Story
Meet Bruce O’Hooligan — the survivor, the sweetheart, the legend. Bruce’s story started at the tail end of 2023, when he came into the world alongside a litter of puppies. Life threw him his first curveball early: Parvo. He was the only one of his litter tough enough to beat it, proving from the start that his heart was as big as his bark. After his victory, Bruce spent nearly two months in isolation — not because he wanted to, but because the kennels were full and his immune system needed time to bounce back. When he finally broke free from quarantine, Bruce landed at Renegade Paws Rescue, and that’s where fate stepped in — I had the privilege of fostering him. At just ten months old, Bruce had already earned his stripes as a fighter, but what stood out even more was his goofy, loving, and endlessly forgiving spirit. He found his first family in May of 2024, sharing his days with six cats (yes, six!) and proving that his friendly nature extended to both feline and human roommates. But Bruce’s road wasn’t finished. In March 2025, he found his way back to me — still the same happy, wiggly boy, but this time carrying the weight of heartworms and nursing a torn ACL. It was just another challenge for a dog who’d already stared down Parvo and won. He faced surgery and recovery the only way Bruce knows how: with quiet strength, patience, and a tail that somehow never stops wagging. Once he’s back on his feet, Bruce will be ready to hit the ground running — literally. He loves to bounce, run, and make friends everywhere he goes. He’s cat-friendly, kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and just plain friendly. He knows his basic commands, walks well on a leash, settles into his crate, and proves every day that the best dogs aren’t just the ones who’ve had it easy — they’re the ones who never give up. Bruce O’Hooligan has survived the worst and still leads with love. All he’s waiting for now is the next chapter — and a family who sees just how special he is.

Story
Meet Baby Bean – Your At-Home Ride or Die Baby Bean isn’t trying to be the neighborhood greeter. He’s not looking for a life of patios, brewery runs, or leash walks at the park. What he wants—what he thrives on—is stability, safety, and a person of his own. At home, Baby Bean is easy. He’s affectionate, goofy, and fully trusting with his person. You can bathe him, dress him in a sweater, snuggle him like a teddy bear—he’s all in. He’s crate trained, has a steady routine, and settles beautifully in the house. He plays great with other dogs in a structured setting—his style is rough-and-rowdy but submissive, and he does well with confident playmates. Outside the home, though? That’s where things get tricky. He’s leash reactive and wary of strangers. He doesn’t want people rushing up to him, and he’s not a dog who’s going to enjoy crowded places or busy neighborhoods. He’s not a “take anywhere” kind of dog—but he’s absolutely a “take care of you” kind of dog. The kind who bonds deeply, loves hard, and wants nothing more than to be your couch companion and playmate in the backyard. Baby Bean is about 50 lbs, medium energy, dog-social, and best suited for a calm, consistent home with someone who understands that a good dog doesn’t have to like everyone—they just have to be right for you.

Story
Looking for a homebody to watch your favorite shows with? Meet Grayson! This handsome, sweet and snuggly boy is smart, eager to please and never fails to entertain with his cuteness and charming personality. Grayson is potty trained and loves his crate. He will happily go in on command and even goes in on his own when he knows it's time to eat. As a very smart boy and treat aficionado, he already knows an impressive list of commands and easily picks up on new ones. Have other dogs in your life? Grayson's becomes quick besties with almost every pup he meets. Cats? He's really only met the neighborhood street cat and was quite gentle! Now, what about humans? He adores those close to him, but as a boy who lived in a crate for the first 6 months of his life with minimal interaction, it takes some time for him to warm up. Be ready pay a hefty cheese and hot dog tax as he gets to know you! If you're looking for a best boy who will make you laugh and keep your lap warm on cool nights, Grayson's your guy!

Story
Meet Leo! This bouncy boy is all heart (and legs that boing like springs). With big floppy ears and an even bigger personality, Leo is playful, curious, and always ready for a zoomie session. After playing he crashes hard—think full on snuggle mode and dreaming of treats. Speaking of treats… food is his love language. His foster family calls him “Little Leo,” but his charm is anything but little. He loves kids, is dog-friendly, crate trained, and potty trained—a total catch! He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s all tail wags, cuddles, and goofy antics. Leo’s looking for a forever home where he can be his sweet, loveable, silly self and be your best friend! He would love to be the center of attention, or have a furry friend to romp around with.
