Story
Ashlynn was rescued from a shelter near Detroit Michigan in May 2025. She quickly learned sit, stay and lay, along with learning how to walk on a leash/harness. She loves cuddles and playing with her toys. She doesnt bark excessively and loves to watch you cook but knows to sit still while doing so. Due to work schedules shifting dramatically we can no longer keep her due to the hours she'd spend alone. She takes time to warm to new animal friends and would be best suited as a solo dog fur baby. We've not interacted her with cats yet. She enjoys being outside and is sometimes shy trying new things but with a little encouragement she jumps right in. We're willing to meet at a park for you to meet and will provide the following: Any food remaining Leashes and harness Dog poo bags All her toys All her blankets and pillows Any treats remaining She is crate trained but ours broke so she hasn't been using it.

We're moving into an apartment and large dogs aren't allowed. Popo has been with me for the last 5 years; kind of dropped into my lap and abandoned. He gets along with everyone and loves attention. He's got a mean bark but he's never been aggressive towards anyone or anything

Story
Axle and Zeppelin are both purebred yorkies from a breeder in Michigan. Axle is 8 and Zeppelin is 6. Axle’s litter mate is Zeppelin’s mom, so we always call Axle the uncle. These are two very loving yorkies who are pad trained for indoors but will also go potty outside if taken on walks often. They eat a prescription low fat food and cannot eat treats. They have had some tummy issues and anxiety as yorkies tend to do but have gotten worse after we brought home our new baby. We feel these yorkies need to be in a home with lots of attention on them but with that being said, they have been great with kids. We are looking for someone who can take both of them and give them the love and attention they need and deserve. We never thought we would rehome them, but as our family grows, it is proving to be too much and I don’t feel it’s fair for them to not have as much attention and care anymore.

Ollie is a loving, playful, cuddle bug of a best friend. He’s an 8 year old pit/lab mix that has been in the care of his owner for 5 years. Ollie is good with cats and other dogs. Ollie is overall in good health! 2 years ago Ollie tore both rear ACLs but had TPLO surgery followed by 6 months of hydrotherapy physic therapy. He can do anything and everything a normal dog can. Ollie loves to be your best friend. He will often tag along as you roam around the house with a toy in his mouth and a wagging tail, just happy to be a part of your life.

Story
Meet Dots — proof that spots = personality.Dots is a young female pointer mix with a gorgeous dark chocolate and white coat, generously sprinkled with spots like a very energetic cookie. She has endless energy, zero chill, and an absolute love for playing with other dogs. If there’s a game of chase happening, Dots is already winning it.She’s playful, curious, and currently living her best life with no concept of manners or commands (yet!). Dots will definitely need training, but she’s smart, enthusiastic, and ready to learn—she just hasn’t read the rulebook so far. With consistency, structure, and exercise, she’s going to shine.Dots will need a home with a secure fenced yard where she can safely zoom, explore, and burn off that turbo-powered energy. Because she’s high-energy and still figuring out her impulse control, we recommend older kids who can keep up with her enthusiasm. No cats, please—Dots thinks everyone wants to play at full speed, and that’s a bit much for feline friends. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active, laughing, and maybe enrolling in a training class or two, Dots is ready to spot her way right into your heart! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED.
