Story
Yvette is a sweet little girl looking for a home of her own. She has come from not wanting to be touched to wanting to sit in my lap a lot. She will need some time to gain the trust of her new family. She probably would not do well with young children. She does well with 2 of the resident cats. She and the third one simply have a dislike of each other. She also is okay with the household dogs who are pretty easy going. It has been a long journey with her but she is finally ready for a family of her own.    Yvette enjoys the breeze through her fur as she chases a catnip toy down the hallway and zooms from room to room. After a good play session, she curls up for a nap under a warm sunbeam, slowly stretching as she sunbathes in her slumber. Yvette regularly perches next to her human, whether on the edge of the couch, atop the bookshelf or tucked into a corner preferring to survey the scene before engaging.    She should only go to a home with kids of high school age or above as higher energy younger kids cause her to wilt. Yvette does nip in unfamiliar situations, so she will need a patient and understanding human to give her time to gain confidence and trust.    ##1749241##

Story
Austina is a sweet girl who is great with other cats. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but will come around quickly!  She is ok with small dogs but is afraid of large dogs. She does love toys, as well as her cat tree and hammock. Another cat that will interact with her in the home would be ideal. She has not been around children and the energy of young human kiddos might be a bit much for her, older, respectul, kiddos would be fine.         ##1749201##

Story
Stop in to meet Tootsie at our partner Chuck & Don's location in Eden Prairie (8022 Den Road) where she's currently hanging out as their in-store foster cat and official door greeter. Hello there, I'm Tootsie, and I have a story to tell you! My journey began when I found myself in a local shelter as a stray. It wasn't easy at first – I was so skinny and frail that I needed a special re-feeding plan to get back on my paws. But with lots of care and nourishment, I'm now healthy and full of life and love to give! I may be a bit on the shy side initially, but underneath that, there's a hint of sassiness that adds a little sparkle to my personality. Once I feel safe and loved, I'm all about cuddles and playtime! I've also got a knack for getting along with other feline friends, and I don't even seem to be bothered much by cat-friendly dogs (at least not the smaller ones) so you can count on me to be a great companion to your existing fur babies. So, what do you say? Are you ready to open your heart and home to a charming cat like me? I promise to fill your days with joy, laughter, and endless affection. Let's make some memories together – adopt me today! ##1969089##

Story
Hey there, I'm Tiki, and let me tell you, I'm quite the distinguished gentleman at 10 years young. Now, you might be curious how a cool cat like me ended up here, right? Well, let's just say I narrowly dodged a close call—I was almost out of lives because of some bathroom business. Yep, it's true, I'm a bit particular about my bathroom habits; because I'm a bigger boy, I need a bigger litter box and for you to keep it clean for me. Otherwise, I may go poopy on the side of the box. But hey, who can blame me? I just like to keep things clean and tidy. After all, would you want to step into your own mess? But here's the good news: the vet says I'm in tip-top shape, just need to shed a few pounds. And you know what? I'm making progress on that front. Slow and steady wins the race, they say. Now, about my furry roommates—I'll be honest, I'm not exactly their biggest fan. But can you blame me when they're always in my space? I'm more of a keep-to-myself kinda guy. So, if you respect my boundaries, I'll happily do the same. What I'm really dreaming of is a home where things move at a relaxed pace and it's nice and quiet. Somewhere I can kick back, relax, and enjoy the finer things in life. Sound like your place? If you're looking for a chill companion who knows how to appreciate the little things, then look no further. I'm Tiki, and I'm ready to bring some laid-back vibes into your life. Let's make some memories together, shall we? ##2010917##

Naomi is a beautiful girl who has been busy raising 6 kittens.  She isn't really a lap girl yet, but she hasn't had much time for herself to shine. She likes to be pet. She is good with older kids, just because she isn't really ready to be carried all over yet. But she loves the company. ##1970919##

Story
Lily came to us in lieu of euthanasia. Her owners were moving, and since Lily is a chronic vomiter, they didn't want their belongings destroyed. Overall, Lily is a healthy kitty. Her bloodwork is great. She does vomit around 4-6 times per month and is on food for a sensitive stomach. She also gets a monthly injection to help eliminate pain in her arthritic hips. Lily can be moody at times and would do best with older children. She has lived with other cats and dogs, and she does fine as long as they respect her space. ##2010924##

A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $175.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Leaf, I am from Texas. From the foster: Leaf is a very sweet kitten, and a little shy! She loves to have a cozy space she feels safe in, and has been slower to explore her foster home, but every day she gets a little braver, especially with the encouragement of her sibling Pablo! Even though she is a bit nervous, she is so so sweet and once she gets totally comfortable she will be the most loving and gentle cat! She loves her wet food, looking out the window, and cuddling with Pablo.

