Story
Zeus showed up on our property a year ago. He was wounded so we took him to a local vet for them to clean/treat wounds. He’s microchipped but the owners couldn’t be located so it was transferred to us. I have tried and tried to rehome him as we don’t want a dog right now. We have kids and he is really good with them. He listens and goes potty outside. He sleeps in a kennel because we don’t want him on our furniture. He does have separation anxiety but does really well with us home. He’s shown zero aggression and walks on a leash really well. He gets along with other dogs at dog parks. He hasn’t been around cats but he does bark and chase the feral ones in our rural area. However, in home, he’s not a barker at all. He’s a good dog but our family has reach its max with him, meaning we didn’t want an animal. It’s been a year and I’m really trying to find him a good home. We feel like he would be perfect for a retiree or homebody. Basically someone that’s home most of the time.

Story
Anubis is an 8 year old happy and joyful long haired husky. She loves to play, go on walks, chew on her bone bones and shes very patient. She enjoys talking with you and even chimes in when your singing. But as playful as she is, she can also be funnily lazy. For instance, she like to lay down while eating, drinking and even while playing tug. Shes not friendly to cats, but loves other dogs and people and she doenst like yelling, it scares her and she will find a place to hide. We have been the only family shes ever known. Unfortunately, our financial situation has changed and we can no longer afford the care she needs. Which is some dental work (nothing to serious) & to see abt this cough shes been having (shes tested negative for heart worms). I breaks my heart to see her go but keeping her and allowing her to suffer is selfish. Im looking for a new forever home for my beautiful baby so she can live her life out as healthy and happy as possible. Thank your for you kind consideration

Charlie is about 10 years old and about 10lbs. He still has energy but also likes to just cuddle. He’s a sweet dog but doesn’t tolerate young children well. He will need to be in a home without young children.

Story
Coco is a good girl. She loves to chew bones and chasing balls. She is crate trained or would love to sleep in your bed. She can be a little scaredy cat at first but warms up to you real quick. Loves her belly rubs. She could use some training, we haven’t had time to do so. We adopted her and her sister when they were babies. However, I didn’t expect her to grow to 90 lbs. Unfortunately we have some health stuff going on in our home and I’m overwhelmed. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats all that found us at some time. I hate to rehome but if there is someone out there that can give her more time and attention, I’d rather her get a chance to be at a happier home. Note: At this time she needs vaccinations. I am trying to get this done soon but if I cannot will reimburse cost if taken to Texas Coalition.

Story
Griffin is 6 years old and we adopted him 5 years ago from the Grand Prairie Animal Shelter. Griffin is good with kids and other dogs in the right environment. We are looking to re-home because we have a young child who requires a lot of attention and there unfortunately isn’t enough attention for Griffin. We are hoping he goes to a loving home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. He loves to sit and relax on the couch and go out for walks or play in the backyard.
