Story
Carmella, smiley, happy and a tail that doesn’t stop wagging. She is sweet and friendly. She was very happy to be out in the sun and grass, met other dogs well but was more interested in having some people time. Carmella loves attention from people and is eager to interact to get some love. Currently in a foster home, she is crate trained and housebroken. She loves to play outside. She enjoys her toys. She doesn't bark very often at all except when she gets excited while playing or when her foster arrives home from work. She is good on leash. She rides good in the car. No cats please; she's too curious about them. While her current foster home has no other pets, Carmella does like other dogs. Laid-back dogs with spurts of playful energy that like to bask in the sun are Carmella's speed. Carmella loves attention and absolutely adores her humans. She will often choose to sit by her human to get belly rubs rather than running and playing with other dogs.

Story
Destiny has blossomed in foster care where she has learned crate training and routines. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and welcomes new 4 legged friends. Destiny arrived at the animal shelter with a skin issue, so she was kenneled in quarantine. She missed out on socialization as a puppy. She will warm up quickly and adjust with someone experienced with fear based dogs. She now sports a glossy black/tan coat and is a very sweet, coy girl.

😍Hey y’all I’m SKULLY, a 2-3 year old, 45lb, heart worm negative terrier mix looking for my forever home. I like to play with other dogs, enjoy hanging out with kids, am a good car traveller and I walk pretty good on a leash. I got to go out and about Hartsville during the Paws Around the Pee Dee ♥️ Palentine event and ejoyed every minute of my adventure! I got to go on a nice long walk at Kalmia Gardens, stopped and got some treats at Purrs McBarken and was loved on by my 11 year old pal. My handler friends said I’m sweet, attentive and curious. Won’t you ask for me, Skully? I’m waiting for you in Hartsville SC, please ask for me today!

She is an awesome dog! Lori arrived in November with friend Carl, both found as strays and cared for by a Good Samaritan. Lori is the sweetest dog, she loves to play with doggy friends, great in reading other dogs play styles. She’s affectionate, kissy and loves to engage with her human friends. Lori did great with kids she met during a birthday party held at the shelter last week, she was gentle when accepting peanut butter from them. She walks well on a leash and was a good girl while in a temporary cold weather foster home this winter. She’s such a happy, fun girl. Ask for her please!

Mr Chill, Roscoe gets along nicely with other dogs, happy to mix and mingle. Roscoe loves attention from his person, and will happily accept all the butt scratches and pets you can give him. He was great on his Paws Around The Pee Dee Palentines Day adventure, showing off his excellent leash skills and gentle nature. He was great with the kids, and riding in the car. He did not jump nor bark, he’s just a calm, loving, laid back boy who would make a lower energy great companion. Roscoe is your boy if you enjoy slower walks, to stop and savor life and then cuddle up on the couch with you. NO CATS FOR ROSCOE. Ask for him now!
