Story
Moe is a super friendly, energetic, cuddly dog. He is almost 2 years old this coming July. He loves to play so we are looking for somewhere where he can be outside and run. He is good with other dogs and cats as we own a cat as well. Unfortunately we are too busy at this time to care for him the way he deserves.

Story
Hazel is an incredibly sweet pup who needs a home with constant attention. We got her from the Humane Society at 8 weeks old. She is now a year and a half. She was spayed at 8 weeks. This caused her to have a tucked vulva. She also has separation anxiety that displays in the form of destruction. She will require attention (ie. don't leave her home alone) and has to be cleaned once a week in her lady bits to ensure she does not get an infection. She is house trained and great with our other dog. When you are around, she is the best dog ever. When you leave without her, she gets destructive. We have tried everything we could. She just wants to be a full-time buddy. Recently she has found ways to escape, causing us to worry as we live on a busy street. We cannot redo our fence or Hazel proof our home any more than we have. Her perfect home would include a lot of play, snuggles, and additional training to help her self-soothe. The reward is the most loving, derpy, snuggly dog ever.

Skip is 9 year young, he weighs 17 pounds, his adoption fee is $250 plus sales tax $11.25= $261.25   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental , bladder stones surgery and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2025, 9:20 pm

Buddy has definitely come out of his shell also and has found his voice when guarding the house through the front window or teasing the neighbor dogs through the fence.  He loves everyone. A little shy with new people at first but warms up quickly. He LOOOOVED my dad - best friends right away. He is definitely a shadow. Has to be where his people are at all times. He knows what toys are, but doesn’t seem too interested. He’d rather use them as a pillow. I think he’d do great with another dog in the house. He and June are thick as thieves. 100% potty trained. Has never had one accident and lets you know when he has to go out. He also potties every time he’s outside even if he didn’t indicate that he needed to go. Walks great on a leash for us. Overall just a sweet, sweet boy.' Hi! I'm Buddy. I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue because my owner passed away so I needed a new home. This is a big change for me so I need a little adjustment time to settle in and show my true personality. In the meantime I have to go in for a dental. My foster mom will update my bio soon.My name is Buddy, I am 6 years old, I weigh 40 pounds, my adoption fee is $325 plus sales tax $14.63= $339.63   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2025, 1:03 pm

I visited Dr. Paul and can you believe he thinks I need to lose a few pounds . Honestly, I am not too worried about it now that I can get out and run and play with all my foster sisters and brothers. My foster mom cannot believe how playful I am. I am potty trained and sleep with my foster brother in an expen at night. I am starting to like my kibble and dog treats but I know there are tastier options in the refrigerator that I would prefer. My foster mom adores me and thinks I am a very good dog! I do need another dog in the house to keep me active.I am fully vetted and ready to find my furever home!
