Frank loves playing in the lake/river. he does great on walks. he’s on a feeding schedule. This sweet boy is kennel trained for the most part and potty trained. He loves any and all toys. Frank gets along with other dogs and cats (we haven’t introduced him too very many). He loves being outside. This smart boy knows sit, shake, and a little bit of “lay down.” He hates his baths though.

Story
🌟 Meet Penelope — The Playful, Toy‑Loving Sunbather With a Big Personality Penelope is a fun, spirited girl who knows exactly what she likes — toys, wrestling, sunshine, and the right dog friends. She’s full of personality, smart as can be, and always ready for a good time. Penelope loves to play with submissive male dogs and can do well with submissive females as long as introductions are gradual and respectful. She’s a confident girl who appreciates dogs that give her space and match her energy in a positive way. This toy‑obsessed queen loves to wrestle, chase toys, and hang out on her dog cot, which might be her favorite place in the world. She’s also a dedicated sun‑bather, perfectly content to stretch out in the yard and soak up the warmth. Penelope is not a fence jumper and doesn’t dig out, which makes yard time easy and enjoyable. She’s currently about 60% crate/potty trained, and with consistency, she’ll keep improving. She’s treat‑motivated, loves her puzzle bowl, and enjoys any activity that works her brain. She does have a few firm boundaries: No cats. No chickens. She’s made that very clear. ✨ Penelope Would Love a Home With: Submissive male dogs (or submissive females with slow intros) Someone who loves an active, playful dog A yard for sunbathing and cot‑lounging A person or family who enjoys training and enrichment A home with no cats and no chickens 💛 Why You’ll Love Her Penelope is smart, silly, athletic, and full of heart. She’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and she’ll thrive with someone who appreciates a dog with personality and confidence. Give her toys, sunshine, and a little structure, and she’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and endless entertainment.

Story
Baylor – The Sweet, Spotted Girl Ready for Her Fresh Start Baylor is a 4‑year‑old, medium-sized (44 lb) white-and-black spotted sweetheart who came to us as a transfer from Parker County . She’s a gentle, steady adult who carries herself with that calm, thoughtful energy you only get once a dog has grown out of the chaos of puppyhood. This girl is already spayed and arrived in healthy condition —a huge plus for adopters who want a dog ready to settle right into home life. Baylor has that soft, expressive face and those striking black markings that make her stand out instantly. She’s the kind of dog who watches the world with quiet curiosity, taking everything in before she decides how she feels about it. Personality Baylor is the definition of a “good girl.” She’s polite, observant, and has a gentle presence that makes people gravitate toward her. She’s not pushy, not chaotic—just a calm, loving dog who wants to be near her people and enjoy simple moments. What She’s Looking For Baylor would thrive with someone who appreciates a dog that doesn’t need constant entertainment to be happy. She’s past the puppy stage but still young enough to enjoy walks, yard time, and companionship. She’d make a wonderful match for a family, a couple, or a single adopter wanting a loyal, easygoing companion. Why You’ll Love Her Beautiful spotted coat and unique markings Calm, adult temperament Healthy and already spayed Medium size—easy to manage, easy to love Baylor is ready for her next chapter, and she deserves one filled with comfort, kindness, and a family who sees how special she is. If you’re looking for a steady, loving companion with a heart as big as Texas, Baylor is your girl.

Story
Meet Blue – Your Real-Life Teddy Bear Blue is a 7-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his 80-pound body. With his stunning blue coat and soft white chest, Blue is as handsome on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s house and crate trained, smart, easygoing, and loves a calm, predictable routine. While Blue may be sight-impaired, he adapts quickly and navigates his surroundings with confidence. He enjoys slow morning walks in the sunshine, soft beds for afternoon naps, and snuggling up for a Netflix marathon. He’s a mellow boy who’s happiest when he’s near his people, soaking up all the love and cuddles he can get. Blue is good with other dogs after a polite sniff hello and fits right in with a laid-back pack. He listens well (especially if treats are involved — he never says no to a snack!) and thrives in a peaceful environment where he can feel secure and loved. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and heartworm negative — ready to go home with his forever family. If you think you’re in need of a real-life teddy bear to be your new best friend, please complete an application on our website. His foster mom will be in touch to tell you more about this gentle sweetheart.
