Story
Possum is a good boy, but a quirky boy. He is his breed (Great Pyrnees) and would be a good guard dog. He is dog selective, so may be best for him to be the only dog or have several meet and greets with any dogs already in the home. He's a big boy and unfortunately isn't aware of his size so has knocked a few small children down. He would do fine in a home with bigger children 11+. He would require a fenced in yard, unless the owner is ok walking him for potty breaks and exercise. He loves toys, knows basic commands, is potty trained, crate trained, and is food motivated. He is currently living in a foster home.

Story
If love could be bottled up, it would probably look a lot like Little Toe. This 1-year-old hound mix is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to her people. She can be a little shy at first but once she opens up, her sweet personality really shines. She’s the kind of dog who leans into you and makes it very clear that being loved is her favorite thing in the world. She’s also got a playful side and loves to let loose once she feels comfortable. She does well with other dogs, though she can be a bit selective with smaller ones, and we’re still learning about how she feels around cats. If you’re looking for a dog who will be all about you, Little Toe is more than ready to fill that role. All pets that are adopted out of Animal Harbor are fully vetted. This means they are spayed/neutered and receive a Rabies, yearly vaccinations, preventatives for heartworms as well as flea/tick, and microchipped along with any additional vetting required to keep them healthy and happy. Dogs/ puppies 6 months and above are all heartworm tested (and treated if needed) and all cats/kittens are combo tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS. If you have other pets in the home, Animal Harbor recommends bringing them to meet and greets. All pets go through a foster to adopt trial process to ensure a successful adoption!

Story
Kerrigan is so sweet! She loves physical affection and any attention that she can get from her human. She is currently being fostered and is doing really well. She gets along great with the other dogs, is curious about the cats, but shows no desire to chase or hurt them. She is house trained, leash trained, but doesn't seem to have any interest in toys. She has not been tested around children, but would probably do best in a home without children. At first, she might be a bit snippy towards other dogs in the home, if she feels that her human is being threatened. She's outgoing, curious, and playful. She would do best in a home where she gets to be the number one priority. She loves to run in the yard and roll in the grass. But her favorite thing is just being with you!
