Story
Lucy came to us three weeks ago she is four years old. We adopted her as a companion for our Pyreedoodle. She came from an older couple that purchased her from a breeder in Ohio. Due to severe health issues they had to rehome her. Once she settled in we discovered that she does not care for our dog. Lucy is low energy our dog is the opposite. She is very well trained, walks great in a leash. She is guarded when she meets new people but warms up quickly currently a dog trainer is working with her on socializing her more. She would do best in a quieter home with no other dogs. We will be very involved with confirming that her new home will be great. We love her and would keep her if she got along better with our dog. She is UTD on all her shots and has been seen by our vet to confirm she is in good health. As she is a doodle she will require grooming about every two months and regular brushing. Lucy has begun training and is learning crate training and is doing great!

Story
Maggie has been the best dog. Maggie is a Lab Pit mix. She just turned 3 years old. She loves her family but would do better with a family with older kids and no other dogs. She has become very aggressive towards other dogs. She currently lives with our 14 year old dog but outside of him, Maggie is not a fan. Maggie is fully potty trained, cage trained. Up to date on all shots. Spayed. She is great snuggle buddy : )

Story
Midas is almost two. He is a loving dog. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He is very playful and friendly. He loves people and kids. Especially babies he protects them but in a genuine gentle way. He is house broken. He was given to my oldest after his grandmother passed. I would love to keep him but our apartment complex has an issue with his breed. He needs a loving home and more space. We would love for him to have a home with a yard to run and someone who is willing to train him. He is very smart just needs someone who can take up time with him. I feel like I’m losing a child but I know this is what is best for him to reach his full potential. If we could get updates of his progress that would be greatly appreciated as well. Midas gives so much to anyone he comes in contact with and likes to be called piggy!

Norwegian Elkhound Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Female, Puppy
Chesterfield, MI
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
having to look into rehoming my elkhound shepherd Eevee. She is very loved. goofy, and energetic. She does well with older kids, okay with cats and other dogs (she is definitely an alpha personality), but not with little kids. We have spent a lot of the last 6 months trying to train her to be better around my toddler. She gets let outside a lot with our other dog and she is a vocal breed like most elkhound shepherds. She is crate trained, leash trained, food motivated. Once she’s bonded to you, she will love to listen to you. She also loves belly rubs and walks. She needs a fenced yard and someone with the time and want to care for her. This choice is not an easy one so we want to know her next home will be her forever home with someone that loves and cares about her. You will also want to read up on Elkhound Shepherds if you are not familiar with the breed. She’s vocal and would do great with enrichment activities and exercise.
