Lyric is a friendly, mellow black kitten who has some white on the underside. She was born in April 2025 to an abandoned mom cat. Lyric watches for you and follows you around. She tolerates being picked up and purrs on contact with her trusted person. She jumps into your lap when you sit and will stay for short periods of brushing and petting. She plays with water in her dish, with cat toys by herself, or interactively with you. Lyric enjoys watching wildlife out the window. Lyric likes to nap with you. She is friendly with trusted people and after a while with a stranger. Lyric tolerates the foster’s active dog, is okay with cats, and is a bit on the dominate side. She should be fine with respectful children. Lyric is cooperative with claw trims, taking medications, and doesn’t cry while riding in a car. She properly uses a litterbox and a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Luz says hello! Luz is a sweet, mellow kitten born in April 2025 to a mom cat abandoned at a mobile home park. She tolerates being picked up, jumps into your lap when you sit, and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. Then she is off to play with cat toys or interactively with you. Luz watches for you, greets you at the door and follows your around the house. She plays with water in her dish. She purrs on contact when she is near her trusted person. Luz likes to sleep with you. She is friendly with strangers after a while and very friendly with trusted folks. Luz is quiet unless you are pokey delivering her meals. She is passive with other cats and will leave to find a quiet place when her male siblings get too rough with her. Delilah is all white except for a black tail and 2 spots on her head. The vet thinks she was born in 2019. Delilah is quiet, avoidant of strangers, friendly with her trusted persons, and affectionate on her terms. She accepts a little brushing on her back, shies from petting, and doesn’t want to be held. If there is no competition, she rolls over on her tummy when playing with wand toys and also plays by herself with toys. Delilah enjoys watching wildlife at the window. She gets along with male cats and is competitive with some girl cats. Delilah has not met dogs or kids under age nine. She enjoys the company of her calico daughter, Dotty. Delilah needs a patient adopter willing to give her time to trust and blossom to be the nice cat that she is. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Story

Sam is a sweet, timid cat who was captured from a suburban neighborhood as a stray kitten, along with his two brothers. He started off very scared of humans, but has made great strides and now enjoys being brushed and pet. He does still scare easily, though, and he takes time to warm up to new humans. He likes most other cats, especially his brother Riley, but doesnâ€™t seem to like the one adult female tortoiseshell cat in his foster home. He gets along fine with his brother Riley as well as the other adult male cat in his foster home. He is also used to the large, fairly calm dog in his foster home. Sam is a great cat who would like to find a loving, patient forever home! Sam has had a complete wellness exam, is microchipped, neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is updated on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250.00 which includes a free wellness exam within 7 days of adoption. Sam is currently located in a foster home. Payment is either cash or check. Sorry, we do not do any out-of-state adoptions. ADOPTING A PET IS A LIFELONG COMMITMENT!

Jasper is a super sweet social kitty, well behaved and loves to cuddle. Were moving unexpectedly somewhere he cant come with to and it breaks our heats but we have no family or friends able to take him right now.
