Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi! I'm Arrietty, a playful, social, and friendly young lady.  My FAVORITE thing ever is to PLAY! I love to chase glitter pom poms, ear plugs, erasers, bugs, and anything small all over the house.  If I found a family who could play with me and cuddle me a LOT, I could go to a home without another cat. But I like cats and really appreciate having feline friends to groom, cuddle, and chase.  I've even won over the old man cats in my foster home.   I'm named for Arrietty, the main character of the Borrower books who was always in search of a safe home, because when I was a street cat, I kept trying to sneak into houses.  Now that I've gotten indoors, I like to stay indoors! I do like to have a perch where I can look out a window, though.  It's too bad I can't speak people language, because I know everything that's happening in the neighborhood.  I like strangers and would make a great shop cat.  I have not met a dog yet, but am not easily spooked and probably would get used to a respectful dog quickly.   One of my favorite hobbies is hiding in my foster mom's room while she gets ready for bed, so I can sneak snuggle her.  My cardinal rule is that nobody naps alone.  Another hobby is hiding my favorite toys in blankets and furniture.  Every night we have Zoomie Hour.  (Sometimes its more like....Zoomie Four Hours). One other thing I like is food.  I am learning table manners but sometimes need to be reminded to leave my family's dinner alone. They have hidden the garbage cans so I can't help myself to midnight snacks anymore.  Treats have helped me learn that toenail trims and brushing can be fun. I'm still learning to keep my claws retracted when playing with the humans, but I'm getting better at it! When I came into rescue, I had a belly full of surprise babies!  I loved playing with my two kittens, but they got adopted and now I'm ready to find my very own forever home.  Being pregnant in a new house wasn't fun, and I showed my unhappiness a few times by peeing outside my litterbox. Things have gotten better since then and I am very consistent about the litterbox now. If you have a window, some treats, and time to play with me - please put in an application! I'd love to make your home mine. *indoor cat only* Please fill out a Feline application here: https://underdogrescuemn.com/adoption-applications/feline-adoption-application/ ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. I'm Maren. My foster mama says I am hilarious. I love love love to play and am always bopping around the house annoying my foster siblings. I can be an independent girly but I would also love to have a companion kitty or kiddos to play with in my forever home. I am a champ at using the litterbox and I absolutely love mealtime. Toys are my second favorite thing after snackies and I will quite literally play with anything. If you are looking for a social, intelligent snugglebug purr machine I am your girl! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Reese & Rory are a 7 month old pair of very affectionate & playful female kittens. They came from a tough situation where lots of cats were dumped, and ended up being born outside. They had to fight hard to get healthy as they were so little and fragile when they ended up around lots of other sick cats. Overall, they have been healthy & full of life, but Rory will always have a bit of a minor eye issue present itself every few weeks from being exposed to things before her immune system had developed. It doesn't bother her too much and a warm washcloth with some simple eye ointment has always done the trick to clear it up quickly!  The girls will both be great additions to someone's home and must be adopted together - they have maintained a special bond as they have worked through their tough life together so far! Currently fostered in Becker, MN.  Interested in adopting? Please complete an adoption interest form at https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7003 Adoption fee $545 +MN STATE TAX  for both Reese & Rory as a pair.  RedemptionRoad.MN@gmail.com http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org Reese & Rory have been spayed and fully vetted appropriate for age: FVRCP/Distemper vaccinated Feline luek/FIV tested negative Microchipped with lifetime chip registration Dewormed Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 16, 2024, 7:24 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Jan is a curious and very playful 8 month old girl who is is hard not to fall in love with - look at those eyes! She is quickly learning how awesome indoor life is. She was dumped at a common dumping site for animals up north in Minnesota. Once she gave in to letting her fosters pet her, she couldn't get enough. Jan loves toys and treats, so she is easily bribed. It will still take her a few weeks to warm up and will need a home willing to be patient at first. It seems like she wasn't handled much as a kitten, so can get a bit mouthy when she plays, but is learning and doesn't mean any harm by it. Because of this, she would do best in a home without young kids. Jan is used to being around a lot of other cats, so would do best with cat friends to play and cuddle with. She currently has the important job of being the resident greeter for all of the new cats that come in to her foster home and makes sure they all get smothered in cuddles and know that they'll be okay! Jan is currently fostered in Becker , MN Interested in adopting? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Yeti is a 1 year 10 month old boy who grew up in a shelter in Mexico, until catching his freedom ride to Minnesota! Yeti is SO sweet and friendly with other cats, is very affectionate and has a lot to say! He loves attention, makes biscuits when he walks, and his whole body vibrates when he purrs!   Yeti takes a bit to settle in and decompress, and MUST go to an adoptive home with patient people and another welcoming kitty, to help him feel comfortable. Yeti doesn't play a ton, so would do just fine in a home with another mature and friendly kitty and a cat savvy/respectful dog.   Interested in adopting? While window-watching is her favorite thing to do, she also is an expert cuddler and has loves climbing cat towers and has recently started playing with toys. Janie would prefer to be a solo cat without dog or cat siblings, but LOVES all humans of all ages. Story
Meet Sky. Sky came into rescue after being found roaming by a good Samaritan. Most kitties have their quirks, so with that being said, Sky needs to be the only girl in your life. She can get accustomed to pups, but overall prefers to be alone. She doesn't like other kitties but has plenty of personality for you to love! She loves sunbathing on the couch, watching the birds out the window and is obsessed with her Catnip toys.  Sky I think would do best in an empty nester home or an elderly couple (or single) home where she just gets constant love and attention. Sky is only around 2-ish years old, sweet, vocal, affectionate and is ready for her purrfect home.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, heartworm, ear mite and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $225  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 16, 2024, 6:41 pm
