Story
Niriki is a 16 month old spayed Terrier Pit Bull Mix that is energetic, playful and loving. She is a fast learner, completely housetrained and does great with children of all ages. Her favorite activities are walking/sightseeing at the local park and playing fetch. Niriki has been taught to follow simple commands such as sit, stay, come and lay. She is treat motivated and does not require hand signals to memorize new commands. Niriki is up to date on all recommended vaccines and veterinary care. She has no known health conditions and Veterinarian records may be provided upon request. We deeply care for Niriki, and are quite sad to have to let her go. This has been a very tough decision to make for our family. She is truly an awesome dog, and our only request is that Niriki is adopted by a loving home.

Story
Sherry is approximately 9 years old and has been in my care majority of her life. She was adopted back when I was in late high school and I eventually married after college and physically cannot bring her with me due to her size and breed stereotypes. Sherry has a very calm temperament and loves physical interaction. She is potty trained and warns when she needs to go outside. There are no heath issues besides a benign lipoma under her belly and a benign, sizable wart on her right hind leg that she has no issues with. Sherry does shed and loves brushing. She accepts baths reasonable well - freezing in place when introduced to water. Sherry is very easy to care for and is quite independent. We are looking for an indoor environment and a loving family to carry her for the rest of her life. Vaccinations are up to date, as well as physical exams. Sherry’s only exposure to other dogs is while at boarding where she tries to avoid interaction by laying down elsewhere.

American Pit Bull Terrier

Dalzell, SC

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hazel was found in January curled up in a ditch. She had recently birthed puppies, was mistreated, starved, and then abandoned in freezing temperatures. She is very calm, sweet, and accepting but as she has received cuddles, food, and love, we see she is very intelligent and gaining confidence. She is even starting to get the zoomies now! She will follow you around the house and yard. When feeling comfortable and happy, she likes to do little tumbles and summersaults. She loves being indoors so a large yard is not required. We adopted her a couple months ago but our other alpha female and her refused to get along and it is too dangerous to keep them together (she’s fine with submissive males or as an only dog). NOTE: She is NOT aggressive with kids. She is scared of sudden movements and loud noises, but as long as people are calm around her, she will be fine. She is completely healthy, vaccinated, and fixed and ready for a great home! We are extremely sad she can’t stay with us :(

Story
Oso is a true gentle giant. He has been around other dogs since he was a puppy so he really has never been alone. He is funny and always down for a good cuddle session. Oso is not up for adoption due to behavior issues but for pure housing issues. He has an arthritic leg that he is on daily medicine for but it does not stop him from living his best life every day! He does best with older children as he’s an old man now and can get a little annoyed with too much happening around him. He again does well with other dogs, even small dogs but cats I’m not quite sure about as I’m allergic to them so I’m not sure how he would react. He is crate trained, house trained and he takes his medicine like treats. He has slept on a bed with me his whole life so sleeping on his own bed would be an adjustment for him, like I said he loves a good cuddle session. He will need a home that has a yard or parents willing to walk him regularly. I want a forever last home for him.
