prefers having all the attention to herself and feels most comfortable without other animals around.People who appreciate affection and companionship. Ruthie loves being close to her humans and will happily snooze beside you after a fun day.Ruthie’s Favourite ThingsLong walks and hikesCar ridesCuddles and couch napsLick mats, chew toys, and ballsLiver treats, cheese, cucumbers, and applesLearning new tricks (especially when treats are involved!)What Would Not Be a Good FitHomes with other dogs, cats, or small petsBusy households with young children, as Ruthie can become overstimulated and likes her personal cuddle timeFamilies wanting to frequent dog parks or highly social dog environmentsVery busy downtown/city lifestyles without time for a slow adjustment periodHomes looking for a low-interaction dog — Ruthie thrives on love, routine, and companionshipA Few Things to KnowRuthie is fully house trained, sleeps well through the night, and does great when left alone during the workday. She’s eager to please, food motivated, and responds beautifully to reassurance and consistency. While she may need a little time to decompress in a new environment, once she settles in, her goofy, loving personality truly shines.Ruthie is looking for someone who will give her the perfect balance of structure, patience, adventure, and snuggles — and in return, she’ll give you endless loyalty and love.* Located in Brantford.

Story
***COMING SOON***Hi! I'm Gio, a French Bulldog mix that came in as a stray so my background is unknown. Despite this, I love my people! I would snuggle and give them kisses all day if given the chance. Sometimes I may love them a little too much I guess because I've started protecting them and sometimes defend them even when the threat isn't real. I need some help learning that there really usually isn't any danger and most people are friends! Because of this, it's probably also best if I'm the only animal in the house. I tend to misunderstand their intentions too.I've come a long way with house training, and for the most part I do my business outside, but if you aren't paying attention and letting me out enough, I might have an accident still without warning.I sleep well in my crate or chill in there if I need a break, as long as I know you are nearby. If you leave me alone, I get some anxiety in my crate and usually end up barking excessively or having an accident in there. I would love it best if someone was home with me most of the time. I'll do best with someone who can really help me overcome my overly protective behaviors, and help me be the best I can be with lots of training, patience and love. I can't wait to meet you!*Located in Whitby
