Story
Polkadot is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Polkadot. She’s not just another pretty face, though that face sure is pretty. She’s a world traveler, a hostess with the mostess, and a sun worshipper all wrapped in one. Polkadot’s story begins where all good stories begin: Kuwait. Despite being the total package, Polkadot was dumped, literally. She found herself in an infamous dumping ground where management had set about poisoning all the cats they were inundated with. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Polkadot had a life threatening infection in her uterus. To say the cards were stacked against her is an understatement, but Polkadot for once had luck on her side when a rescuer saw her and stepped in. Her medical needs were tended to, she was seen and valued, and soon enough she was shipped off on a transatlantic flight headed for the DMV and her happily ever after. And this right there is where Polkadot hopes you come in. This long haired looker exudes confidence. She’s highly adaptable and all your guests will know her. Girlfriend has the teeniest tiniest play itch that she’ll willingly scratch on occasion with a similarly minded feline friend or with the assist of a wand toy, but she is by no means a highly playful cat. Rather, Polkadot’s regal and she’s into her health so give the girl a sunbeam and she’ll happily soak up all the Vitamin D she can get for hours on end while letting the light glisten off her and giving you some major hair envy. Polkadot is currently living with small children, another cat, and dogs, and she’s excelling with all. She occasionally sleeps with the little boy in her foster home, happily showing him her belly (it’s not a trap!) for some bedtime scritches before the light goes out for the night. As a cat who had to live on the streets with whatever came her way, it’s no surprise that Polkadot readily accepted the other animals in her foster home, realizing they were all in it together. Although she very occasionally tries to engage with them, she’s largely an independent lady, much more oriented to people than other animals. And have we told you about her purr motor? It immediately starts the moment you hold her and it rivals some small boats. It’s impressive. Heck, Polkadot’s impressive. Does Polkadot sound like the cat for you? She sure hopes so! Apply today and snatch this girl up before someone else does. **see more Polkadot cuteness on IG @fosteredwithkids ATTRIBUTES: Polkadot has done well with other dogs, cats, and children. —------------- Laila’s Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any cat is housebroken. Story
GARFIELD – THE PROFESSIONAL CUDDLE EXPERTGarfield wandered into the life of the rescue lady who found him last November seeking a meal. Once she started feeding him, he decided to make her home his own. He mysteriously disappeared for nearly a week at the end of December, but when he returned, his ear was tipped and appeared to be neutered. His foster mom has 4 cats already and soon she learned that Garfield truly had a strong desire to be the one and only cat in the home.  Broken hearted, his foster mom , Rachel, has asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to please help find him a wonderful home where he can reign as King Supreme.  He has been an outdoor cat but was brought inside during the extreme cold weather.  This was when he made his true desire known to be the only cat in the house.  He’s not a fan of mingling with other cats or dogs, so he enjoys his own space. Despite this, Garfield is wonderful with people and seems to adore everyone he meets. We truly believe he would be the perfect lap companion for any person of any age. His age seems to be about 2-3 years old and he weighs almost 13 pounds.  Handsome and fluffy and wonderfully loving.  Don’t miss this boy if you are a one cat household that wants a snuggler and a fluffy ball.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are wanting to adopt a boy like Garfield. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 28, 2025, 10:18 am

Story
Lilo is my sweet 3-year-old long-haired cat who I sadly need to rehome as I’m moving overseas. She is a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving, cuddly, and full of personality. She loves fish-flavored wet food, chicken dry food, and chasing string toys. Her favorite things? Snuggling up, making biscuits, and just being near you. Lilo is great with other animals and guaranteed to make you smile. I’m looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and adored she truly deserves it.

Story
After fostering for years, this beautiful fluffy boy stole my heart. He came to me with trust issues and a tendency to react very quickly when stressed or startled, but in the 3ish years I've had him, he's mellowed dramatically, to the point that he will voluntarily come onto my lap and cuddle. He is still considered a "high arousal" cat, and will need a home with people who will pay attention to his cues and give him space when he needs it. He has had urinary blockage issues and had surgery to shorten his ureter, but requires a prescription diet. Archie thrives on predictability and consistency, and prefers an uncluttered space to play where he is the only animal. He makes a very good, if insistent, alarm clock, and will welcome you home with chirrups and demands for food and attention.
