Story
onded Pair Alert! Koda & KassidiKoda (born in 2020) and Kassidi (born in 2017) are a gentle pair of friendly German Shepherds whose world changed almost overnight. One of their beloved owners passed away, and the other was later diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for them. Through all of that heartbreak, the one constant they’ve had is each other.Koda is a social gentleman who greets people first and gently encourages his sister that things will be okay. Kassidi was a little more reserved and leaned on Koda for reassurance when the world felt big and unfamiliar. Now, Kassidi is feeling more comfortable and starting to show her playful side- and we couldn’t be happier! They came to us quite overweight, but they’ve already begun the slow journey toward becoming their healthiest selves. What hasn’t changed is their bond. These two are deeply connected and because of that, we’re searching for a very special home with enough room (and enough heart) to welcome two large dogs who have already lost so much.To meet Koda and Kassidi please fill out an application at:https://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/Or email us at farm@hsfc.org
We'll also keep you updated on Kassadi's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Vinny is a German Shepherd mix who apparently missed the memo that he’s supposed to play it cool.Vinny was picked up as a stray, but clearly loves people. He would absolutely prefer to get attention from you over playing with toys. He’s a proud member of the “Where You Go, I Go” club and will happily supervise every task you do.He’s brand new, so we’re still getting to know him, but so far he seems eager to please, incredibly friendly, and very, very ready to be someone’s shadow. If you’ve been wishing for a loyal best friend with floppy ears and unlimited enthusiasm, Vinny is already packing his bags.

Story
Shiloh is a very loving, high energy 1 year old dog who absolutely loves the outdoors and exploring. She’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s active and engaged. She would do best with an experienced dog owner who is patient and can give her the time, structure, and exercise she needs. Because of her energy level, she would thrive in a home that enjoys being outside and staying active. This decision has been incredibly difficult, but due to a recent change in my personal situation, I’m no longer able to give her the care and time she truly deserves. My only goal is to find her a safe, stable, and loving home where she can continue to grow and be happy. I’m happy to answer any questions and would love to find someone who is the right fit for her.

Story
The ultimate mama’s boy. Loki is almost always curled up with Mama Carli, and if he had it his way, that would never change. He and his brother Thor were born on the streets of Cleveland, TX, after their mom spent months surviving out there on her own. They are the two who made it. Now at four months old, it’s time for Loki to find a home of his own. Loki is a little smaller than his brother, but he absolutely does not know that. He’s confident, quick, and fully convinced he can handle whatever comes his way. At the same time, he is one of the sweetest, most affectionate puppies you’ll meet. His DNA comes back primarily GSD/Staffy, and it fits. He’s smart, people-focused, and always tuned in. He wants to be wherever you are, doing whatever you’re doing. He’s the kind of dog that will follow you from room to room, hop in your lap no matter his size, and make himself part of everything. He’s playful, fast, and keeps things interesting, but he’s also deeply connected and loyal in a way that shows up early. He’s going to grow into that “go everywhere with me” kind of dog, especially in a home that keeps him engaged and included. Loki has been raised in foster care, but he’s ready to move on. He’s ready for consistency, for a person to attach to, and for a life outside of waiting. He can be adopted on his own or with his mom, Carli. He is especially bonded to her, but we know most homes won’t be able to take both. Carli is also available and looking for a calm, stable environment where she can finally just exist without survival mode. Loki is currently in Texas and needs an East Coast foster or adopter to help get him where he needs to go. See #Loki0138 on Facebook for more info.
