Story

Luna Lovely Luna is a beautiful unique cinnamon rough coat spayed female weighing 42lbs and between 1-2 years old. This petit girl is one of the most affectionate chows we’ve ever had in rescue. She loves attention from her people but isn’t demanding.  She would be content to sit close by you while you watch TV or read a book.  Luna was bought to be a breeding bitch but surrendered to a shelter when her owner became disabled. She was scheduled to be euthanize on a Monday, Merlin’s Hope stepped in just in time to save this sweet soul. Luna is a happy calm girl who is housebroken, quiet, healthy, and takes treats gently. She trots along on her walks but barely pulls….unless she sees a squirrel! Meeting fellow canines on a walk is a bonus. Everyone is her friend. She will need a special adopter who will be patient with her as she’s leary of people. Once she trust you, she will literally push herself into your arms for a hug. Luna will make someone a loyal companion. Luna was also a really good girl at the vet! Good with cats! Cindy Cindy is an approximately 3 year old spay, rough coat red female weighing about 55lbs.  She was a very neglected looking stray, picked up by Animal Services and quickly treated for a urinary track infection. Smurf was eager to impress us with a few commands like sit, paw and down. She is very treat motivated. She keeps her kennel clean and is happy to get any form of attention. If you have a stable loving home and would enjoy going for regular walks for exercise, please consider a furry friend to join you. ADOPTED! Located in Nova Scotia - Curtesy Post  ADOPTION PENDING…Peanut is a gorgeous blue rough coat spayed 4 year old female weighing 50lbs. She is a delightful girl who would love to sit and chat with you, or at least listen! She’s happy to go for nice leisure walks and has good leash manners, so walks are quite enjoyable. She also knows her basic commands and is crate trained, she’s clean in the house and non-destructive.  Peanut would rather your attention over toys or possibly a handsome boy to have fun with. Located in Nova Scotia - Curtesy Post  Saki is a beautiful light red rough coat spayed female weighing 60lbs and approximately 5.5 years old. She has good leash manners, knows her basic obedience and is a calm quiet gal.  This lovely girl is being rehome because she has zero tolerance with her two sisters and will do anything to be the only fur baby to get all the attention…She definitely enjoys attention and entertaining herself with her toys.  If you have a loving home with no other pets, or small children and are interested in a gorgeous companion, please contact Gabi for more details.  Saski is up to date with vaccinations, has no known health issues on file and located in Nova Scotia.  We are willing to travel if it means getting this beautiful girl in the right home.
