Story
Pepper is a loving girl once she gets to know you. She has anxiety and is on anxiety medication. She has problems with resource guarding and would be best suited to being the only animal in the home. We have a 7 month old baby that she has been around since his birth. She needs a lot of patience and alot of love that we are unable to give her due to our growing family.

Story
Meet Maggie, also know as Mooshie. She’s about 7 years old and is from a rescue in the mountains of NC. She is very kind and affectionate with humans. Maggie would do well with a young active person and as the only dog in the house because she engages in resource guarding (safeguards toys, her human and holes she digs from other dogs). She walks well and needs lots of exercise. She is part border collie and smart, agile and fast but has never been food motivated (she is toy and praise motivated). For the right person, she would be the ideal dog. This person would be active and walk, run, hike, bike etc… with her a minimum of 2x/day, keep her mind engaged with toys and dog training and just love her and let her love them. She just wants to be with you and cuddle and play and go on walkies. She is scared of storms and crate trained (but haven’t used it in years). She will dig in the backyard if she does not get enough exercise and mental stimulation.

Story
I have a breeding pair of 6 year old AKC rough collies with papers. My living situation has changed and l can no longer keep these two wonderful dogs. They have successfully had two litters of 10 and 12 puppies. Solstice, the female, is a great mom to the puppies. I would like to keep them together because they have always been together and are well suited for each other.. .I am hoping to find the right people and place for them to be relocated to. Come and meet them. 715-787-3424

Story
Hi humans! My name is Princess. I thought I had a forever home but it just wouldn`t stick so I`m back in these kennels once again. Here`s what you should know- I`m a sweet and playful girl who deserves the forever kind of love. It`s looking like I`ll be happiest as the only dog in the home and the jury is still out when it comes to me having any future friendships with cats. I think we`ll have to learn the rest about each other as we go- are you in?!

Story
Ello again... In case you forgot, I'm Gretzky. I've been in foster care for a long time now and I've really got a good schedule down. I'll tell you about it if you want.... First I wake up and am excited to go potty outside. It's one of my favorite times and I may bark or nip your butt with excitement. Don't worry, I'm not /that/ excited. I just really have to pee. Then I come inside and lay on my beddy. It's my favorite spot. Unfortunately, I'm what my foster calls 'a babe magnet.' This means my canine and feline roommates will come to snuggle in my beddy with me, even in very warm temperatures. I don't understand it either. So we spend the next several hours rotating beddies until lunch, when we go back outside. Much sleeping is had. And snacks. Then the garage door opens and my room mates and I loose our collective minds because foster M'mam is home! I love her. And it means we get to do the best thing ever: walkies. I love pooping when I'm on a leash. I love walking. I don't need to smell anything, I don't care. I just like to walk. Especially in the woods! Sometimes we will see people on our walk. It makes me very nervous. Sometimes they will ask to pet me. I tell them 'No Thank You' by desperately trying to get away from them. Then I am edgy the rest of the walk. What if they secretly pop out of a bush to pet me?? Sometimes my foster M'mam will lock me in the bathroom and pet me. I've gotten used to this strange habit, but I don't really like it. Then, after food smells (sometimes I get veggie scraps to chew on) and screen time, I get my pill treat and it's time for bed. I bet you thought I forgot snack and drinking breaks. I didn't. After the lights go off, I remember I need water to survive and chug all the water. Then I vomit out the extra. Then, I will often drink the extra off the floor. I don't want to make a mess. This is probably why I'm so eager to pee in the morning. So that is my life. It's way better than it was. My foster keeps trying to push me to do bigger and better things. But it's hard! I need someone with patience and who won't expect too much from me... I won't expect much from you either! I just want walks and to feel safe and protected. Story
Hey Ladies… Fortune Here (But my friends just call me Handsome)Breed: Karakachan MixDOB: 9/24/21Weight: 69 lbs of floofy perfectionAdoption Fee: $400 solo, or $600 if you take me and my sister Cookie (total steal, honestly) Apply to adopt us here!Yo. I’m Fortune — tall, floofy, and truly one of a kind. People used to call me shy, but after a whole year in my foster home, I’ve learned that life is actually pretty awesome when you’ve got good snacks, kind humans, and a comfy spot to nap. These days, I’m showing my true colors: gentle, loyal, and just a little goofy. I still have a calm, thoughtful side — the kind of dog who watches the world go by before jumping in — but once I trust you, I’ll be your biggest fan. My favorite things? Quiet moments, soft pets, car rides with the windows down, and (don’t tell Cookie) … Cheetos. I’ll do just about anything for a Cheeto. Fun Facts About Me:• I’ve been in foster care for over a year, and wow, have I come a long way! I’m more confident every day and really starting to shine.• I’m all about those long walks, chill car rides, and lazy afternoons with my humans.• I currently live with my sister Cookie — we’re a great team. We wrestle, nap, and make each other laugh.• You don’t have to adopt us both, but come on… double the love, double the floof. What I’m Looking For:• A kind, patient person who’ll keep helping me blossom at my own pace.• A home with older kids (14+ is best) since I’m a big guy with big zoomies.• Someone who sees past the fluff and understands what a gentle soul I am — loyal, loving, and ready to be your best friend. You can apply for this pup at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt*Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member.