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $100.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi, my name is Hootie! I'm a transfer from a local impound in MN. From the foster: Hi, I'm Hootie! I bet you have never met a kitten as spunky as me! I love to do all your typical kitten things like running, jumping and pouncing! But you know what I love more? Wrestling! Once all my wrestling charades are over, I'm ready to snuggle and show you my soft side. I came into the rescue as a single kitten with no siblings, so I'm still learning to be a gentleman. Because I didn't have siblings to show me the ropes, I'm still a little mouthy and can play a bit rough with other cats and dogs, which means I might not be the best choice for small children. I would love to have a buddy to play with and continue to show me to be the best little kitty I can be! Medical Bio:Hello! Throughout my veterinary care at The Bond Between, it was discovered that I have a grade 4/6 heart murmur. I had a cardiologist and echocardiogram performed. The Vet Team recommends that I stay on my current medication and have an echocardiogram rechecked in 6 months. My future adopter can choose to pursue further cardiac consultation/treatment per a primary veterinarian's recommendations at their own expense.

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $75.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi, I'm Turtle Dove. I'm a transfer from a local MN shelter. From the foster: Turtle Dove is one independent lady. Her personality starts to shine bright once she gets to know you. She loves her chin scracthes and her cuddles. She has her zoomies and likes to solo play. She can be picky about her food and generally likes things her way and she isn't afraid to let you know. She's definitely a cat who takes a while to warm up, but once she does you'll find a loyal friend. She sleeps a lot and loves anything warm (heat pad, vents, blankets) so you can usually find her snoozing. She does ok with other cats, it just takes slow intros. She doesn't love kittens because she doesn't like to be pounced on or swatted at. Medical Bio: "Hi! My name is Turtle Dove and I cannot wait to meet you and settle into my forever home. I will need a home that is special and can provide some extra TLC. I have had a few issues that have been ongoing since I arrived in rescue. My main medical struggles have been with my arthritis/degenerative bone disease, currently being treated with a monthly injection, issues related to my Stage 2 chronic kidney disease, asthma and a few teeth that got extracted a few months ago. Kidney disease is fairly common in older kitties and cats that have a good plan for medical management can still live very full lives! My struggles have manifested in some loss of appetite or struggles with eating and occasionally blood in my urine. I will likely be on a prescription kidney diet for my remaining years. My foster mom says I have been dealing with my inhaler well and my asthma is well managed at this stage. I know it seems like I have a lot going on, however my vet team is very hopeful that I will continue to improve as long as my future family is able to keep up with this management plan! Hope to meet you soon, I know you'll fall in love with me in my golden years of being the perfect lap cat!"

Story
Hi my name is Albertosaurus! From my foster: Albertasaurus is doing great here! She loves her foster brother and follows him around. They groom each other and sleep near each other. She's very friendly and even comes when called! I've been calling her Bertie. She jumps up on my desk during work and sits in my lap sometimes. She often sleeps on the bed with me. She gets into cuddly moods where she starts purring and gets right in your face for pets, although she can easily be scared away by sudden movements. She gets startled easily and seems shy at first, but really loves people once she knows they're safe. She loves other cats and goes right up to them to greet them. She definitely needs a feline friend in her forever home. She's also extremely playful and silly. She plays in blankets, with water in the sink, and with her toys. She's very food motivated and even eats watermelon. She's a fun and cuddly little gal. We all love having her here.

Story
Hello world I'm Megalodon! Or as my foster parent's call me, MegaMan. I am the sweetest stripey guy you'll probably ever encounter. From day one I was fully myself. I've never had an issue expressing my personality and I probably never will. I am a TALKER. If you're looking for a good boy with a lot to say, look no further! I will announce myself when I come into the room, if I want to tell you a story, or if I think I might need a treat or dinner. My foster parents like to think that I'm telling them about my day when they get home from work. I LOVE getting pets! My favorites are belly rubs and chin scratches. You read that correctly, I love belly rubs. I wasn't kidding when I said I'm the sweetest guy! When my foster parents come up to me I will flop over and show my belly just so they know I'm open to pets. I'm not super snuggly yet but you'll find me sleeping near my foster parents as much as possible. In general, I'm just an all around happy kitty and I enjoy running around with my cat friends, playing with toys, and getting love from humans. I also love to watch the birds outside and catch that crazy red dot that shows up in the house sometimes! It only took me a day to acclimate to my foster home even though there were two other resident cats. I am definitely not shy and will love any other companions in the home. Even if they don't quite love me back yet! I'm a champion eater and litter box user. I've never had an issue and will never miss out on a meal or treat. My foster parents have even taught me some basic tricks because they figured out pretty quickly that I'm very very smart and food motivated. I would do best with another cat in the home, but I would probably be fine on my own as well. I play nice and know my place when I'm coming into a new environment. The only thing that I don't enjoy is being held/picked up. My foster mom can pick me up and I will comply but it is for very short periods of time. It's just not my cup of tea right now! If I want to be in your lap or to sit with you, I will make it known and initiate it myself.
