Story
Porter is a sweet ,sweet dog and does not have a mean bone in his body! I adopted Porter about a year and a half ago when he was 7. mos. old. The individual that I adopted him from was just going through a divorce and really did not have time to train him. He will go on a puppy pad and has occasional accidents in his kennels. He usually goes in the house at least two to three times a week and I have tried every method I know of to break him. I take him out every two to three hours but sometimes that does not work and he has an accident. I am no stranger to dogs and I raised Miniature Dachshunds for ten years. I have tried dozens of things with him. I think what will help Porter is for him to be in an active home that has children and folks who are willing to take him on daily walks. He is great with other dogs and he travels well in the car. He is also well behaved at the groomers and gets groomed every six weeks.

Oden is a confident, affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is well-trained, eats without any issues, and thrives on structure and consistency. Oden is very friendly with people and has a special soft spot for male humans, he bonds deeply and loves attention and companionship. He would do best as the only dog in the household, where he can be the center of attention, as he has a naturally dominant personality. Oden is an intelligent, driven dog who needs regular mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced, and he truly shines with an active owner. He makes a great running companion and enjoys having a job, routine, or purpose. In the right home, Oden will be an incredibly loyal, loving partner who forms a strong, devoted bond with his person.

Story
Buddy is a very nice easy going dog. He is around 8.5 yrs. old. He loves his food & walks or running around outside. Although he would be considered a mutt he 100% acts like a lab! Not aggressive in any way. I met him a year ago in a kill shelter & took him out of there with the intention of getting him a home because due to overcrowding they were going to euthanize him. 2 of my sons & I have allergies so I will not be able to keep him however I want him to go to someone that will love him & take care of him. He's very easy going I want to stress that. Can be left to go to work with no problem. Barks only if someone is approaching the property. If you think you may be interested & would like to meet him please let me know.

Story
Teddy is a 9 year old beagle/hound mix who needs a loving home with some land and someone with experience with his breed this won’t dump him outside. I was not aware when we adopted him he was previously a deer hunting dog raised in a kennel, the shelter we adopted him from left that out and they knew because he was an owner surrender due to neglect. This has made house breaking him difficult because he just doesn’t know to let you know he needs to go outside. He loves to track! He’s a very loving sweet boy that needs a home to live out his golden years! He MUST stay on heart worm preventative, he has previously had heart worms 2x and cannot be treated again. My other senior dog is having medical issues and the expenses are too much with her medications and vet visits plus his heart worm prevention and I don’t have the ability to provide the same care as I did when we brought him into our home. I don’t want to send him to a shelter and will keep him until the right home is found!

Ranger is a 1-year-old hound mix with a gentle, sensitive nature. He weighs 42 lbs and tends to be a little shy at first, but with some patience, his sweet personality starts to shine. Ranger would do best in a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace and feel safe as he gains confidence.December 29, 2025, 1:18 pm
