We are heartbroken to be making this decision, but we are looking to rehome our beloved cat to a home where she can truly thrive.She can be a little shy at first but she is incredibly loving and curious a cat who is playful and cuddly.Unfortunately, our two dogs cause her considerable stress and she seems unable to fully relax in our home environment.We believe she would do best in a calm home with no dogs, or with very mellow dogs that completely ignore her.This has not been an easy decision as we truly love her dearly. Our only goal is to find her a loving home.

Meet Jupiter! <3 This gray and white tabby, young male, was born in November 2024 and found as a stray. Jupiter likes playing with toys by himself or interactively with you. He enjoys watching at the window for wildlife, playing with his water dish, curling up in the bathroom sink, and batting running water. Jupiter is very friendly with known folks, hesitant near strangers, and hasn’t met kids, but if they are gentle he should be okay. In the foster home he gets along with other cats and an active dog. Jupiter is affectionate and easy going. He watches for you at the window, meets you at the door, and follows you around the house. Jupiter is fine being picked up and held and often rubs against your face and gives kitty kisses. He jumps into your lap when you sit and stays for a while of brushing and petting. Occasionally, he flips over for tummy stroking. Jupiter would enjoy another pet for company, after proper introductions. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Delilah is all white except for a black tail and 2 spots on her head. The vet thinks she was born in 2019. Delilah is quiet, avoidant of strangers, friendly with her trusted persons, and affectionate on her terms. She accepts a little brushing on her back, shies from petting, and doesn’t want to be held. If there is no competition, she rolls over on her tummy when playing with wand toys and also plays by herself with toys. Delilah enjoys watching wildlife at the window. She gets along with male cats and is competitive with some girl cats. Delilah has not met dogs or kids under age nine. She enjoys the company of her calico daughter, Dotty. Delilah needs a patient adopter willing to give her time to trust and blossom to be the nice cat that she is. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Meet Sooty! Are you looking for a friendly, affectionate, and out-going beauty? That is me, a tri-colored tortoiseshell, born July 2025. I was found as a stray and no one claimed me, so I’m all yours. When you come home you’ll find me watching for you at the window. I meet you at the door, rub against your ankles, follow you around the house, and sometimes reach up requesting to be picked up and held upright. If you are trusted, I’ll give you kitty kisses and rub against your face. When you are sitting, I usually hop into your lap and will stay as long as you pet or brush me. Sometimes I just like to sit next to you. My quiet purr starts up quickly when I’m near you. Oh, did I tell you I’m quiet until meal times and I like to sleep with you when you nap. I haven’t met dogs, am passive with most cats, and if kids are respectful and gentle, I should do fine. I hope you have something high enough so I can watch wildlife out the window. Meet Summer! This affectionate, easy-going, and confident calico/torby was born in April 2024. When you come home you’ll find Summer watching for you at the window. She will greet you at the door, entwine around your legs, then follow you around the house. Summer tolerates being picked up and held upright plus gives kitty kisses. When you are sitting, she often jumps into your lap or lets you place her there. Summer will stay for short sessions of petting or brushing, then she is off to investigate. Sometimes she just likes to sit near you. Summer likes to have a perch high enough to be able to watch wildlife out the window. She plays by herself with cat toys and interactively with wand toys. She is quiet until meal times when she lets you know you to hurry. Summer is on the dominate side with most cats. She hasn’t met dogs and if kids are respectful plus gentle, she should do fine with them. She eats a prescription diet of Biome or i/d cat food.
