Having traveled 999 miles and 14 hours, Hoagie is here with his big, confident personality! As Hoagie`s past is a mystery we are learning lots about this big guy and can`t wait to share what we learn!- Hoagie LOVES his swimming pools. You can`t keep this guy out of the water, whether it`s running in for a splash or laying in the kiddie pools out in the yards soaking up the rays. This guys a guaranteed water bug.- He would benefit from some training courses as he`s very jumpy and doesn`t seem to know his size.- Hoagie keeps his kennel clean and seems to be falling into rotation smoothly!- It is currently unknown how Hoagie does with other dogs, as we`ve been letting him settle in, we haven`t done introductions quite yet.- Hoagie would be a great pup for anyone looking for a pup who`s always ready for the next adventure!

Magnus is a handsome Great Pyrenees Mix of just over 1.5yrs. He did live with his sister and did well with her. Magnus is straight to his breed- large, goofy, stubborn, and smart. His all time favorite treat is freeze fried quail eggs! He is a picky eater- but has taken a liking to Purina One wet food mixed in with his kibble & Farmers Dog! This guy hasn’t met a person he didn’t like and although a bit bashful at first, he warms up quick to new friends. Since he’s a big clumsy fella, older children are recommended (He doesn’t always know his size!). It is unknown how he feels about cats & as always a meet & greet is necessary before going home with any dog siblings.

On 7/06/26 Butterball found his way to our shelter after being coaxed from a ditch by someone who had the patience and kindness to bring him to us. When we saw Butterball, we saw a scared boy who just wanted and needed a second chance. We cannot begin to thank fellow staff, our Vet, and volunteers who have worked with Butterball to help light the fire back in his soul and turn a scared, hurt, and suffering animal into the kind, playful, and brave boy he is today. Now, it`s time for the community to hear what we`ve learned about this special boy and apply if he sounds like the perfect boy for you!Butterball is estimated to be roughly 4 years old and weighs about 55 pounds. He has not met any other dogs, but he is reactive and overwhelmed by any passing. Butterball seems very interested in cats with the same reaction. Butterball LOVES his toys and treats. He`ll play for hours if you let him and he takes treats so gently now. Butterball is a big goof who brings endless smiles wherever he goes. He loves exploring and is very curious so he would need a home with someone who has the energy to keep up! His skin issue when he came was a combination of fleas, ticks, and yeast build up. After weekly medicated baths and preventative, he has come so far!If Butterball sounds like he would fit in your home, then stop in to say hi and fill out an application!
