Story
Poppy is a young female terrier mix with a vet's estimated date of birth as 12/17/2019.  This girl is housetrained, crate trained, up to date on shots/vaccines.  She is loving and playful but is usually calm.  She is not a barker unless someone comes to the door or hears people outside the fence.  She is not a lap dog. She is crate trained.  She has only had limited experience with other dogs at the foster's house. The neighbor has a 5-pound dog that she was very fearful of; however, she stayed with another foster for a period while the foster was on vacation, and Poppy did well with her calm lab. She is good with cats and currently living with 4 of them!  She is very fearful of men.  Will bark and tries to get as far away from them as possible.  She usually ends up going into her crate, which is her safe spot.  She is not aggressive at all, just scared.  It takes her a few minutes to warm up to new women, but she trusts them over men. Poppy has received Heartworm treatman and is now negative! If interested in Poppy please flll out the adopition appliacton on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt ##1130158##

Story
Diego is the sweetest little pup looking for his forever home. Diego and his brother Cruz were dumped by their owner on the side of a busy road and they are ready for a fresh start! Diego is doing great in his foster home, loving attention and playing with his brother. We think these brothers may be Lab/Shepherd mixes and will most likely be large dogs. At roughly 9 weeks old they are weighing in over 10lbs. Diego would love an active family with a fenced backyard for him to safely run and play in. If you think this sweet boy would make a great addition to your family, then please fill out the adoption application on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt  ##1982726##

Story
Meet the sweet Reba! Reba is roughly 2yrs old, spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. We’re not sure what mix breed she is, maybe a Lab/Vizsla mix. maybe Puggle mix? Reba has a fun-loving spirit and loves everyone she meets. She is a very loving dog and shows you how much she loves you daily. She is crate trained, potty trained and is a total lap dog! Reba weighs 24lbs so if you are looking for a lap dog, she’s your girl! Reba gets along with other dogs; we would probably say no cats though. Reba absolutely loves her walks, would make a great hiking partner, and would love an active family. Because Reba is still young, she has some energy to burn, so a fenced in back yard would be great for her! She is a super chewer with deer and elk antlers (she doesn’t chew on anything else). She loves them and chews on them several times a day! If you are interested in this sweet girl, please fill out the adoption application on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt ##1944406##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- She's truly the perfect size for most homes. She's small enough that you can easily pick her up - 35 lbs. (and she doesn't mind being picked up when you need to do it), but has a "big dog" personality (not yappy or nervous at all).Basic Information:- house-trained- crate-trained (but doesn't NEED to be in a crate - she's perfectly safe when left loose in the house)- peppy when she's outside, but calm inside the house- snuggly - loves to sit on your lap- playful - giver her a good toy and she's happy for a long time (heck, she's even happy to chase her tail if she's got no toys around)- adorable - her little tongue is too big for her mouth, so about an inch of the tip often hangs out; extremely cute- would love to get on the furniture, but doesn't mind when you say no (i.e., she listens to you)- food-driven, so she's good at training, but not so food-driven that she tries to get the food off your plate (see above she listens well)- only barks when she hears the doorbell or noises outside (in other words, not a nervous dog that barks at everything)- independent - she is not needy in the least; at the same time, she's loving and excited to see you/be with you when you come homeLayla will do well with a house without children and will need a compatibility test with another dog. She gets along well with some and not so well with others. If you are interested in adopting Layla, please visit www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.com/adopt. ##973536##
