Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Delilah is all white except for a black tail and 2 spots on her head. The vet thinks she was born in 2018. Delilah is quiet, avoidant of strangers, friendly with her trusted person, and affectionate on her terms. She accepts a little brushing on her back, shies from petting, and doesn’t want to be held. If there is no competition, she rolls over on her tummy when playing with wand toys and also plays by herself with toys. Delilah enjoys watching wildlife at the window. She gets along with male cats and is competitive with some girl cats. Delilah has not met dogs or kids under age nine. She is bonded to her calico daughter, Dotty. Delilah needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). Easier to do today than 1 -2 years later when you finally realize the need. Follow us on Facebook: Cat Tales MN

Story
Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around April 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. She will take a while to develop a new relationship and settle in. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine. Sunny, a male orange tabby was born around March 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He enjoys interactive toys and window watching. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d do best with a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Jolly Roger would be best with kids over age seven, and he hasn’t met dogs. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
This older polydactly, brown tabby kitten was born in March 2021. She plays by herself with toys, or wand toys if no other cats are around, and enjoys watching wildlife at the window. Querida greets you at the door, follows you around, and nervously tolerates being picked up for short time. She will stay in your lap for short sessions of brushing and petting, but would rather sit next to you. She is friendly with trusted people and shy around strangers. Querida would do best around calm kids over age eight. She is a bit on the independent side and affectionate on her terms. Querida gets along with most male cats and passive females. Like most cats, she is afraid of the vacuum monster. Story
Sterling, a brown tabby kitten, born November 2021 lets you place him in your lap, staying for short sessions of petting and brushing. He prefers to sit next to you. He is kitten active, enjoying playing with toys and watching wildlife at the window. He purrs on contact with his trusted person. Sterling is quiet until mealtime when he tells you to hurry up. He is affectionate on his terms, friendly with known people, shy around strangers, and he hasn’t met children, but should be fine if they are gentle. His foster home has an active dog which Sterling avoids. He accepts most cats after proper introductions. He would not do well as an only cat. Sterling uses a scratching post and is litter trained. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots.
