Story
Introducing Julia! 🐾😍 Julia is a gorgeous 2-year-old shepherd mix with a sleek coat, graceful build, and soulful eyes that draw you right in. She carries herself with grace, almost like a little deer, and her tall, expressive ears show exactly what’s on her mind. Julia is gentle, sweet, and very loyal—just like a true shepherd, she chooses her person and sticks by their side through thick and thin. She’s pretty low energy and would be perfectly content with the occasional stroll, followed by plenty of cuddle time. Her affectionate, easygoing nature makes her a joy to be around. She does well with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she’s food-motivated, crate trained, and housebroken. Julia is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to devote all her love and loyalty to her forever family ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Story
Vaden is a lovable young adult dog with a big personality to match his 74-pound frame! His most hilarious feature? Those giant ears and his charming grin that will absolutely steal your heart. Vaden came to the shelter as a stray and his original finder described him as “the very best boy,” and it’s easy to see why! He already knows the commands “sit,” “stay,” and “down” and is eager to impress with his enthusiasm for learning!Friendly and approachable, Vaden is happiest when people take things slow with him at first to help him build trust. He has a soft spot for petting sessions, especially on his head and chest, and he’s absolutely obsessed with tennis balls! Vaden doesn’t care for petting on his booty, so he requests you please keep all scratches to his head and front upper body. Vaden’s signature move is walking around with an “emotional support tennis ball” in his mouth, and he’s always ready to trade one ball for another or show off his “sit” and “shake” skills in exchange for a throw. He enjoys playing with softer toys too, though tennis balls remain his favorite by far.Like any active young dog, Vaden is strong and pulls on leash, making him a great match for a family dedicated to training and helping him build confidence. He thrives on positive engagement, especially when treats or cheezewiz are involved! Vaden can sometimes bark at new people out of fear and was a little spicy when meeting another dog at the shelter. Vaden may do well as an only dog or in a home with another confident and respectful canine friend to show him the ropes. His ideal family will work patiently to further his obedience and socialization skills while setting him up for success. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, eager-to-please buddy into your life, Vaden is excited to be your new best friend! We recommend potential adopters bring any canine family members to meet Vaden and ensure he’s the perfect fit for your home. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Story
Lucas's adoption fee is waived for the month of August! Looking for a best friend who also doubles as your wing man? Meet Lucas. He’s handsome (obviously), loyal (like, ride-or-die loyal), and has the kind of charm that makes strangers stop mid-walk just to say hi. Basically, he’s the furry version of that friend who always knows what to say to break the ice—except his pickup line is “Hi, I’m adorable.” 🐾 Lucas is about a year old, 65 lbs of pure love, and fully recovered from his rough start in life. Now he’s ready for everything: hiking trails, swimming spots, morning runs, and car rides to wherever the fun is. He’ll happily join you for big adventures or just help you look cooler than you actually are at the coffee shop patio. Adopt Lucas—your new best friend, adventure buddy, and four-legged wing man. Interested in learning more about Lucas? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt *Lucas is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, was treated for heart worm, was given dewormer and monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.
