Story
Possum is a good boy, but a quirky boy. He is his breed (Great Pyrnees) and would be a good guard dog. He is dog selective, so may be best for him to be the only dog or have several meet and greets with any dogs already in the home. He's a big boy and unfortunately isn't aware of his size so has knocked a few small children down. He would do fine in a home with bigger children 11+. He would require a fenced in yard, unless the owner is ok walking him for potty breaks and exercise. He loves toys, knows basic commands, is potty trained, crate trained, and is food motivated. He is currently living in a foster home.

Story
**Looking for a Loving Home for My Best Friend**It breaks my heart to have to do this, but I am looking for a loving forever home for my 5-year-old dog due to my landlord's breed restrictions. This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, and I want to find someone who will love him as much as I do.He is 5 years old and has been my best friend. He is loyal, loving, and happiest when he's with his people. He does well with children ages 6 and older. He is **not good with cats**, so he needs a cat-free home. He would do best as the **only dog**, where he can have all the attention to himself. However, he has done well around calm, smaller dogs that are not overly energetic. He is **food aggressive with other dogs**, so he needs to be fed separately if there are other dogs in the home.I'm looking for someone who understands his needs and is willing to give him the stable, loving home he deserves. Finding the right family is more important to me than finding a home quickly.

Story
Magnum is ready to get straight to the point: he’s had a rough go of it in the past, surviving major hardships early in life and a second setback more recently. But all of that is officially in his rearview mirror. At 9 years young, this precious senior Beagle is only looking forward, and his dream is simple: a peaceful, quiet home where he can live out the rest of his days in comfort. Magnum is an absolute soul connector. He has a magical way of bonding with every person he meets, offering unmatched loyalty and affection. Because he has so much love to give—and a few years to make up for—he wants to be the center of your attention and strictly prefers not to share your affection with other pets. The Ideal Match: ⚡ Energy Level: Low-to-moderate. He’s past the chaotic puppy phase and prefers a relaxed rhythm. 🏡 Home Environment: A calm, quiet, mature household (he would do fantastic in an older family home). 🛋️ The Dream: If you are looking for a loyal "retirement dog" to enjoy slow mornings, easy strolls, and endless couch cuddles with, Magnum fits the bill perfectly. Don't let his past define him—come meet the boy who is ready to define your future. Ready to Adopt? 📝 To ensure Magnum is the perfect fit for your lifestyle, Animal Harbor utilizes a pre-adoption interview and a wonderful 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period so you can see how he settles into your daily routine. 💻 Review the full requirements, check the guidelines for renters, and fill out an application.
