Floki is 5 years old (born September 11th, 2020 in Virginia), energetic, goofy, and loves to play, dropping his favorite toys in front of you constantly so that you can throw it for him. He loves snuggling up to people and being petted. We adopted him at two months old and he grew up around two small children his entire life so he is very friendly with kids and people. Floki would do very well with a family or someone that can play with him, and has a large property or backyard with room to run around since that is what he was used to back in Virginia before we relocated to Texas.We are relocating again overseas.

Story

Zeus showed up on our property a year ago. He was wounded so we took him to a local vet for them to clean/treat wounds. He’s microchipped but the owners couldn’t be located so it was transferred to us. I have tried and tried to rehome him as we don’t want a dog right now. We have kids and he is really good with them. He listens and goes potty outside. He sleeps in a kennel because we don’t want him on our furniture. He does have separation anxiety but does really well with us home. He’s shown zero aggression and walks on a leash really well. He gets along with other dogs at dog parks. He hasn’t been around cats but he does bark and chase the feral ones in our rural area. However, in home, he’s not a barker at all. He’s a good dog but our family has reach its max with him, meaning we didn’t want an animal. It’s been a year and I’m really trying to find him a good home. We feel like he would be perfect for a retiree or homebody. Basically someone that’s home most of the time.

When we first got peanut it seemed like we had gotten our puzzle piece to complete us, with time things had gotten harder with how everything is going on work has become more demanding and more stress due to not getting peanut to his original schedule and that was just him being outside a lot or going on walks more often. Peanut is the sweetest soul, he’s almost seemed to have taken care of me when I wasn’t doing well. He’s so gentle and smart (sometimes too smart) He loves sunbathing He loves food He loves cuddles He loves to play and just jump around He loves playing with other dogs as well (preferably big) We have a smaller dog and he’s never tried anything with her because he knows boundaries very well He loves a good kennel and bed and will even put himself to bed more often then not. He does enjoy cats as well he just thinks all animals want to play, Even the cows With moving he’s moved into a smaller home and a strict schedule something we don’t want for him
